    One question: ive got zhe sigma 18-55 and a sony 11f1.8. Would you say that the 16mm of the 10-18 are as sharp as the sigma prime lens? I always wonder how much of a difference it would make.

    will have to give this combo another shot. I tried this lens with my a6000 and was not impressed. thought I was not a zoom guy. but had my hands on an A7C with a Sigma 28-70 in Japan and was shocked when I opened the images on my PC. didn’t look special during shooting but vastly better quality on the big screen. maybe that mainly has to do with the newer technology though.

    Hey, I have a question: I want to get into photography and wanted to know if you can recommend the Sony a6400. I mainly want to photograph (also film) landscape and wildlife. And I would also be interested to know what kind of lens you could recommend for this. I first thought of a lens that would give me a wide angle, but also allow me to zoom a bit, so that later I could look for a telephoto zoom lens for more zoom (after which I had a good time with the other one setup). Thanks already!

      @@thaticelandicguy I got interest in photography very recently. Since then I was learning about photography and researching about camera and equipment. Hence my UA-cam got filled with many photography related contents. Including yours. I really started loving street photography. I graduated from my college recently and don't have a budget to buy a camera rn. Now I'm using my smartphone to shoot and learn. I wish to buy one camera soon. I think buy a used one is better to start , what do you think ? and which camera you would suggest for me as a beginner ? Canon or Nikon or Sony ?

    • @CDeeez94
      @CDeeez94 5 місяців тому +3

      @@AbanRoby Hey man, if you haven't already bought your first camera yet, I have some advice for you. This is coming from a guy who was like you once: straight out of college, wanted to take better/cool photos with a "real" camera that I thought would take better photos than my phone, and was interested in which camera to start with. I've been doing things like street and lifestyle photography as a hobby for about 5 years now and I will give you the most advice I can give in the shortest amount of time to hopefully save you *money* *time* and *energy* and get you started on the right foot.
      - There's A LOT that goes into photography and videography...and I mean A LOT. When you purchase your first camera, _be patient_ with both the camera and yourself as a photographer. You're probably gonna think to yourself: "My photos don't look like [insert UA-cam photographer here]s photos." The reason is that it's gonna take time to understand the concepts of exposure, composition, and editing.
      - Start with a camera like the one used in this video. I'm a little biased, but I've shot with Sony for 3 years and I've gotten great photos and video out of the 2 cameras that I owned from them. This one is APS-C, not full-frame and full-frame isn't something you necessarily _need_. I'd also just get one good lens and learn to take photos with what you have. There are plenty of good lenses and Sony is compatible with 3rd party lenses, (unlike Canon). On that same note, I've used Canon too and even though they only use their own lenses, I've gotten great results from them as well.
      - Try to find ways to use your camera as much as possible. A big problem that happened when I got my first camera is that I used it for like a day or two and then it just kinda collected dust because I didn't know what else to shoot or do with it. Don't let that happen to you, _find inspiration_ with your camera. If you're not traveling a lot, find ways to photograph your community or the area you live in. These kinds of videos should help you out a lot.
      There's A LOT to learn if you want to get into photography seriously, but it's an art form of patience. Everyone who's gotten good at photography started somewhere and didn't take the best pictures when they started. Getting good takes time, commitment, humility, and consistent learning. If you feel like there's a concept you might be missing or weak in, go re-learn it until you get it right.
      I really hope this helps and sorry if it's a little long. I just read your comment and remembered how I felt when I first got into this stuff too. I spent a lot of money I shouldn't have because I was convinced I'd be a "complete" photographer if I had a certain camera and that's far from the truth. Yes, some cameras and lenses blow others out of the water, but the most important thing to remember is how good of a photographer/videographer you can be with the equipment you have and _that_ is what will keep you going. Hope you have a good time getting into this hobby 👍
