I just installed the bunker version, same deal just 2 (each side) extra bolts on the bottom near the shifter and footbrake.
Instructions provided by HEED were fuzzy but thanks to this video it was a walk in the park. The tip you gave about the lift made it all! THANK YOU SIR!
Glad to help! Ride safe
Sir, thank you again, so smooth, amazing video. Stay safe and ride on!
Thanks man, you saved me so much time. Thank you for your effort
Thanks for the video! Just ordered the bunker version and this video will help. It looks like its just two extra screws on each side right by the skid plate.
Those seem like really nice crash bars and fairly simple to install. I like them. Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching, I’m really enjoying these bars
Thanks for the video from Sydney, Australia
Safe riding mate!
Thanks for watching 👍
Thank you for this very well put together video! It helped me a lot
I got the Heed full set of bars for mine, exactly the same procedure only you also need to take out two extra bolts on low point of frame, on left side at low bolts worth cutting cable tie and applying new one once bars fitted. Great quality bars and really easy to fit.
Thank you for this nice guide.
Nice design to the crash bars. Looks factory clean.
I agree. They follow the lines of the bike nicely
Have been looking around a lot on differences crashbars for the T7 but I think these heed bars will be just right for me too. Like the way they follow the lines of the bike
I just ordered them. look great and quick shipping to USA.
Great video - i just followed this to instal my heed basic bars and it would have taken waaaaay longer with just the included instructions.
Thanks for watching 👍
Oggi ho montato le barre, il tuo video è stato di grande aiuto. Come da te indicato ho utilizzato il cric dell'auto sotto la pistra paramotore per mantenere la base allineata.. 🎉grande
Brilliant thank you 👍
very helpfull thanks
Thanks for the great video, will make this project less daunting!
Thanks for watching! 👍
Good job 👍
Thanks for watching!
I bought the same one ! Cheers 🍻
Hey
Does the “side” bar annoy your legs while riding seated or standing?
I mean the pipe which links the bars with the near the seat mounting point.
Thanks!
I actually asked the exact same question to someone before I ordered them and I can say they don’t interfere in any way 👍
Just to tell your viewers, i’ve just put them on my Tenere ,top quality but if you have a OEM centre stand on it the left side bottom 2 bolts Heed don’t supply the longer bolts , i used the bolts already there just removed the washers under the bolt head you have to remove he sump guard , the bolts screw through the frame thread through a bush with a flange nut on the back hopefully this help someone, regards Paul in 🇬🇧
This tip definitely saved me some time. Thank you!
nice job man!! did your knees make any attache with the bars when you are riding??
also , when you have the steering wheel at full right or left position does hit the adaptor of bars under the headlight???
No contact from either. They work great 👍
What blinkers are you running? I like the simple look of them.
Denali T3
Ciao ottimo video. Quindi possibile stringere i dadi anche senza chiave dinamometrica? Grazie
Are there torque specs provided with the crash bar instructions for each of the bolts used to install the crash bars and replace the OEM components?
If I remember correctly they did not list the specs. You can use the factory specs for each bolt replaced or contact Heed to be sure. They are pretty quick to reply and happy to help their customers.
Do they mount with the engine ? Or the frame please?
what about Newtons at bolts??
Im about to buy them, but I dont know if the basic or bunker version, Do you miss the extra engine protection?
I’ve dropped the bike once since I’ve installed them and engine was fine. If you ride near a lot of large rocks then maybe it would be better to have the extra protection. Honestly, for me, now that companies are starting to offer more durable body panels, I’ve been thinking about ditching them completely to save a little weight
Can you do all this without remove the plastics???
How are they going? Have you been happy so far.
I’ve only had a few rides since installing them but I like them. Haven’t had a drop yet to confirm their durability but they feel strong.
Can these crash bars be installed with most skid plates?
They should be compatible with most skid plates
your videos very nice and inspirative, why you choose this crash bars ? I am thinking about someone ? Recomend you this one? thanks 😉😉👍👍
I’ve read a lot of good things about these bars from other riders. I like the look and they aren’t too heavy.
@@MotoSouth thanks 👍👍and I´m waiting new videos about téméré 700 with new accessories
What spools are you using to lift the back tire?
No spools. The stand I have lifts it under the swing arm.
@@MotoSouth Which stand is it?
I got it from Harbor Freight
How much do they weigh?
Sorry, I didn’t get a weight before I installed them. They are about as light as a steel crash bar will get for this bike though. The adventure specs are aluminum so they will probably be the lightest option but I’ve heard those can bend more easily.
