Great disaster video! My partner and I have been enjoying your content, it has been very helpful for our planning. We are travelling to South Korea in October for about a month, after travelling to Japan in September. We are planning to: - Cycle Seoul to Busan - Eat lots of food - Exploring British war memorials and special connections of Korean towns with UK towns. - Doing tourist stuff - Avoiding the raw crab and clams Kamahamnida, keep up the good work! 💪 (btw do you accept Paypal tips?)
Thanks so much @tomaytotomato! Really glad the videos have helped a bit, and you guys are going to have an amazing time traveling for a month! October has the best weather of any month here too in my opinion. Your plan sounds amazing too! Especially glad that you are going to cycle from Seoul to Busan too! My PayPal is matt.hollman@gmail.com. Thank you very much!
That's awesome @Geeraffe! Might be hard to go to Bukhansan together, but hope you have an amazing trip and say hi if you see us on the streets of Seoul!
@Geeraffe all the best with your move! I don't know any Korean teachers personally, but if I were you I would do the lessons on www.howtostudykorean.com and save all of the vocabulary and sample sentences into Anki (write them out in a notebook too), and review them on Anki every day. Then do 100 vocabulary on Memrise as well so you learn how to type in Korean fast. Once you get to the point where you can easily say things like "I like this movie for this reason, but not this one" then start looking for conversation exchange partners on the app Hello Talk for free. I used to meet two native Koreans every week at cafes in Seoul, and we spoke in English for 1 hour and then Korean for 1 hour, but you have to be strict about it being a conversation exchange or it will usually just turn into hanging out in English as friends. Hope that helps a bit, and good luck!
I only discovered your content after visiting S Korea last year (bummer), but you are constantly helping me re-live my time there and nurturing a desire to return. Thank you and I hope you'll get the attention you deserve!
Thanks for sharing your latest adventure even if it didn't go according to plan. So sorry to hear about your bout with food poisoning. Hopefully it doesn't put you off of Jogae Gui in the future. Always love eating it when I have the chance (and recommend Muuido for it - it's not far from Incheon Airport but seems like it is a world away).
Thanks a lot @dschoonaert! I'll have Jogae Gui again some day for sure, and I've been wanting to go to Muuido since my first month in Korea, but have never made a trip out there. Thanks for the recommendation, really gotta go check it out!
Wow @pitch-black2530 thanks so much for your generousity! We really appreciate it, and will add your name to the end of our videos (if it's okay) to say thank you! 😊
Thanks so much Howard! We aren't too sure exactly which place it came from, because when we got back to Seoul we had dinner from a place that also didn't feel quite right (not in the video). It could have been any of the places I think. Have an amazing week eh!
Was definitely not fun @addytude! Haha. Yeah we have a gut feeling where it was from, but we had some bad luck with a shotty meal in Seoul when we got back too, so that was the first place we thought it was from. Still not 100% sure!
@hoyathere6608 oh yes sea pineapple has a really intense flavour that I don't like as well, but it's good when it's cooked in Miyeok-guk (미역국) / Korean Seafood Soup in my opinion.
💟👀 😂😂😂 love the humour..good visit ..
@elizabethlaw3724 haha thanks so much! Was a very ridiculous and funny trip! 🤣
Those cats are crazy lol. Korea is the only country where I've had to break up cat fights as well. They don't play around.
Hahah they are really wild eh @lmaoitsover! I think they must go through a lot on a day to day basis because they are pretty tough!
I didn't see this before... Nice video. Great ending...
Thanks so much @aletheia3!
Thanks for sharing.
I admire your spirit of 'adventure' > circumstances change & we have to change with them (haha)
Thanks a lot @daniels.2720! Unpredictability can definitely bring excitement/adventure if we accept it with an open mind! 😁

Nicely presented trip.
Thanks a lot @mariojsworld!
I will be back in Seoul end of March if you fancy wandering around Bukhansan 👍
That's awesome @Geeraffe! Might be hard to go to Bukhansan together, but hope you have an amazing trip and say hi if you see us on the streets of Seoul!
@@lostthenfound cheers I am in the process of moving - if you know any Korean language teachers that would be great 👍

So sorry you guys got so sick. Food poisoning and being that sick for 5 days is terrible. So glad you two are feeling better now🙏
Thanks a lot Mom! Haha it was a rough time indeed, but feeling 100% now luckily! Food poisoning is no joke though!

Oh no! Food poisoning! You know it’s from the seafood place, you’re just being nice😅

@Inchonseoul 😁
Sea pineapple is the only Korean food I did not like.
