They put parking assist on what I believe is one of the shortest wheelbase passenger cars in the world. Amazing. But they'll never fix the problem between the steering wheel and driver seat.
That's what I'm wondering m8, nothing against the car per saw, but it's like why would you get THIS car.. I get niche and shit but idk, seems like anyway you spin it there's a much better reason, except you wanna be different.
@@joshphillips5480 the JCW is crazy for pricepoint, also no other brand can make a SUV this fun to drive, if you drive a mini you can see how different they feel vs all other brands, litteral go-kart feel
Had a 2022 Countryman JCW, use this for parallel parking sometimes and it’s great when it works. However, 2/10 times the park assist won’t turn on when I flip the knob and sometimes it also takes more than one extra car space before it can scan the parking spot, which cause the car behind me to push me forward and I can’t back up. And the worst is sometimes it scanned the parking spot inaccurately and I have to turn it off to avoid scratching the car, but only if you can turn it off. I had an experience once I couldn’t turn try r park assist off no matter how many time I flip the switch, and ended up shifting it back to D, the steering wheel then suddenly turned in the reverse direction for like 10 rounds. I was really scared, but luckily the car didn’t move and I gain back my control after and parallel park myself manually.
I’m very weary of shit like this and feel like I can’t trust it.. and I could tell you live in the same place as me lol either Brooklyn. Or queens but looks like Brooklyn.. no sirrrrrr I cannot trust this yet lol
@@everydaythings022 As a Brit, I can categorically say that he's most definitely not British. Sounds like a very American accent to me. We also drive on the left here! The streets don't even look British...
....Dear...God I don't say it lightly wtf is that GUI.. That genuinely looks like a late 90s design (which I usually love)... But in a "Modern" application..

A countryman is larger than a standard hatch - Most of which have park assist available.
The Countryman does not in any way have th shortest wheelbase of a passenger vehicle, there are cars with wheelbases
@@joshphillips5480what you suggest buying?
This looks way better than the 2025. Idk what they were thinking, when it came to getting rid of the dials, etc. Really went backwards…
I like both
I don't want bright screens in my car.😢

I had a 2011 Skoda Yeti with this feature. I didn't bother using it most of the time.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Super

I don't think this is in the USA. Looks like United Kingdom (UK). Also the accent.
@@everydaythings022The left hand drive car, cars driving on the right side and the New York license plates are a give away :P

😮😮😮🎉❤
is that standard or does it cost extra for this feature?
Extra 💰 I believe.
There are 3 different “packs” you can upgrade to.
Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn near Nordstrom Avenue
If you can’t park a mini cooper, you probably shouldn’t be driving 😂
lol my 2008 Ford can do that.
WHAAAAAT?
Wow! People can’t seriously parallel park by themselves? Sure, it’s hard but it’s doable. Don’t give up!
HOW
Das ist kein Countryman 2024!!!!

i think it's quite quaint and I might get used to it. The previous Mini had a circular infotainment like this.
We get it josh, u hate everythibg about mini no need to say it twice ..
People are really THAT lazy that they can’t even parallel park anymore 🙄 our society has officially gone down the tubes
It's fun to watch technology evolve. Your mindset would have kept us in the stone age.
its easier to park it your self using something call driving skill
That's not a 2024 mini....
My window sticker, VIN and registration says it’s a 2024 countryman
