Omg finally someone made a video explaining it, it was so hard to to explain to people how the reaper mask was just a better menders crown. My go too explanation is that the reaper mask ability is actually the ability from the zombie heart, and that the confusing description came because they tried to shorten it to fit the other abilities.
Yeah, once there was a guy who was like "ew healer with reaper mask get a mender crown" then disconnected from the dungeon 1 second after it starts
Reaper Mask is definitely better than Fedoras since
- You can recomb it to Mythic which will give better reforge stats than recombed Fedora which is Legendary
- You lost about 120 less raw HP but get +100def, which will scale with cata level and better reforge stats will compensate for that
- 100 extra int which also scales with cata level, giving you more teleport for aote/aotv or wither shield use
hey i dont have a reaper mask now a fedora but do you know if reaper mask can take gem slots? bc i know wither goggles dont and therefore probaply fedora also not but how abt reaper mask?

aotd right click ability on some bosses
says smth like it wont work on bosses, but it damages them, but doesnt deal KB
i tried a f3 shitrun with aotd and ended up with 160 times of "this boss is immune to this kind of damage" while i still shred the minis and blood mobs with it
fel sword was fixed some time ago, now it gives 10% like it's supposed to

Don't forget ghoul pet's third ability that doubles reaper scythe zombies health that don't exist anymore because of f6
one thing people also say is "if 2 people have mask or fedora, the abilities dont stack. so one person has to use either! dont both use mask!"
you should make a video on the max mining speed and/or fortune
Honorable mention: Spicy Omelette. The item doesn't give +20 powder like the description says, but instead makes titanium drop 5 extra base mithril ore.

Idiot double stats not healing
Honestly I think the reaper mask should be buffed by a long shot. 2x healing from all sources and I mean ALL. Some new ability with reaper armor to buff the 'enrage' by getting a health and defense buff once activated. A shift and right click ability to have a 'personal' healing circle even when not healer costs prob 100 mana with a 10s cooldown. A shift and left click ability to 'bunker down' (stop moving) deal no damage but all hits have a 90% reduction cant deal damage and heal 3x healing (already with the 2x healing) for 5s costs 350 mana and has a 50s cooldown. I also think there should be some 'enrage' ability on its own for example, halve speed but have 50% more defense and hp for 15s costing 200 mana and a 20s cooldown. I also think it should have more intelligence like instead of 100 have 250 bc of all these abilities. Those are some abilities that should make the reaper mask worth buying or grinding for.
Due to the double healing itself reaper mask is worth grinding for as a tank because tanks use all sorts of healing items(zombie sword, orbs, wands, weapon for massive amounts of healing [like livid dagger for poorer tanks and sus Scylla for rich ones] are a basic part of any normal tank's hotbar),with the addition of these abilites reaper mask will be broken op lol, I suppose the can't deal damage but 3x healing and 90% dmg reduction could be added as an ability but with an even bigger mana cost
this would make it insanely broken and be by far the best helmet for healers and tanks and others who want ehp but dont need much dmg

controversial opinion: reaper mask is useless on f7 anyways, if you're a good at being a tank, you usually want to use slime hat to make stuff more consistent, healing isn't really a problem on f7 anyways
bruh tank has a no knockback perk slime hat is never gonna be good for that

at the first part it was a beheaded horror not reaper mask.... it was epic when he dropped it and reaper mask is leg(you can see by the mod that is showing item's rarity when dropped)

This video is so wrong. The reaper mask does double the healing you do to other butttttttt it do not double the healing others do to themself and the mender crown does so if you wanna play healer you should use the mender crown or the mender fedora
