Love these non-ANC headphones. I almost made the mistake of choosing between the B&O H95 and the Focal Bathys. Beyerdynamic doesn't stop to surprise me. Without ANC there's a way around the DSP, which allows for these to be listened with while using an external battery source. It's overall a much more intelligent design philosophy.
I bought a pair of Sony XM5s, recently. They sounded so bad I thought they were faulty. I now own a pair of Amiron wireless (the copper ones, but they're essentially the same). Thanks for the interesting review.
I find the Sony's sound quality to be to digital if that makes sense, to artificial, the only thing the Amiron wireless headphones don't have is Noise canceling, it's focused on pure sound quality 👌
@@Violent_Snow as far as I know the only Bluetooth headphone, that has a user replaceable battery is the PSB M4U8, I have those they sound pretty decent with the way PSB has voiced them, and with the Roomfeel Eq, but the Build quality and materials are not in the same league as the Amiron wireless
Part of the reason they did not include ANC is perhaps because the ANC sacrifices a good amount of sound quality, which is what this headphone is prioritizing.
Have someone give me some hints to compare with AirPods Max audio quality? (Classics, Opera, Jazz) A curious question from a beginning music appreciator
Thanks for the concise and well scripted review. It hit all the points I needed but might I suggest a mic test in future for headphones? The only thing stopping me from investing a huge chunk in these (I do like the sound quality) is whether the microphone is actually good for calls in wireless mode. If anyone has experience please do share! Thanks in advance!
I've got these, they are pretty fantastic, super comfy, they sound very good 👌 you can also listen through the USB-C, port in a pure digital connection, I have the Sony's 1000XM3, PSB M4U8, the Nuraphone, and the B&W P7 Wireless, I'm waiting for my B&W PX8 😂 to arrive so I can do a complete comparison, but overall these Amiron wireless are my second favorite, after the Focal Bathys 😉
@@PowerrayX Bathys have a bit more Air, Spacious sound, the Amiron Wireless are still a outstanding wireless headphone, they also have a natural sound, and are super comfortable.
@@PowerrayX As I thought though depending on what genre I'm listening to, I'll be reaching for a different headphone 🎧 so far I'm in ❤️ with the Bathys for 90 % of the music I listen to, the PX8 have a better bass hit for those tracks that you expect a hit, then the Bathys and the Amiron Wireless, so if I'm listening to music, like progressive trance, anything really that is bassy the PX8 feel more lively, more expressive dynamic, overall I'm the type of folk that will never have only one wireless headphone, however if you are the type of person that only listens to heavy metal, Nirvana etc the Bathys are hard to beat 👌
@@jimmycychowski1142 thx for the answer but Nirvana I don't call it metal :p it's grunge ;-) would you please test it with a song like Gamma Ray - Armageddon (remastered) on the Bathys and the Amino Wireless ? thx !!!
What sucks with a wireless audiophile headphone is the battery will go bad 2-4 years and the Bluetooth version eventually becomes super outdated. A good wired headphone will last 40 or more years.
Completely agree ! And the manufacturer might stop to provide updates to solve bluetooth issues or remove the ability to change settings for their "older" devices in mobile apps. It shouIt should be easier (and mandatory) to be able to update electronic devices. By having software update for longer and by having access to new electronics boards or schematics. Beyerdynamic is providing spare parts for old devices, aren't they ? Maybe they will be the first company to provide electronic board update for their bluetooth headphones.

Does it hane a swappable battery?
@@Violent_Snow Nope. As far as features go, there aren't many. Just great sound.

Wow thanks for reviewing this, really explains a whole lot of deal 😊 Sorry for off topic but you look like Nicholas Braun 😆✨

so you also have the Bathys ? What do you prefer for heavy-metal listening ? the Beyer or the Bathys ?

Nirvana sounds absolutely phenomenal on the Bathys 👌

I have a pair of these. Its clamping force is way too weak so that it prevents me from enjoying the quality of the sound it could actually give.
Caught myself on watching this vid about Amiron Wireless in Amiron Wireless.😅

They can be used wired and the battery can be swapped, so ur argument is pretty weak
@@-predict7443it doesn't say anything about swapping batteries

Nice work
very disappointed b the fact you can not replace the headband nor the battery. because of this they are a no-buy for me.
