@@brandonabbott69 thank you!
The setup I used was Sony A6700 and the Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 :) Small and powerful 🔥
Like yours content!
I love that calm and peaceful city vibe in Reykjavik 😍 Thanx, man! Need more)))
very nice!. great video.
Perfect for watching in the background at work
thank you :) Yea I like to watch these types of videos too
@@thaticelandicguy it's always great to see people how they utilize their gear and visions differently when doing street photography
Do you mind sharing how you take care of your camera and lenses? Since you are always at such cold place, there might be condensation issue whenever entering warm indoors from outdoors or battery life short at outdoors in very low temperature.. Thank you
Ahh I don't lol, you shouldn't do as I do, but to me I think of these like tools to get the shots I want. Luckily I haven't broken any camera badly but I should probably take better care of it
@@thaticelandicguy oh wow that's surprising haha. However do you face any condensation issues after you went home from let's say, an outdoor shoot? I believe the cameras and lenses are mostly weather sealed but I did saw some people warning others bout this
@@AxelqiqiI don’t live somewhere that cold but generally when you come somewhere hot you just wrap the camera in sumthing and you’ll be fine
@@Axelqiqi Hi, just sharing my experience here. My a6600 and 18-50mm combi fogged up when i entered the warm room 24DegC after taking pictures on the balcony in 5degC for aobut 30mins. the lens fogged up from the inside and no amount of wiping helped. I left it alone for about an hour and it cleared up, thankfully worked well afterwards.
Following that episode, I made sure to put the camera in a air tight zip lock bag ie the type for food storage and it solves the condensation problem. Just be patient to wait for it to adjust its temperature, remember to remove battery and sd card if you want to look at pics immediately.
Hope this helps
My man doing the work!
Getting after it 🤝🏻
I really enjoy your street photography videos. I'm sure they are a lot of work, but they are so relaxing and educational.
I love Iceland, this brings back so many good memories. Can't wait to visit again, lovely shots
It really is a great place and thank you!
Nice video! Question, when shooting this type of photo like run & gun, what settings you use (Aperture Priority, Shutter, etc)? Or you go all manual? I'm a complete beginner and would love to know your approach! Thanks and keep it up! 😀
I love when you do POVs, too good! 💯📷
Thank you king 👑
Thank you for this video. I was studying the whole time!
Great shots my man! Do you usually shoot in manual when walking around or adjust the settings for every shot? I would think it would be easy to keep ISO, shutter speed constant and just adjust the f stop per shot
The images are fire man! Just grabbed a cup of coffee and put the video up on the big screen to enjoy!
thank you martin!
I Went to Reykjavik in March and it was nice to see the city again, nice photos man, good work! 🔥🔥
Didn't expect the "rawness" of this POV shot without music and commenting (expect one time :) can feel so engaging!
Great job as always my friend!
I'm waiting for snow since weeks to do a POV b/w film photography video, but looks like it won't come :')
For now I did one with Kodak Gold and now unfortunately have to wait for the lab, since I don't develope and scan myself. Normally these kinds of videos can be don't with shooting and editing within 1-2 days even for me, but with film it's a different story :D
yea I often have a little music, but I thought why not just do just the sound of the streets. And yea lol I just remembered that shop when I walked past hahah x)
Looking forward to seeing your film video!
Beautiful work you are a amazing photographer and inspirational.
Appreciate that ☺️
I love these videos 😊
Thank you 🙏🏻
Amazing POV! ✨👌 The sound used is straight out of the action cam, or where do you place your mic? 😁
thank you! Straight out of the osmo 4 :)
@@thaticelandicguy awesome! thanks! 🤝
more of these please!! then take us into lightroom and edit some of your favourites
couple questions from someone who loves photography but doesnt even own a camera lol.
1. does your editing preset add grain or is it that the camera has high noise?
2 in 0:19 do you need a shutter speed that high? or is a much slower shutter speed doable?
thanks!
this question is for anyone who can answer btw not just the creator of the video
no dude camera is just great, grains are creator's effect, and for 0.19, it's subjective but I think if he would have used slower speed than that for like 1/250/320/400, iso could be managed with like 200 or so or could have used apperature like f6/8, you know, at least that's what I think, if anybody could explain me why he does so, I'll appreciate it, thanks
I own the same setup so sick to work with this powerful combo !!
superb!
Very nice Vid bro as always :)
do you think the Sony E 16-55mm f/2.8 G lens is a better option ? 😄
thank you! It's a slightly better lens I think, but it is bigger and more expensive :)
Serious question, how is the EVF on this? I’m 53, and wear glasses so I would need to use both the LCD screen and the EVF. Cool video btw. Very relaxing.
it's alright, not the best, but not the worse :)
Do you use an external mic on these videos or just the mic that the Osmo action uses? Great video!
I need to get myself an external mic, it's just the audio in the osmo action 4. Works great except when it's windy, then it' super bad.
Hey great video to gain some insights! May I what settings do you use to adjust the ISO and shutter speed as the sun is setting (or do you do this manually) ?
I lovely this video, amazing places and town
Love how you didn’t bother with either the beep or the mechanical shutter lol
People where I live would absolutely fight you over it
let them come fight me 😂 i got this
@@thaticelandicguy We got this** 😂🤘
@@Your_Egyptian_Papi hahah yes papi!
@@thaticelandicguyXD
Am I correct assuming you shoot in Aperture Priority? If So how do you keep your ISO and SS at bay?
Yea in run and gun I shoot in aperture priority with the exposure slightly underexposing to protect my highlights.
I then have everything else manual and I use the iso to make sure the shutter speed doesn’t go to low. If I see it’s getting to dark and it’s dropping very low then i bump up the iso.
However if I have a specific photo in mind, it’s maybe even planned and maybe maybe I even have a tripod. Then I go full manual for maximum control, both of the camera and the desired look.
Hope this helps ☺️
Cool so you set iso and SS manually (as opposed to using the camera settings to control them e.g. min SS with auto iso)
@@angelogrieco I adjust my apeture and iso manually :) in a run and gun envorioment
He has a great video on his street setup
I just wanna know what gloves you use to not get cold.
A question: Is Tracking : Expand flexible spot focus area available when using animal eye af? Or only with human eye af, like on the a6600?
Same question about the a7cii and the a7IV... if you have experience with them.
Thanks
I'm not sure, but the camera is equipped with some really good af systems that can af on so many different types of subjects
What action cam do you use for the POV? Nice quality videos
Now I think that I’m gonna cop this combo. Should I go with the a6700 or the less expensive a6400, if I’m planning to use it professionally in the future? Is it worth the extra cost? I’m mostly planning on doing street photography😊
Btw. Really like these types of videos!
professionally I wouldn't use either because there's only 1 card slot. You need 2 card slots. Just for street photography go with the a6400. If you want video too a6700.. it blows away any of the other a6 cameras because it's so new. A6600 came out like 4 years ago
Please! After all this nice relaxing video, (idea for a new video) could you explain to me how to use lightroom? Thank you!! Because I have no problems with how to take photos, but I don't know how to post-produce them
I have so many lightroom tutorials on this channel :) But sure more are coming my friend!
Did U use 3 microphone?, one near the boots. one on Ur wrist, and one at on Ur neck?
No 😂
not many tourist😊 great shots
Yes, thanks!
Do you recommend the 85 mm 1.8 sony with the a6700 ??
the full frame lens?
@@thaticelandicguy yes
The GOAT from 2017
NIce photos...you missed taking a shot of Valdis...
next time!
Can i ask what gloves did you use in this video?
sure thing! Just some random north face gloves I have that work on screens like my phones and shit :)
У тебя gopro?
dude idk, whenever i see a6700 videos im rarely impressed by the photos, like i feel like the a6600 ones from povs were always better, cleaner, more contrast, sharper
Auto mode or no?
when in run and gun I most often shoot aperture priority :)
@@thaticelandicguy Alright. Thanks.
#REYKJAVIK RZECZYWIŚĆIE REYKJAVIK
Reykjavik indeed!
Am I the only one who can't shoot via the live view and have to use a viewfinder? I get camera shake even at higher speeds if I don't have the camera firmly pressed against my face haha
for real? x)
probably just resistance to shoot liveview on my part @@thaticelandicguy
WE JUST WANT SOMETHING WHICH IS NOT OVEREXPOSED AND OVERSATURATED MANNN, always like this
My guy having an ok day? I personally just like colourful photos 🤘🏻
@mrvlacp I'm sure you will make some epic NOT OVEREXPOSED AND NOT OVERSATURATED photos with your Sony A6700 right? Yeah...
Too much photos, not enough of thinking what u are actually photographing.
I cant stand why people keep the focus sound, its so anoying
