Man! I’ve gotta give it up for you! This is undoubtedly the BEST INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO ever! I didn’t even need to bother looking at the product enclosed instructions (always a plus). I simply followed your steps by setting up my phone and pausing it when necessary. You walked me through everything beautifully and the thermostat is up and running, registered and accessible via the app on my smartphone. I just can’t thank you enough. I’ve been struggling with some poorer quality thermostats and, well, you get what you pay for right? Incredible job well done! Thank you so much!!!!
Great video! Followed EVERYTHING to the tee. Unfortunately when I switched the power on the breaker, the thermostat didn't turn on. Ehhhh...no worries. I'll figure it otherwise, I'll have a pro come in. Thank you though; this was beyond helpful.
Is there another one that instructs you how to add a 5th wire in the sir handler and connect it to the pek device? I had 4 wires connected to the old thermostat. There is a blue fifth one not connected to anything in the thermostat and not connected in the air handler.
May I suggest you consider a step by step install video for dual-fuel systems for the enhanced and premium models. Recommended settings would also be helpful. (esp. Heat Pump and Gas furnace.) The new Inflation Reduction Act is heavily incentivizing consumers to switch from traditional compressors to heat pumps - dual fuels systems have been gaining traction in recent years and will likely become more accepted soon and for several years to come.
Yes, please! I just got this a few days ago...with a whole new HVAC system...and just ran a new 18ga/8 wire...but don't know how to wire that in to my dual fuel system.

Great video tutorials - thanks. Quick question: I have 6 wires instead of 5 wires ... the 6th being for a humidifier. What remaining terminal does that single (1 wire) humidifier plug into? The W2/OB terminal? Thanks. And please keep the great videos coming! Cheers.
I have and orange wire. And on my old thermostat the yellow was in yellow 2 but the ecobee want let me install it the way. I have a heat pump, electric sux heat and a/c all in one. Can’t get ecobee support

What happens if you have a heat pump? How do you do that during install?

Took pic of my old wire setup. Plugged em back into the eco and it just blows hot air no matter what
