That still comes through with the new exhaust - sounds insane. I highly recommend the mod if you want to maintain the sound profile but have it louder. It also gives you the ability of closing the valves when needed.👍

Nice POV. With the valves open can you drive it around light on the throttle and not attract too much attention? When taking it easy it doesn’t seem to sound too much louder than stock with the exhaust value plugs unplugged.

Actually I think this is too loud for outside of the car, as you normally wanna cruise inside of populated areas like inside cities etc. Here in Germany (actually this gets more often all over Europe!) there are many bigger cities already, where there are loudness-zones and 30kmh-speedlimit-zones because of noise and emissions. Such a car would never be allowed to drive thrugh there and you would imediately be stopped by the police and your car confiscated and you would have to pay huge fines for that... So no modified exhausts to make cars this loud in cities, it's even possible that you wont even be able to drive with such a exhaust at all because of TÜV here, which regulates even the noise the car is allowed to do at a specific RPM at max DB....
Yes I can understand. Most European countries have these types of regulations. But there are many manufacturers that produce and sell similar components for the Euro and NA markets, such as Novitec, which in fact is located in Germany. I guess you'd only be able to drive on highways with that. With my exhaust, you can still close the valves and it would be considerably quieter
Hi Rich. I was wondering where you purchased your exhaust and which kit did you actually order (part numbers?? cat back, cat delete, tips or no tips?) And was it bought/installed local there or did you have to order it online? Has it ever caused a check engine light to come on? How much did it cost? Can you drop a link in a reply or add to comments someplace? Any trouble installing it or pretty much remove stock, bolt on new? Were you able to program the remote in the 2nd or 3rd buttons of your car's home link mirror so you can just open and close the valves with your home link buttons and leave the remote at home? After opening the valves do they stay open after parking over night or do you have to open them every time you start the car? Sry, lotsa questions. I been eyeballing this exhaust and getting close to pulling the trigger for my lc...currently driving mine with the valves unplugged, but still wanting louder. I like the ability to close the valves though so the wife will not say anything about it being too loud (as if there was such a thing...) Was hoping to find one a little closer to $4K than $5K but that doesn't seem to be reality. Thanks for any replies you can provide. Not much you can do to boost power since the ECU still hasn't been cracked. Tuned by LOI claims he has cracked the ECU, so maybe it's a possibility if he did in fact crack it

Yes, but look at the LFA, RC-F, GS-F, IS500, IS-F.....all these relatively loud exhausts. Moreover, my exhaust is valved, so I can close the valves if I want a more quiet experience.

@inrussian I wouldn't purchase this car for practicality. It's more for long-distance fun drives that can hold 2 people and carry their carry-on luggage.

Exhaust is about $5k, and most likely will void the warranty on the exhaust system of the vehicle.
