N. is the story that pulled me in so intensely, I've never forgotten the story like I have with some of the other short stories over the years. It's obviously my favorite from Just After Sunset.
I like novels not short stories too, but Different Seasons by King was excellent. Good advice on fighting. One punch can be devastating. I used to fear drowning, but the porta toilet imprisonment is my worst fear now. Thanks.
I am going to get the audio just to listen to the cat story. My favorite King short story is Autopsy Room 4 from Everything’s Eventual. I will look for your review on the channel! Brian I know you have 10k Subs now and know you are super popular but you should be reminded how important your videos are to all of us. I look forward to 9:00am like I look forward to the 6:30pm pregame of my favorite sports teams.
This was fun! You remind me of the time I read, "Autopsy Room 4" and "Night Flier", which originally appeared in "Prime Evil", and is a bit of an homage to Kolchak! Thanks, Brian!!
The TPB cover definitely draws you in more. I really wish we would see more short stories. I recently read TR Napper's Neon Leviathan which is a series of short stories set in a cyberpunk world. I thought it is the best short story collection I have read in a very long time. I think you would really enjoy it.
N. was such an amazing novella. It is so atmospheric and eerie. The element of OCD was also frightening. You should check out Marvel's comic adaption of it available on youtube.
Hey Brian!!! Love your channel and content! Was wondering if you’ve ever read Cormac McCarthy? Also, have you ever considered doing a Greg Iles book collection video?

Love your book reviews and videos in general. You got a great style man!
Been sitting on my shelf for awhile, I’ll have to pick it up soon

Oooh I'm looking forward to this one! I am reading in Publication order but m only about 1/3 through. It's a fun process.
I didn't expect Stephen King to write something like this, but I'm glad he at least tried.
The horrors of the stationary bike and longing for cheeseburgers! 😂
This is a nightmare for most people. Lol.

your description of stationary bike had me in tears

I would have to agree it's a good collection. I like all the stories in this book. A Very Tight Place is a nasty one.
I'm listening to the book about his writing journey, on audible. He narrates it himself!

I loved Stationary Bike. Also the porta potty story is easily one of my favorites lol
I'm definitely will be reading this book I haven't read much of kings short story collections
Yeah N rocked. Friggin' scary. The comic version is great too.
My favourite ones were the OCD story and A Very Tight Place.
OMG The Cat From Hell is Stephen King Gold! I love that story too!
I don’t like short stories either. I’ve tried, oh Lord, I’ve tried.
