This is a HUGE accomplishment!! ❤ driving anxiety is real, but the independence you gain is so worth it. I used to get really anxious driving after an accident, too. I highly recommend chewing mint gum, rolling the window down, and having cold water while driving. After about a year or so, my driving anxiety (mostly) dissipated. You got this! ❤

As a fellow horror/Halloween fan (literally two things I'm obsessed with), please please pleaseee don't ever stop loving what you love. You're one of my favorite ASMRtists because of our common interest in those kinds of things.
One of the things I remember doing with my nana was using a Ouija board together and it just brings me happy memories. You're so awesome, please keep making videos about the things you like.

good for you for deciding to take the steps to get your license again!! you should be so proud of yourself! when i was little i was involved in a handful of really bad car accidents and it made me really afraid to get my license but i've had mine for about 5 years now. i've never been in an accident with me being behind the wheel because i'm a very careful and defensive driver but i would be lying if i said i'm not absolutely terrified every time i have to drive anywhere(usually just to work or the grocery store) but even to this day i'm still too afraid to drive on any freeways 😭 maybe one day i will get over it lol

I really feel you about driving paige. I’ve actually never had my license and I’m 26. I’ve driven and had a temporary license at one point but driving is so scary to me and I don’t know how people get over it! So many people I know started driving when they were so young, so it’s second nature for them, but my parents never pushed for me to learn as a teen and we were too poor to ever buy me a car
There are decent buses where I live and I have a partner who helps me get around in his car, but it is really quite limiting sometimes. It’s hard when running a fun errand which would be a 20 minute car ride turns into multiple buses and hours of commuting

I'll never understand why people bother to make negative and hurtful comments instead of just walking away/unsubscribing/clicking off a video. If you're not hurting anyone or saying anything wildly offensive, you are allowed to state your thoughts and be interested in what you're interested in! We love you for you! that if someone has wrote a negative comment, it’s mostly means that’s how they see themselves it is all about them. But they’re soo frustrated by themselves so they took it on others. So just be yourself 💯 you’re amazing & beautiful ❤️ and remember when someone is positive they see positive but when someone is negative they see negative 👍🏽

So proud of you Paige! ❤️ I completely understand how you feel in regards to driving. I got my license at 22, so it took me a while to overcome my fear. This past January, one day after my 26th birthday, I got into my first ever major accident and it’s only heightened my driving anxiety. Slowly but surely I’m getting better. Be vigilant and cautious, you’ll do great! Best of luck! ☺️

Driving anxiety is no joke! Such a huge decision that no doubt will benefit your daily life and autonomy. Given the trauma you have experienced, please take it slow, use an ‘exposure therapy’ approach. Be kind to yourself as you work toward overcoming the fear that has built over the years.

Paige, it’s gonna be so great when you get that freedom back that comes with driving. But I know your anxiety. I had a bad wreck 17 years ago and I still have PTSD from it. The first time I got behind the wheel some months later I was sweating and gripping the wheel and afraid to go more than 30 miles an hour. I felt like any minute I would lose control. But the more I drove the more comfortable I got. Unfortunately I still have bad anxiety riding with someone else driving. It’s embarrassing but I can’t help it. If we’re on the highway I have to just lower my head, close my eyes and grip the seat. It’s upsetting that when someone offers to take me somewhere I hesitate and have to explain. Maybe someday it will go away completely. BUT, you just start slow and you’ll adjust back to it so fast!! It’s gonna be fantastic!!👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️

I was also in a really scary car accident when I was in high school and I put off getting my license for several years because of it. Coming from someone with the same trauma, I can tell you…. You’re gonna be SO proud of yourself when you get that license!
