this video brings me back to my trip to the east coast park in july where I went from the KPMG healing garden close to the Siglap MRT underpass all the way to the Xtreme Skate Park. i even visited the Bedok Jetty and enjoyed watching the planes taking off from Changi airport and the Marina Bay Sands city skyline. at that time, I used the underpass to the Bayshore MRT station entering from the ramp entrance. however, the beach was still closed to the public due to the oil spill in sentosa. actually, we can walk to the Bougainvillea Garden from the Bayshore MRT underpass located further up from the Xtreme Skate Park. hopefully, a new underpass linking the east coast park will be built once a new HDB neighbourhood along Bayshore Drive is developed to provide convenience for future residents.
This is the first time I walk this path to East Coast, I was so amaze with the look of the underpass, some viewers mention "Atas underpass" 😁...now with Bay Shore MRT Station, those who love fishing can access to Bedok Jetty much more easily.
Hmm....Bayshore mrt seems to be a shorter walking distance to ECP as compared to Marine Terrace mrt. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm trying to see which is a shorter route so that I can bring my kids to ECP. Tks for sharing 😊
Yes Bay Shore is shorter, Marnie parade is another better choice as there are some shops on way to the underpass. If you are bringing kids there, best to go to Marine Cove as there are many playgrounds and fun place for kids, using Marine Terrace Underpass, yes, it is quite a walk.
