The narrator mentioned that the lake is very clean that you could directly drink water from the lake.....Then i saw the girl threw her cigarette. I think the Lake's guardian is mad for polluting the lake. And that's why she wrote in her note "I DID KNOCK FIRST," stating that it was her fault and deserve the punishment.
Its very hard to make a movie that is scary these days, the audience is jaded and knows all the tricks, but this was engaging, full of pathos and foreboding, and all this is less than 7 minutes. A brilliant piece, skillfully done.
I think it has to do with the ciggarette she threw in the water. At the beginning we were told the lake's water was so clean you could drink it straight from the lake. The ciggarette would have been the start of pollution: the 'first knock', maybe. Then whatever was in the water got angry.
I already know it's not safe to go boating alone at night. If, somehow, I wound up in that position anyway...I'd head for shore at the first knock, I guess (at least the first one where I believed that I'd really heard something, you know?), but if it was already too late and the boat was being held in place, I'd keep at least one oar AND the lantern in the boat with me. So I could fight for my life when It finally surfaced.
I remember when I was like 9 or 10 I watched this short. I was a little scared and didn't understand it but I loved the creepy feeling. Now I found this again and by looking in the comment section I understood more. This will forever be one of my favorites
My take on the meaning of the story is that the monster wrote "I did knock first" to point out that Francis had put herself into such a vulnerable position (Being out by herself late at night, in the middle of the lake) she couldn't run, even if the monster warned her of his impending attack. Thus his point is she was partly or entirely responsible for what happened to her. In this world there are "monsters" everywhere in many forms. If we are naive and/or careless, we put ourselves at their mercy. And Monsters don't have mercy, otherwise we wouldn't call them monsters.
I watched it at school, and there are clues. At the beginning in the bedroom you see him placing down toys on the map. He places down some kind of monster, which might have killed the girl. And in the fish tank you can see something under the boat and it sinks. There are also 3 shadows in the forest that shows it watching her.
The "I did knock first" deal is supposed to relate to the whole concept of politeness which makes it all the more creepier. The thing that wrote in the last page was basically saying "oh well I did knock first so it's okay." It's kind of like if a serial killer, after invading their victim's house, responded to questioning about why they thought what they did was okay with "I did knock first." I don't know how to express this properly but basically think of it as they are saying well I was polite at first...
Damn that adds a whole level of extra creepiness to this Proves that whatever killed her was an intelligent being that knew what it was doing rather than just a mindless monster How delightfully sinister this all is
After the first knocks, the only response I had was to say, "Who's there?" XD The lake inhabitant killed her because she wouldn't participate in the joke. Silly girl.
Francis' eyes slowly close as her conciousness fades away She soon finds herself awake and tied up in a dungeon Shes afraid as she comes to the conclusion that she was going to be tortured with pain but boy was she wrong Soon a massive 6'5 man comes around the dungeon, each step shakes the floor around him Francis soon realises that this man is naked and that he has a 12 inch boner Francis starts screaming but the man held her mouth shut Shhh little girl, this will all be over soon he slams her to the ground as she pants in desperation PLEASE LET ME GO, she screams but the man didnt even aknowledge her voice shes wriggling and trying to get away but the man rips off all her clothes Then the man gets one of his tools and puts a ball gag on Francis' mouth Francis Choked on the cum as she screamed in agony and pleasure is that all big boy? she asks and started going hardcore with francis Francis didnt feel scared anymore instead she was enjoying herself This made the man angry So he Forced Up his biggest ejaculation yet and erupted in her mouth Francis passed out from lack of breathe Everyday from then on, She was fucked by the brute until she passed out The End
The silent sail into the murky mid, Who then would hear a knocking bid. Thrice the sound below the wave, Shall shook such will and all such brave. Choices and act and feverish fact, Could not be budge for land to tract. For remain of morn was a journal be curse, With four muddy words: "I did knock first."
Question is... who did the knocking? Death, waiting patiently? Maybe a predator waiting for a midnight meal? We will never know, as it leaves much to the imagination.
People are reading too much into the last line. "I did knock first" is pretty simple; it's like when someone unwelcome knocks before barging into a room and complains "I did knock first". It means the unwelcome creature came on board, and the knock was it's creepy way of being courteous before doing whatever terrible thing it did..
This powerful piece is about depression, suicide, and the never ending psychological battles that people suffering from depression go through. Francis suffers from depression. The dark, dreary camp grounds (her depression) are too much for Francis to handle, so she escapes, hoping to find a new, happier path in her life. The huge lake represents the cold, dark depths of death (a way out). The boat (Lifeboat) symbolizes her weak and fragile will to live that she desperately clings onto. The lantern (Lifeline) is the last glimmer of hope Francis has that could guide her out of her depression. The "knocking" represents the "voices" within Francis's mind that tells her to end her pain and misery ("Just-Do-It"). This is not to say that Francis didn't go out without putting up a fight. She tries her hardest to row out of the lake, to break free from the depression that wants to drown her, but to no avail. Not letting go of Francis, the depression has finally overwhelmed and consumed her. Loosing her lantern and finally the oars, all the hope in her has been drained out. Even the Campfire back at the camp went out, symbolizing there is virtually no chance of going back. Francis finally decides to give up. Having made up her mind, Francis writes her suicide note in her journal ironically titled: "Vive La Francis". The last words Francis penned were: "I did knock first", meaning that it was indeed, her inner voice, suggesting and commanding her to do the most powerful thing she can ever do: end her own life, under her own terms. This was a very memorable and touching short...
BMC Productions Very plausible and good interpretation, especially because of depression being produced by the mind itself. The whole surrounding that finally holds and kills her is just her mind not letting her go off the boat. She drowns in what has warned her several times before, without having a chance once she entered the boat. She might has survived if she told her parents and didn't go to the lake (which is a symbol for the deepest of depression, as you have mentioned). The resulting message would be as powerful: Don't enter your depression alone, or it will drown you. You can't escape, but you might find some person in your life that can help you learning to swim in your "lake" ... The figure of depression could also be easily swapped with "drugs", because once you started them and you are deep in the lake, you won't exit without help. A point for this view is the cigarette she handles with in the beginning of her journey and that she smokes during her time on the lake. Message: Don't go there alone, DON'T go deeper during your darkest hours! Learn to swim and live. "We don't free us from our feelings, but within them"
I love the way the narrator doesn’t change the volume of their voice. It really allows for the silence and music to add to the feeling of being unsettled, but still unsure if anything is going to happen. Edit: Has anyone considered that perhaps the monster wrote the words at the end? The monster could be saying “I knocked, and gave her a chance, but she didn’t take it”. The monster may have simply accepted an apology of some sort, but instead viewed Francis’ actions as running away from her consequences.
I know this is supposed to be scary and it is but I'm just laughing thinking about this super polite lake monster like he knocked on her boat to let her know that he was gonna kill her and then he was like WELL I KNOCKED FIRST JEEZ like honestly can someone write fanfic about this v civil lake monster who just wants to be able to eat people in the most polite way possible
It's quite creepy watching this at half past eleven in your bed when everything around you is covered in darkness and the only thing visible is the light of the mobile. But the feeling is all the same so magnificent and exciting thanks to this amazing animation. I wouldn't have wanted to miss it! Thx
We watched this in school to learn about how to write "suspense" in your stories, instead we learnt how to not row in the middle of the ocean without mommy xD
I really loved this animation and it's so underrated. The illustration is beautiful and I loved the cliff hanger. I hope we get a part 2 perhaps. I watched this at school with my teacher.
To people who didn't get the "I did knock first" part, the monster wrote it because he had knocked before killing (or kidnapping or eating or whatever it did to her) Francis. It's supposed to be psychologically scary, and the idea of knocking itself should scare you for a few days, especially if you saw this at midnight with the lights off.
+정재현 I'm not even scared just a little depressed, especially after listening to the interpretation above by BMC Productions. Ironically I am watching this at midnight with the lights off totally unintentional.
happy bandaner Nope. The video's purpose of the phrase "I did knock first" is to insert fear into it's viewers of knocking. It's psychological. If you hear knocking, it will immediately associate that with this video where the character who experienced the knocking sounds disappeared, probably killed, afterwards.
Wail watching this as soon as the guy said "there was written four words, I DID KNOCK FIRST" my dad knocked on my door telling me dinners ready... ;_; reanaction the guy: "And on that page said four words...I DID KNOCK FIRST" *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* ???: DINNERS READY!!! *opens door* me: DAD WTF?!?!? ;_;
+Madelaine Rhea I would have had a heart attack. That makes me think of the one night I was watching someone play Clocktower, you know the one with Bobby Buroughs? And his giant scissors freaked me out. But when I tried to fall asleep afterwards I swear I heard footsteps and the sounds of something clicking together. I don't know who it was, if it was my dad or a sibling. So yeah I know how freaky those moments are.

That was fabulous ! Poor little girl but it teaches u that we parents tell u not to do things and this is why...listen to ur parents...do not wonder into the night...things lie beneath the vail of darkness...
She threw the cigarette in the lake, and the lake monster gets mad. However he warned her 2-3 times to leave, ultimately it is fault for not only littering but also not leaving.
He even said at the beggining that the water is so clean you can drink directly from the lake and she trowed the cigarette in the lake and then the lantern xD

I watched this short, thinking it was a light-hearted one. It was everything but that haha~ I thought the narration would take away the mood of the story but surprisingly, it didn't. It has that urban legend sort of vibe going on (the kind when you are all huddled up together, listening to ghost stories) and the anticipation leading up to the last scene was well done! Anyways, great job to those who made this. I'm having chills running down my spine right now :D
The first knock came shortly after she thrown the cigarette in the lake - and became stronger after she lost the lamp in the lake. Maybe something was just pissed off cause she used the lake for waste disposal
I think that she started smoking because she was trying to release her stress, since she was depressed. When she threw her cigarrette she started to get stressed out again and she could hear the scary VOICES in her head ( The VOICES were The knocks) that told her to kill herself. She tried to get out but there was NOWHERE TO GO and nobody that could help her. So she gave up fighting for her life by dropping her lantern in The lake, which meant she lost her Will to live. The VOICES started to take control over her and The only option left for her, was to end her life. I think this video was about how suicidal People with depression feels like.
Anyone just guessed that there was a creature or so that was a bit pissed about the first thing she just tossed into the lake? It's home? Then the lantern falls in and it goes "Excuse me?!" Then she pokes around with the 'wooden things' and it gets a bit more pissed about it, not knowing that she actually was trying to leave and it itself was keeping her from doing so ....something simple as that?
I don't think there is a second part, nor a need for one (it says "the end" in the last seconds of the video anyway). The sentence at the end says it all, "I did knock first". It's not put there at random, there is a moral to the story. Everyone should make its own reasoning about what happened and why. That's the whole point! :)
***** Yeah, I feel that this whole story was meant to "represent" something... perhaps some issues in life. Something that a young teen/adult could experience... here is my sort of theory. I have found some interesting things... like in 0:47. I feel that the aquarium became a sort of foreshadowing/clue. - There is a boat with a man on it, floating on the top. The top is well lit. (Could represent a peaceful/tranquil/happy situation.) - There is a girl statue under the water. (Could represent a victim) - There is a skeleton head. (Could represent death or demise) - There is an empty treasure chest. (Could represent false promise) - There is a diving helmet. (Not sure what this could mean... but I often think up of life-support. It could also represent reliance.) This is all I have found so far. --------------------------------------------- Edit: I did think up of a possibility, that... this could be somehow related to drugs? It is my first idea. Drugs can tend to be one of things that seem okay at first... something to get us away from people, and something to put us into this little world to be peaceful. Though, then problems start to arise. The knocking could either represent these problems, or the rising addiction to drugs. However, the girl just ignores it at first, and lets it pass. As a result, the problems start to increase more and more... until she decides that she should try to stop. However, she is put into a situation where she cannot get out anymore... to the point where she is hooked. She cannot get out of her addiction. So she just ends up riding with it... hoping that one day it could stop. Now, on the "clues" from the aquarium: -The boat and tranquil sky can represent the good feelings that happen when you first take such drugs. -The girl on the bottom can represent entrapment, "drowning" (in the issue), or a previous victim. -The skeleton head could represent the result of being hooked (a physical/mental demise). -The treasure chest (that opens and closes) can represent money, being constantly emptied due to the drugs. -The diving helmet can represent the reliance to such drugs. (or, it can represent the reliance on money, due to the fact that the diving helmet is near the treasure chest.)
MrEtmer I love your reading. Here's mine: The knocking was described, repeatedly, as though it sounded just like someone knocking to get in the door. "Acknowledge me," it was saying. The girl refused to believe that this knocking was in any way related to the knock of a door, even though it sounded just like it. "I did knock first" was telling us that sometimes what we perceive is, in truth, exactly as our subconscious would have us believe, and only when sense and 'reason' intercede do we make false jumps of logic. Sometimes, we just have to say to thing that knocks, "Come in."
My guess is it is a mermaid cause in old greek fairytales the mermaid used to knock underneath the boat and get the people fall into the ocean and used to eat them .
@Ri'AikaCröw there are hundreds of different types of mermaids. I once tried looking for the original mermaid myrhs and just got a bunch of references that contradicted each other.
This was quite interesting. I love the plot and the setting and I also like how the character's fear was quite pronounced throughout the film, it was was realistic, compelling and the message was cool. Really good job!!!

Elizabeth Archer I appreciate the suggestion, but frankly, considering this thing as a creepy pasta would be an insult, considering how shit most of those things are written. That's just my opinion though.(Also creepy pastas are generally a written medium where as this story is a visual/audio one)
***** I didn't say all creepy pasta's where bad (I happen to like ben drowned quite a bit), but most of them aren't written very well. Still, thanks for supporting my point either way
I was wondering the first minutes of the video if it had a lesson but then I just realize it was just a creepy ass short story that I am watching at 1am...
Worst time to watch something like this. But, of course, the world is full of idiots (and I'm one of them, so no offense intended) who watch horror vids after midnight.
Zodiac MacCarthaigh I don't think the term coward applies to girls actually. the girls that hides behind guys are cute too!! I guess it's just two different kinds of cute. the one that's brave and serious makes you want to seduce them and find out that they have a dirty side deep down inside them (teasing them is fun); and the ones that hide behind guys makes you want to protect them. so I think both ways are cute.
Will the thing attack her if it was daylight instead of night? its seems ironic that all human fear is set at night time and loneliness. We fear the dark so we create the setting of such stories at night.
This is similar to other theories in the comment section but here’s mine: Like someone has already mentioned, the narrator mentioned the water is clean enough to be drinkable. But Francis threw her cigarette butt in the water, polluting it. This made the “lake guardian” mad or something, and knocked the boat to warn her to get out of the water or else it would harm her. But she ignored it the first two times. Normally, when someone’s knocking in real life, they would knock three times before opening the door without permission. She ignored it and so the lake guardian had enough and killed her. The words “I DID KNOCK FIRST” I think is her “knocking” in the water by throwing the cigarette butt in there. She knocked first, meaning she disturbed the water first before it did anything to her. That’s my theory :))))
I believe this is an anti-littering short. The knocking started as soon as she threw her cigarette into the water, in an area of nature where everything was supposed to be clean. "I did knock first."
Bruhhhh THERE WAS NOBODY THERE MAN! IT WAS FRANCIS VOICES IN HER HEAD THAT MADE HER KILL HERSELF, SHE WAS JUST STUCK THERE WITH NOBODY THAT COULD HELP HER OR NOWHERE TO GO SO THE ONLY OPTION WAS TO END HER LIFE
My take is kinda based around the fact that she was smoking. The first knock came after she threw her cigarette into the water. Maybe it's the "addiction" knocking on the boat, telling her "this is a warning. Quit while you can." And maybe she's refusing To think that it's taking over her so the knocking continues to warn her. When she's stuck in the water, it's too late and the addiction is taking over. And then "I did knock first" could maybe be equal to "I did warn her." But that's just my take on the story.
I’m rewatching this after ages because it’s still one of my favourite animations, I love psychological horrors. I’m guessing the note at the end was written by the monster saying he gave her a warning before killing her perhaps meaning that because of her carelessness nature it led her to this with the meaning being that if you are careless in this world and don’t listen to the warnings, there are bad consequences. Maybe what she did was throwing the cigarette in the water that set it off as mentioned in the beginning that the water was clear and also possibly meaning that she triggered the monster herself as nothing was there before.
My idea is extremely bland and probably the first to be expected, but also the first to be thrown away. I believe that maybe the woods were haunted or maybe a demonic creature was trying to enter the mortal world, but for some reason was confined to that specific lake. Now, there aren't any "natural' openings in a lake such as a portal, hole, or even a door. Once the bottom of the boat was present the demon took it was a door and so it tried to enter the mortal world. It could go through the "door" for it was just a bottom of a boat. The girl freaked out by the knocking and the boat not being able to move tried to wait until morning, but the demonic interaction with a worldly object may have caused a "pause" in time never allowing day to come. The girl being frightened may have tried to swim to land ,but leaving the boat, she entered the demon's realm and was possesed, wrote the last 4 words, then her body turned to ash because of the unworldly force of the demon.
Well thanks for positive feedback! I have been told I have a decent imagination, but i don't have the materials to represent it perfectly. When I am given an idea I take the opportunity to make elaborate stories. Maybe someday when i get the materials and money i will be able to create my own shorts or maybe even a movie.
i also have an idea of making little movies, but i'm rather fan of 2D, anyway it is extremely hard to start it all, i mean, you need to have a plotter, character designers, storyboards, animators, voice actors, a motion designer to make sure everything is moving correctly... (but thats for big thingies) lol fun fact, i'm learning this in school, right now we're busy with making a movie, though we're filming it, but it's still a load of work. hey instead of all doing it on your own, why don't you make something together? it's more fun and it brings more ideas into the light!
I read reviews about this animation, but they were negative. It’s strange to look at such people, because to come up with such a story is very difficult, I even know by myself. Personally, I really liked the story and the animation itself. The meaning that lies here is much deeper than we are looking at the surface. Animation can be interpreted as follows: Forest is depression, problems. The girl wants to run away from them. The animation also says that she left the camp without the knowledge of her parents. Similarly, teens with problems do not tell their parents. In the hands of Francis was a flashlight - this is the last hope. When the girl began to row to swim away from the monster, the flashlight fell into the water - she lost hope. In the end, we see a personal diary, as it were, the inner world of a person. Looking there, we saw strange pictures. This can be compared to a person with major problems. All this time in animation and not only, Francis fought, hoped, but she was not lucky. “I knocked first” - the phrase can be deciphered as schizophrenia, a split personality, or suicide. The girl could not stand the test and in the end she suffered a terrible fate.

I think it has to do with the ciggarette she threw in the water. At the beginning we were told the lake's water was so clean you could drink it straight from the lake. The ciggarette would have been the start of pollution: the 'first knock', maybe. Then whatever was in the water got angry.

Me too. i wouldn't wait there for someone to come and kill me. In the first place, i would not even do something crazy as that!

Your explanation is perfect, that was exactly what i got from it too, minus the monsters are everywhere part.
This made everything even better!

Damn that adds a whole level of extra creepiness to this

People are reading too much into the last line. "I did knock first" is pretty simple; it's like when someone unwelcome knocks before barging into a room and complains "I did knock first". It means the unwelcome creature came on board, and the knock was it's creepy way of being courteous before doing whatever terrible thing it did..
Exactly! People are attaching all of these meanings but it was supposed to be funny.

Message:
Don't go there alone,
DON'T go deeper during your darkest hours!
Learn to swim and live.
"We don't free us from our feelings, but within them"
ElRanjit Or it was a ghost that killed her for her human bones
+BMC Productions That was a good interpretation, but i think the creators intended this with some paranormal context you know? I mean, not that deep.
+starfun17 did you realize the pun you made just there?
Maggie O'Moore Lol i haven't realized..That was a pun not intended.
❤
I know this is supposed to be scary and it is but I'm just laughing thinking about this super polite lake monster like he knocked on her boat to let her know that he was gonna kill her and then he was like WELL I KNOCKED FIRST JEEZ like honestly can someone write fanfic about this v civil lake monster who just wants to be able to eat people in the most polite way possible

+정재현 actually, i'm pretty sure francis wrote it. if someone is doing something extremely risky or bad it can be considered "knocking on hell's door"
I did see this at midnight... With the lights out...
happy bandaner Nope. The video's purpose of the phrase "I did knock first" is to insert fear into it's viewers of knocking. It's psychological. If you hear knocking, it will immediately associate that with this video where the character who experienced the knocking sounds disappeared, probably killed, afterwards.

I watched this short, thinking it was a light-hearted one. It was everything but that haha~
I thought the narration would take away the mood of the story but surprisingly, it didn't. It has that urban legend sort of vibe going on (the kind when you are all huddled up together, listening to ghost stories) and the anticipation leading up to the last scene was well done!
Anyways, great job to those who made this. I'm having chills running down my spine right now :D

I watched this SO long ago and have drawn smiley faces on my knee since
Perfectly executed tie-in of narration, animation, setting and music.
telling this story at my class camping trip tonight they're gonna love it
Bree Holthus i told this to my drama club hahaha
I remember watching this in year 6 and writing about it, people were quite scared aha but very meaningful story now looking back xx
she should have answered, who is it? then the monster would have left her alone, thats why it says "i did knock first"

***** true
Anyone just guessed that there was a creature or so that was a bit pissed about the first thing she just tossed into the lake? It's home?
Then the lantern falls in and it goes "Excuse me?!"
Then she pokes around with the 'wooden things' and it gets a bit more pissed about it, not knowing that she actually was trying to leave and it itself was keeping her from doing so ....something simple as that?
Very true. Or just got p*ssed off because she threw a cigarette in the lake, and the creature's thoughts are "OH HELL NO! NOT IN MY LAKE.@

grmbl -_- is there a second part to that story? would be great to know what happened, greatly done video.
(Could represent a peaceful/tranquil/happy situation.)
- There is a girl statue under the water. (Could represent a victim)
- There is a skeleton head. (Could represent death or demise)
- There is an empty treasure chest. (Could represent false promise)
- There is a diving helmet. (Not sure what this could mean... but I often think up of life-support. It could also represent reliance.)
This is all I have found so far.
---------------------------------------------
Edit: I did think up of a possibility, that... this could be somehow related to drugs? It is my first idea.
Drugs can tend to be one of things that seem okay at first... something to get us away from people, and something to put us into this little world to be peaceful. Though, then problems start to arise. The knocking could either represent these problems, or the rising addiction to drugs. However, the girl just ignores it at first, and lets it pass.
As a result, the problems start to increase more and more... until she decides that she should try to stop. However, she is put into a situation where she cannot get out anymore... to the point where she is hooked. She cannot get out of her addiction. So she just ends up riding with it... hoping that one day it could stop.
Now, on the "clues" from the aquarium:
-The boat and tranquil sky can represent the good feelings that happen when you first take such drugs.
MrEtmer Well thought! I didn't see it that way at first, but now that you mention it, it makes sense. :)
***** Thank you. It is fun to try to decipher things~ ^w^
MrEtmer I love your reading. Here's mine:
The knocking was described, repeatedly, as though it sounded just like someone knocking to get in the door.
Anyone notice that smiley face she drew on her knee turned into a sad face at 4:39?
It just looks upside down because of the way she drew it. C:

***** think of it as a creepy pasta and the narration won't be so distraction
Elizabeth Archer I appreciate the suggestion, but frankly, considering this thing as a creepy pasta would be an insult, considering how shit most of those things are written. That's just my opinion though.(Also creepy pastas are generally a written medium where as this story is a visual/audio one)

Oh my god D:
thought about that too xD
That thought crossed my mind too
Trust me I'm an engineer
Aly Young a pretty classy creature who is against littering and always knocks first
This is similar to other theories in the comment section but here’s mine:
Like someone has already mentioned, the narrator mentioned the water is clean enough to be drinkable.
Don't go out alone.
I believe this is an anti-littering short. The knocking started as soon as she threw her cigarette into the water, in an area of nature where everything was supposed to be clean.
"I did knock first."
Guys!!! How did he know the EXACT story?! Fancis couldn't have written it soooo exact.
He murdered her...
Your Straightsexual friend Is actually heterosexual wow deep
The Question , is .
Who ?.
Bruhhhh THERE WAS NOBODY THERE MAN! IT WAS FRANCIS VOICES IN HER HEAD THAT MADE HER KILL HERSELF, SHE WAS JUST STUCK THERE WITH NOBODY THAT COULD HELP HER OR NOWHERE TO GO SO THE ONLY OPTION WAS TO END HER LIFE
Its Vicki if she killed herself how did somebody write in her journal?
@@subtopewpewpie Lol, the answer wasnt confirmed, you dont need to sound like your completely correct
And then "I did knock first" could maybe be equal to "I did warn her."
But that's just my take on the story.
that's a great view on the story, love the original opinion (not saying that other people don't have great ideas too!)
I almost shit my pants when I had to watch this in primary school 😭🙏
Please add captions so those of us who are hard of hearing or deaf can enjoy and appreciate your work, too.
I think there are subtitles, but they can mess up sometimes. So yeah, I think captions would be a good idea
There should be a version with captions and with out for those who read every thing XD
Knock Knock...
Whose there?
FRANCIS
F-Francis who?
...
Hello?
**a set of arms quickly grab my Hood and pull me into the water**
OH SHIET---
I’m rewatching this after ages because it’s still one of my favourite animations, I love psychological horrors.
Whew...
that was a wild ride...had me on the edge of my seat the whole time!
it would be amazing to see a CGI animation of lazy masquerade, doctor horror and Mr. nightmare stories here, it would be my dream *o*
YESSS
(but thats for big thingies)
lol fun fact, i'm learning this in school, right now we're busy with making a movie, though we're filming it, but it's still a load of work.
hey instead of all doing it on your own, why don't you make something together? it's more fun and it brings more ideas into the light!
molivents It has always been my dream to lend my voice for an animated shortfilm/ movie

I watched it again and this will always be a master piece.

HE IS THE ONE WHO KNOCKS.I am so happy I got a reference
I read reviews about this animation, but they were negative. It’s strange to look at such people, because to come up with such a story is very difficult, I even know by myself. Personally, I really liked the story and the animation itself. The meaning that lies here is much deeper than we are looking at the surface. Animation can be interpreted as follows:
Forest is depression, problems.
This is more horrifying than the movie "The Grudge"!!! OMFG
