Great demo Chad; just remember to mention checking oil pressure. I witnessed what happens to an Allison C30 when it is started without oil.
    Expensive

Yes you are right i did this without a checklist and there are a few things that i forgot to mention although i have done these things without thinking.
One other worth mentioning is to ensure the stick is in the control lock in the case of a wind gust knocking your hand off the starter and the wrong moment but j had my foot holding the stick and there wasn’t much wind that day, but definitely something to be aware of

Can i ask what brand/type of battery you have onboard? Bus voltage holds a nice 20Volts then the engine N1 stabilizes at 15% before ignition and seems that does not drop below 17-18Volts momentarily when the starter-gen is enabled. Thanks! :)

Thanks for the video! Curious why the boost pump on during shutdown? Never heard of that in any other turbine

Im not an engineer but i have been told it lubricates the shafts while the prop is still turning.

Hi, thanks for the cool vid. I don’t know much about Ag aircraft. Can you tell me what the flashing red LED dash instrument is called and what it’s used for (unless the name says it all)? Thanks 👍

      Gday mate thanks for watching
I think you mean the light bar on the top of the panel, this is used for guidance when we are spraying to show us where the line is and help us to keep the aircraft going in a straight line. This system is a satloc we have since moved to tracmap who i think has changed their name to Tabula.
      Hope that clears that up
      Cheers
