@scenepointjudge::: I put the H4n on the ground a few feet away from the drum kit, facing the kick drum. Used the input "Drum Compressor" setting and I put the microphone cover on it, I later threw the audio into Logic Studio Pro and adjusted the EQ and added the 808s.

Mic the snare and kick with the inputs and use the 2 external mics for the symbols if indeed you're using the h4n .. Sounds really good that way .. Don't know why people are shitting on you here. It's not like you're trying out for something it's just a UA-cam vid. Sounds good

ehhh, right to a certain extent, this guy isnt half as bad as alot of other kids ive seen though, the fills were very impressive to me, even though they are simple, atleast most of what he played was really clean, plus this video is old.
That snare looks uncomfortably low (in my opinion) But hey, everyone's kit is set up to their own liking. It doesnt seem to be an issue for you. Keep it metal dude.

Finally someone who has some creativity on the kit. I'm sick of seeing people who play the most boring beats and fills. I'd be honoured to even jam with this guy lol.
