Rory Bremner is a supremely talented man. It's a shame he no longer appears on television. X

I just discovered Bremner. He's hilarious as Blair and as Brown. I'll have to watch more of his stuff.

A very good 90s parody by Rory Bremner. Summed up Blair's almost "Messianic" image in 1997-2000, after decades of Conservative government.

YEAH---WHAT A CON, AND WE ARE STILL, SUFFERING FROM HIM AND HIS GOVERNMENT.

This is way later than that, the sane session he's having a dinner with Brown. In this dinner he's just stepping down and talking in a funny way about his book.

Thanks for putting this up. I remember watching it just after the 1997 election. Rory Bremner had Blair rumbled from the start! Best quote: 'and so if it all goes wrong, it won't be our fault, it'll be their fault!'

"The people, they elected us, they took the risk and if it all goes wrong it won't be our fault it'll be there fault"....satire so often reflects reality

Love all of his imitations but the most hilarious one will have to be his imitation of Michael Howard.

Iraq would have happened no matter who was in power. Perhaps Major, being a good man with some concept of restraint might have stopped it but I think they would have forced him out of office before it started or blackmailed him.

I like him walking on the water at the end. Hard to believe now but back then people thought he was some sort of messier. The golden boy who could do no wrong. There's that famous comment by Blair's spin doctor Alister Campall when he said 'we don't do God.' which was made at the time. I hope the Blair rots in hell.

Good old Whitestone Pond in Hampstead - ahh those were the days. London in the 90s seemed so much better than the congested, over-commercialised London of today.

@drav1dan and how much Blair enjoyed doing just that to Bush's backside when he was PM.

Oh how we do regret having voted you in Mr Blair. You've left this country a poorer nation both financially and morally. Were certainly picking up the mess you have so generously left behind. Millions of peoples in Iraq would alive today if we had not been hoodwinked into voting you in back in 1997.

Well, he certainly had the phoniness of Blair and New Labour pegged. On the other hand, few of us were prepared for the absolutely rotten future that lay ahead. Thatcher commented that her greatest achievement was Tony Blair. And she was dead right.

There is not an ounce of sincerity in Blair, or should I say "Calamity Blair". Nothing but a born loser, me I'm a born winner, just like my spiritual boss (you know who he is). I won't be meeting Blair in this life or indeed in the next one. Just ignore him. Lots of love, Andrew X
