I use full recomb g6 goldor with leg blue whale (not maxed yet sadly)
I can say this is accurate. Although in reality (with all secrets) i have like 3.3m ehp i believe
about fact 4.5 it works with every merchant. For example, you can buy 640 gold from the mining merchant in the village and another 640 in the gold mine.
As an addon, the quartz blocks on the original builder shop and the decorations don't share prices or buy limits, although the second one is WAyyyy more expensive

Explanation for the Farm Merchant being a scam, a while ago when the builder got reworked, there was a perk that gave a discount for the building merchant. In turn, this means you will get a better deal on the revamped builder then on the original farm merchant.
Iirc it was only a ~20% discount, or at the very least not 65%

There’s actually multiple instances of this, most blocks that are sold at multiple merchants have different prices. You can buy gravel at pat, the builder and the mine merchant and they all have different prices!
