WE FINALLY GOT HIM!!! Hunting The Great One On Rancho Del Arroyo! Call of the wild

- Today marks the end of a 3793 Deer grind for the Great One! Although I didn't get it with the gun I wanted to its still so nice to get this guy on the ground! We started this grind the day the great one was first released and in many ways that was the start of this channel. What was a very slow grind for the first 2700 bucks turned into the saddest moment of the grind where we found a overweight level 5 bugged whitetail. This would have been the end of our grind but since that bug existed we continued on for a few hundred more. When Rancho Del Arroyo released i started implementing Grim's ways of grinding whitetail and immediately started seeing great improvements in my whitetail herds. That combined with the much higher population of whitetail on Rancho made for a much faster grind and after only 693 bucks down we found our very first Great One.

Since im seeing this comment a lot ill put my answer here. No they have not increased great one spawns. Whats happening is a combination of thousands of players hunting whitetail at the same time and alot are using Grim's methods. That combined with the fact they are not bugging out into overweight diamonds anymore is causing more to show up. This is always the way they were but before this update so many people had their turn into an overweight diamond or a bugged level 4 or 5. Now that they are finally working we are actually seeing them pop up how they were meant to!

There are 3 of great one's rack the best in my opinion. It's a 630+ scoring, 408 that I got a few days ago, and my favourite is 330+ if I remember correctly, and I just want to get all of them for my dream whitetail huddle.
Also congrats bro on getting two of great ones, hope you will get more of them with a different rack.

Yoooooo Croooooow!!!! (The Ball Python Project) here. I just spawned in a great one on ps4!!!! Will share some pics on discord soon... It is the big rack and a crazy story to go with it. Spawns in, I miss my initial shot over his back, almost hitting spine. I reset time 3 times before the herd, let alone the great one, would spawn back. But i got him with my fav gun the 7mm!!!! So stoked!!!!

I may sound a bit ignorant here but I really don't understand what is so much more effective about Grims methods? I've seen videos about and as far as can understand the method is just to shoot big deer. But surely that's just relying on there being big whitetail on your map in the first place? I'm not doubting these methods but i'm just a bit confused.

I know you are doing grims method but would love to see a video on how you went about it. As in how many zones did you unlock, how many heards you are hunting, how often are you reseting your time after doing your zone rotation
