I have a cheaper model, but it has the same filter that I didn't know about. After cleaning the filter, the vacuum cleaner is working again. Thanks to whoever made this video.

My vacuum overheated and shut off, but the clog indicator was still green. After seeing how to remove the hose I found a clog. Thanks for the help!
Thanks for posting! Mine had approximately 14 million needles from our Christmas tree clogged inside of the hose. The indicator was red but I didn't think that the hose was the culprit until I took it off of the vacuum cleaner. Wow, I had to shove a broom stick handle down the hose just to clear the obstruction. It works better than new now. I now have a Happy wife Thanks to you I might even get some nookie tonight!!

I have a ten year old vacuum.....this hoover looks so much easier to get clogs out! omg...… I'M hoping to purchase a hoover Pet rewind Plus Vacuum today..... This excites me.... I live by "take care of your tools and they take care of you"....how I've had my other vacuum for ten years! Even the brush is easier on this model. Not sure about the newer ones however I am assuming it's just as easy!

Oh man, you didn't show how to disassemble that dirt basket thing. How do I clean all the fine dust out of it? It inside of the inside plastic tube and inside where your vacuum shows red at the top just below the reusable filter. Can you video how to "completely" disassemble the dirt containers to clean them all out, not just the dirt basket. Thank you.

Soooo. I let a family member borrow my vacuum. They were moving into a house that was pretty trashed by the previous owner. And of course, they used the vacuum on the carpet which was just covered in nasty shit. Literally.
Now, whenever I turn my vacuum on, after 30-60 seconds, it smells of poop.
I'm pretty sure my vacuum is completely ruined now. I don't think changing the filters will help if the whole vaccum smells like poop.
Lesson learned, I guess. Don't let people borrow your vacuum.
Tessa Kilker-Ingerson that sucks, I would change the filters, soak the container in a bucket of soap, bleach and baking soda, spray the rest with Clorox spray with lemon. That should get rid of the smell. Good luck
hoover vacuum wind tunnel will not recline. ANY SUGGESTION?.
