Thank you for your insight into this, just ordered my pair and am obviously watching all the reviews i can on the headphones. i had some sennheiser HD1's but the comfort was terrible. pinched my ears so i returned them, but the build quality and Quality Control is so amazing on those i didn't want to lose that, so i added 400$ more onto my budget and got the Amiron wireless. Now i am concerned about the quality. I will have them in a week or so and let you know if this is an issue right out of the box.
The same thing happened on my Amiron Wireless. The foam is out on both sides and some sticky coating got exposed. I stuck it back but that's a temporary fix and this really should not happen on such a piece of tech. Another problem I have is very weak bluetooth range - which I gather is an issue present on the Aventho as well. (It's like audio manufacturers sucked at tech... :P) Also numerous firmware issues that were never resolved, some of them very annoying. Bear in mind those are not that new - I have had mine since May this year, so there's no excuse for such problems in a new pair.
My Bluetooth range is not bad; 10ft or so, attenuated by walls (obviously) and driven from a Pixel XL. At the office where many, many people are using Bluetooth headphones, sometimes I experience stuttering (which my desk neighbour also experiences in his Bose) and we assume is due to congestion and cross talk in Bluetooth signals. That is when the cable comes in handy.
I returned mine for a different issue the ear pads did not seal all around my ears there was a gap at the lower back on both sides of the headphones , beyerdynamic said it could be that i have a funny shape head very strange !
@@jelle2306 I'm very careful with my stuff, so much that my friends makes fun of me for it. With that said. 3 of my DT 1770 Pro's came with distorting drivers directly from the new package, and they were definitely not used before. What do you mean since release, are they from the 80's?
Have had no problem with other brands, and I've tested a few. A "funny" thing is that my old crappy Icemat Siberia from 2007 worked perfectly fine up until 2022 when I threw them away.
£700 headphones should not have flaws, period.
Theyre hand assembled, faulty units are a thing
Thanks for letting know about that issue since those guys are in my purchase list.
Hmm.
Was looking into getting these. The Nitpicker had the same issue on his first pair.
Thanks for posting.

And? Are the Worth a buy?

I got these recently as well. I noticed the power button is mushy :( Also the power didn't turn on after charging over night.
You need to hold the power button lol
@@jelle2306 lol, I know that. I had a firmware update issue that caused my issue.
Same problem here, Beyerdynamic refused RMA.

Beyerdynamic lives on old merits. I have had 5 1990/1770's in a row with faulty drivers. Also different problems with their other headphones.
Again faulty driver in my DT 990 Pro's after about a year of use, brand new. My Icemat Siberia still works flawlessly after almost 20 years...
@Terra101 ive had a pair of dt 770 since release and they still work perfectly fine, sometimes i wonder if people just misuse their headphones
