    • @bulldozer8950
      @bulldozer8950 2 роки тому +11

      @@zyloft2053 ya there’s some stuff about them trying to learn to navigate the areas where just the jutted bedrock terrain at y=3 ish. The goal is essentially to make a small bot army to kill players because most players use hacks/automation that means the difference between a good player and a bot end crystal fighting is nearly non existent because the player on these servers are using programs to place and detonate the crystals instantly anyway. This means the goal is more to make a group of bots that can navigate the stuff that hadn’t been well automated before that point (namely moving efficiently through the terrain of bedrock when everything until the bottom bedrock is gone) and making them act well with each other because while a one v one between a bot and player might just be a coin flip, but a 2v1 where the two bots communicate effectively is far more in favor of the bots.

    • @WaruWicku
      @WaruWicku 2 роки тому +5

      It's kind of already the case in anarchy crystal PvP. It's not AI because there is a player controlling the overall action but most of the fighting moves such as placing/breaking crystals, breaking blocks that protect the ennemy, burrowing in holes etc... are done by the client. It's pretty unwatchable but it's an interesting scene because it's really about who can code the most efficient client (and sadly, it's also about who has the best ping)

    Thank you YT algorithm :) It's pretty interesting actually, this game with almost endless possibilities is a good base for a good AI project. I wonder how the reward system will rethink when the AI has to deal with damage and risk (instead of avoiding them completely) to beat the game.

    • @techwizsmith7963
      @techwizsmith7963 2 роки тому +1

      If it can gain more points than it'll lose, that's a good trade. If there's a chance for more points than it'll lose, then maybe it'll learn to assess risk

    • @istvanbarta
      @istvanbarta 2 роки тому

      Basically, you're right, but I think in this complexity and RNG, the risk assessment is not obvious. I wonder if the AI "knows" the whole aim and risk, what playing method is it choose? Became a speedrunner or reducing the risk, it starts to prepare more? And in the end, is it became the AI's style or just the most logical/easiest way to beat the game?

    A weird think I might do that I think would be entertaining is creating my own MineRL AI in to a world and just watch to see what it does.
    I also think another fascinating thing to try is to have it learn hundreds of hours of different types of builds. From homes to farms and let it decide what to do.

    could this effectively be a blueprint bot (you give it a layout, some blocks and tools and it builds for you)?
