Thanks for posting. I just got rid of the home version of this machine. Had the smaller dirt cup with the bucket handle on it. Wasn’t too impressed with it amazed they are still selling effectively the same machine though. Thanks for posting. Always nice to see the commercial side of things
Although I much like Kirby and Royal for their beastly designs and performance, if I were a carpet installer, I would use a guardsman, but upgraded to have a steel bottom plate and a beater brush from a convertible to allow for deep cleaning. Why the guardsman? I like the way it runs (I have a Custom convertible - basically the same as the Guardsman, just a different brush). Perhaps the Guardsman is one of the best Sanitaire alternatives out there as it isn’t a knockoff of one (cough cough, Bissell) and still uses the same motor from the 80s (unlike sanitaire).
Performance Reviews the conquest is my second choice from Hoover, but the only big downside is the width would not allow for cleaning in small narrow closets due to the 14” path. Still a great machine though, just a little on the expensive side (I’ve seen them be sold for about $600-$700 average online).
Hello I went out and bought the Milwaukee shockwave drill bit along with the same quick connect chuck does your bit wiggle a little in the chuck bc mine does not have a tight fit and moves around a little when lining up a screw
Hey i just got the machine and it was working great literally almost self propelled at times. Now the heads will not spin as soon they have contact with the floor.... The suction is still working and the brushes spin when i lean it back. Please help if you know the problem please
Hoover's current commercial line is a joke. Sebo-like things, twin chamber bagless units, and black T-series Windtunnels make most of what they're pushing. They've pushed the Guardsman and Conquest, which are both good machines, to just dust cup models. I don't see them manufacturing those much longer. They even ruined their little square canister by including a stretch hose with it.

The Hushtones are really really nice.
God, I was screaming conquest the whole time!😂
Conquest is one nice machine

The Hoover Conquest is the machine I would use for carpet installation. 😎

Can you do a Hoover empower
Time to recalibrate the poor particle tester. Definitely not something you want to run in your home.

I've got a Bosch quick Chuck right now. It's all right but quick trucks are designed to be a little loose by Nature.
Would you recommend this vacuum or no? No allergies in my family Dana lot of vacuums I have are not sealed at all
No I would stick with sebo or Miele Vacuums for home use.
But not every one can necessarily afford those brands

Sounds like you need to change the belt you can expect a belt change everyone 1 to 3 months on this machine.
Performance Reviews thank you very much i checked the belt and it was a little streched. Will be replacing a.s.a.p
Hoover WindTunnel c1703-900
Hoover empower
This goes from $150 - $250.
I had the Home residential version of this machine. I hated it. Most of these are cheap crap With Commercial looks. Unfortunate but true.
Ok
It's a hoover empower, I mean foldaway, I mean commercial. But seriously hoover commercials of that nature are such a rip off.
Why would your place of work be allowed to install dry rotted belts? I'd expect a brand new rubber belt, not one that's dry rotted and cracked.
They weren't completely dry rotted but the inventory control at that place was something I fixed before I left.
@@PerformanceReviews I see.
