It's not reverse heckling, it's just heckling. The real stage is the rest of the bar - there were no comedians on the "stage". It's a guy off the stage making fun of the comedians on the stage.
Maybe he was covering up for his friend who was going after him to make him more confident. "Don't worry man, i'm gonna do such a shitty stand up the public will cry for you to come on the scene to replace me no matter what awfull jokes you tell them"

Rule number one of totally amazing comedy: If you have a potential joke, make sure to add 20 swear words to it. It automatically makes it 100 times funnier and definitely doesn’t make it feel forced

His comedy routine is actually the art of setting himself up to get roasted. Its genius it saves alot of time to actually have to write your own jokes and let the crowd do it for you. The crowd is oblivious what a legend.

The cameraman was smart to just shout "Good closure!" and pretty much force him to stop performing. Quick thinking saved the whole audience a lot more time.
The beautiful thing about comedy is that not everyone can do it. There are people who are funny and people who laugh, this guy is a prime example of someone who should just laugh at other people’s jokes and get off stage.
Here is my theory: The man isn't even a comedian. An actual comedian cancelled. They were sick or whatever. The manager just tossed some drunk dude a pitcher of beer to go make an ass of himself.
