@@NedRush Ned, i'm pretty sure i'm still hearing impedance mismatch issues. To record it properly I highly suggest using a direct box, definitely take a look into it if you use guitar enough to justify the price. You can then also run the recorded signal back into the amp and tweak the sound while your best take is playing. It's called reamping. Love the channel, keep it going! ;D
This has a criminally low amount of likes, this is so much info and effort, thank you so much for making this, I think this is like the 3rd time I’ve come back to this video throughout my years trying to make music
Re: Around 41 Minutes. I'm quite sure Ned knows this, but for benefit (maybe) of others -- in order to use the Dual channel mode on the Amp sim you also have to have the output of the Cabinet sim(s) set to Dual or stereo as well. A stereo signal needs to be fed into the Amp, but that can possibly be done with guitar (generally mono) by introducing some kind of stereo effect before it. These videos are great, even when you're aware of most of these techniques, quite inspiring. I seem to come out of each one with some new avenue to persue. Thanks Ned!
Thank you so much! I recently began playing the guitar, and I initially opted for the Bias FX 2 plugin. It served its purpose well, particularly in helping me explore various pedals and grasp the concept of the signal chain. However, I soon came to realize that depending on third-party plugins had its downsides. Ableton seemed a bit intimidating with all its intricacies. You've done an exceptional job by providing an enlightening tour and demonstrating how to craft an impressive guitar sound. I absolutely adore your enthusiasm and sense of humor! P.S. Fantastic music on Spotify!
A quick trick I use if I have a mic that picks up sound from one instrument is to sidechain it. it's great for this type of video recordings or live streams.
Dude, I'm actually quite impressed by you guitar chops :D I would've really enjoyed seeing you explore that rabbit hole you opened up around 53:00! Great video as always Ned
Firstly, you are so talented, dude. Guitar too? Good on you, wow. Secondly, maybe use a foot pedal to mute the mike when it suits you to have it muted and your focus is elsewhere? An idea. Thirdly, I just bought a KEYtar-- it was a strange decision, but I'm loving it. How about a video making guitar sounds *with no guitar*, building upon what you just showed us (tho I'm still watching, doodlydoodlydoooo)? One day I'll be a supporter, but I'm working on supporting me still. I love your videos, thanks so much for being you. Cheers.
I love Ableton Live but the worst guitar tone I’ve ever heard. Might sound good on a synth or other instruments but this doesn’t cut it. Time to get a third-party plugin. Even a free one like the Fluff 5153.

Proceeds to play 'Devil Woman' by Cliff Richard 😆
I thought it sounded familiar.

Today i learned Ned is a much better guitarist than me.
It was bothering me so bad that he had the bottom cabinet muted without noticing for an extended period of time lol 😆 but awesome video!

I absolutely love this! Can you please do the same with a classical guitar in both traditional and experimental level?
Always surprising with great tutorials, thanks a lot
Awsome playin' ned, relly enjoy your vids :D , inspired me to try make a guitar songo thingy!
You're welcome to play in my rockband any day 🙂🎸😎
Thanks for this one! Really interesting!! 👌
Cool! Didn't know you could shred! Cheers!
I don’t really shred, I do widdle.
how did you group the amp and the cabinet
How are you hearing effects without latency?

More like… “Shred Rush”.
Tune in for another episode of “Ned forgets that he clicked something, and then calls the whole thing ‘a little bit shit’”. ;)
Kidding by the way… you could try to sample a potato and I’d watch the whole thing.
@@SIQN- Now I really wanna see him sample a potato. Thank you for that.
@@BrapAllgood I don’t know exactly how he could… but I want to see it, too.
I’m not going to sample a potato. That’s just silly.
Cool! But am I crazy, or did you forget to turn on the chain with the far-away mic?
Yes I did. Please read the description. 😊
Can you tab all this out for me Ned RUSH?
