If you're on Malice - do not split the worm at any cost, since Malice adds the "lower health -> more speed" thing, and it's almost impossible to survive three or four worms at a high speed. Focus on dealing damage to his head and maybe the first two segments. Yes, it's longer, but it's way safer. Save Rage for the end to oneshot him when he becomes fast, as I did in a video. Oh and also, build a large arena and kite him up and down all the time, since he loses some speed when he changes his direction. Good luck!
Good run, and awesome tips in the comments. I haven’t seen any melee Malice runs of this and was stuck for a while. For any melees out there, I found that Bladecrest Oathsword is a good option due to its piercing projectile.
