It was set to a kick drum setting but I edited the crap out of it to make it sound like a bass drop, this is just a really cheap way of doing a bass drop. I now use a Roland Spd-s. It's the best way to go, I know it costs a lot of money but you get better bass drops and effects out of it. You could also search Craigslist or Ebay for some cheap ones. This way works^^^ But it's just not the best way of doing it.
Hey man what settings did you use on the Kick Drum setting. Been trying to much around with all the settings but can't get it to sound like yours. Cheers.
+geetar72 they are called an 808 bass drop or sub drop or sun destroyer but now a producer made a plugin called a sub destroyer that makes 808 bass drops but in the metalcore world there are 3 major things used that are under 808 two of which are very popular over drives ibanez ts808 and Maxon od808 so to do a way with confusion when someone says 808 because they could be talking about three things, the metal industry stopped calling it an 808. But any other industry calls it the 808
how did you transfer the bass drop sample onto the drum modul? i have a dtxprees, it´s pretty similar to the dtxplorer, but i never found out how to put my own samples onto it, maybe you can help me :>
Yo! Hey man what sample on this module are you using for the bass drop and is there a way to add more sustain? Example: Motionless in White - Immaculate Misconception
@geetar72 I think "808" is the "professional" or "official" name for a bass drop. Like, at a studio or something they may call it an 808, but at a show people would be like, "Dude, that was a crazy bass drop!" or something LOL. But yeah, that's how I think of it.

I have the same kit module but cant tell which sound you're using on it. Would you mind filling me in? Thanks.
The cheapest way to use bass drops live if you already own a laptop, is to hook your pad to your laptop input and use the program APTrigga
