I love their! As a camera addicted aspiring experimental filmmaker this is exactly what I’ve been searching for! Hope to see more from you in the future.
Thanks! Getting into experimental film and it helps a lot. This gave me the idea to test different audio recording devices (such as old mp3 players, flip phones, etc.)!
It started when I was at film school (many years ago). Now I have a passion for it because it is a genre anyone with a bit of gear can do. The industry locks a lot of people out due to the commercial nature of it, but art based film, like experimental, is more inclusive. I also love the poetic nature it has - my own work probably is more poetical than technical when it comes to this genre.
@@jubyrez435 Where do you show your films? The only experimental film I've every seen for public display was in an art gallery on a continuous loop. I have considered experimental photography. I'm a traditional artist. I have had a Nikon 510 for years and didn't think about using it for video until recently when I wanted to make a art related UA-cam video.😄 I thought that considering the age of the camera it may not make video or would be of poor quality. I was surprised.
I screen work in galleries and film festivals- it depends on the film. Often I choose the camera for the quality it provides. A low resolution camera will look a certain way blown up, pixelated or blurred, but you might want that, so it’s not about how high end the camera is but what type of image it will give you. A bit like choosing a type of paint or brush.
