Bus Service 43 is also available as another way to Sungei Bedok by buses too (before it terminates at the Upper East Coast Terminal), I took it this morning and checked the progress of the stretch
Do keppel, cantonment and prince edward of crl Both these, bedok south, sungei bedok, xilin of tel, dtl and the new circle line stations will be open in 2026 Theres also punggol coast station to be open end of this year and the infill hume station of dtl next year
Honestly, the authorities should NOT have aligned the opening of TEL5 with Changi and East Coast Depots; they should have put the needs of the huge number of residents in Bedok South vicinity ABOVE the aforementioned depots, and construct/open TEL5 independently. Many do not realise how much agony residents have to put up with with just another year of waiting.
@@thirtynine540 I think the fire protection systems of TEL & DTL of Sungei Bedok is integrated, so they cannot operate independently. You see, Xilin MRT station still has a lot left to go. By the time the TEL5 & DTL3e opens I’ll not be schooling by then :(

Too bad TEL5 and DTL3e were delayed again by another year
They could be finished by end of next year if lucky enough
They need to open in tandem with the Changi MRT depot, so I doubt they will open next year since the depot most likely will open two years later
@@liewsoonhao4643Yea, not to forget the East Coast Integrated Depot as well (which also includes the EWL)
