I love quartz. I wear watches for fashion and for confidence. I buy what i like and make me feel good. Quartz is always ticking at close to the correct time. I can easily pick and wear whatever i want for the day without needing to reset the time and date.
I just enjoy watches in general.
I have a mechanical watch in the mail, but my other watches are quartz.

I would've expected to see a Grand Seiko or perhaps other high-end quartz watch like the Citizen Chronomaster in the list. Nonetheless, you have some amazing picks in here. One thing I love about your 'normal' watch reviews are the shots of how the pieces wear on your wrist in natural daylight. I would love to see those kind of shots in these video's as well. Keep up the great work!

Came here to say exactly this. GS grows its own quartz crystals, ages them, selects the finest (leaving the rest for Seiko) and matches them with a circuit in their quartz 9f movements, giving them accuracy that, in my experience, is even better than the stated +/-10sec./year.

@@mkyhou1160 And all supercars are crazy fast. It's the law of diminishing returns. Sure a middle-shelf quartz will get you accuracy beyond any mechanical watch, but if you want something even more accurate, or want to be the most accurate, it's going to cost a lot and take exponentially more effort to get that extra 1 percent of performance. To some, that's worth the price of entry. Besides, this video's title is "The 10 *Best* Quartz Watches", not the 10 best value for money or affordable quartz watches. It's also not just about the accuracy, the finishing and durability of the case and movement are second to none in that price bracket.

Awesome guide! Good to see some of my favorites in your best quartz list. I am afraid that series of Citizen is being discontinued (aside from the blue one), if you are interested in that Promaster Marine Diver, I would not wait around. They wear awesome but the bracelet clasp is pressed & not as good as the one on the BN0167-50H with a built in no-tools adjust while wearing diver's extension (AMAZING for anytime fine tuning!)! There is also a new TI version BN0200-56E. The Arnie is great fun, Seiko has a conversation starter there, it has my favorite Seiko dive band (or bracelet) to date (Seiko dive straps and bracelets are often uncomfortable for me)! I have a special place in my heart for Ani/Digis from G-Shocks & Protreks. Anyways great list and inspiration for future!

@@e28forever30, l have to disagree. I live in the Netherlands and many of the smaller Swiss and German brands are making solar pieces. Even the European microbrands are getting into the act. @@kobusvanhoughton352I think in a sense you've reinforced the point. The big three Japanese companies have thousands of solar models. Outside of them, there's a small handful of options. I love solar watches, your non Japan options are very limited.

@@wilsarne1253 i never said that it was a chrono nor that it had more history. In fact I said it was a simple 3 hander with a always sweeping seconds hand. That's true and that is much more interesting than a quartz chrono that is too big (to me) and doesn't have the always sweeping seconds hand. In fact I dont care for most chronos, especially those that only measure 30 or 60minutes. I never use them and I find a simple bezel of a dive watch to be even better for timing stuff all the way up to 60minutes.

And every time I pick up a quartz the battery is dead. If you're so obsessed with losing seconds a day is a problem. That would suck. My 1970 zodiac loses a minute a day. But every time I pick it up shake it a few times and it's good to go. Yeah so many cute watches but I just get tired of dealing with batteries . They are cheaper if break or lose them.

I can already say the Timex Q are way overpriced. Even the automatics using Miyota 8000 series they are overpriced. Quartz chronographs are usually using a Seiko VK movement whitch are no special at all. Any Swiss using the 😂Ronda are overpriced. I’d be surprised if you actually bought these independently, rather than having them donated for “review.”
