Agreed! You sound great man. I'm a filmmaker and have this audio setup and was curious how it would sound recording music like this, thanks for the demo!
Hi there. I recently also experimented with my Rode Go mics. I was very impressed how easy and little fuss it was. Will go and import the files into Cubase to see if usable in studio recordings. So far with some EQ and a few tweaks I don’t see why not 😊. Thanks for confirming the good sound you also get, and I agree, you have no reason to apologise for your playing or singing. Keep going. God bless
Yep - you'll notice a lot of positive comments below - take note! I struggle to find my own voice, but yours sounded very 'real', and complimented the songs. Much appreciated the demo - I'm going to give it a go myself...
Amazing! You remind me of my dad, who is also a guitarist. I am trying to finally release my own music. I love writing my own songs. I also have the Rode Wirelesa Go II. Thank you so much for making this video ❤
you are a great player and your authentic voice is all we want to hear ;) the review is great too. just got some on the way and looking to see how i can use them
Loved this video my friend! Great review and explanation of this product and the guitar playing/singing on your part sounded fantastic! Keep making music! ♥️🙌
Thank you for a great review I was looking for. I also agree with guys here, first coming to my mind: leave doubts about your talent. I also play guitar and also am shy to play publicly, even tho my closest circle telling me its great. So I feel you. Anyway, showing me this mirror, you are amazing and you should keep going!! Stand proud. ❤
Good no nonsense review, seems like a great solution for your use case, and it sounds great! Have you ever tried using this sort of thing live? I'm wondering if at medium volumes this would be fine in a room with a PA, or if it would just feed back like crazy
👍🏻Well done, mate. Nice demo, playing and singing! Exactly what I wanted to know: how good THIS combination sounds. Only thing I have probs to "believe" is "just 6 dB" of compression. It sounds like MUCH more. did you mean "compression inside your post prod DAW"? might there be some default limiting / compression in the Røde module/s? Or was your RX10 on "Automatic leveling"? anyway: thanks loads! greetinx to Norway! ✊🏻
Thank you for the video ! I see you're a Martin guitar lover too! Beautiful 000 -28 , i have a D-18 and a 000-15m , if i could have the money , i would have every models ahah once you go Martin you never go back
Excellent demo. Do you get any leaking issues? Or do you recommend any settings for the one connected to the guitar. Do you think this would work in a high pitch instrument like a violin without getting distortion?
I'm thinking of purchasing these rode mics. You explain things very well. What kind of mic do you have on the guitar? Very nice demo and explanation 👌. Thank you.
Great video and good singing and playing. Are you able to isolate the guitar and vocals from the alternate mic to control the 2 tracks independently? Or is it that each mic captures like 30-40% sound from the other mic?
Dear Are, great, thank you! This was so helpful - exactly what I was looking for :-) what I didn't get (but maybe you mentioned): so, you used a Rode Wireless Go II SINGLE?? Correct? And 2 Rode Lavalier Microphones? Right? Thank you for replying! Many regards :-)
Are you recording your voice and guitar on mono setting or split? Im guessing its on split as you mentioned left and right channel while talking about the mics. If so , could you explain how you get the audio files to not remain left and right in the final video, your post production method to merge them and also how you can balance each signal before merging them
I know this is an old video. I hope I get a reply. But this is exactly what I need. Question. Will these work to just play my acoustic instrument into a PA (Bose speaker) For live performances? I don’t need to record. Just be on stage, lavalier attached to the instrument and play through the speaker? Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Hello, thank you for the video! Instead of recording, if I want to play live, how can I get the sound to a speaker? (The speaker had wireless option as well as TRS and XLR connections).
Dear Åre. In this video, you are using the lavalier microphone. But I would very much like to use one transmitter for vocals and plug the other tramsmitter directly into my guitars and thereby use the guitars' electronics to shape the sound. Do you know of a way to plug the transmitter directly into the jackstick of: 1) An electric guitar 2) A Semi/Acoustic guitar
Hei Bjarke - yes, I tried, and it worked. It doesn't work with all pickups, but it worked with mine on my acoustic guitar. Just get the right adapter and give it a shot. I do however prefer the sound when recorded directly to the microphone, not via a pickup (mine is a L.R.Baggs Anthem),
Ahh, I found connecting cables, both with and without a locking nut. A search revealed that the cable type needed is called "3.5mm to 1/4 inch instrument cable".
Hey man... you're a great singer and a great player - leave the put downs to others who you can always ignore - you can't ignore yourself ☺️
Does his guitar has an built in cable jack plug in?
It does have a sound hole mic, that I added - with cable routed to the jack. But it wasn't in use here.
Agreed! You sound great man. I'm a filmmaker and have this audio setup and was curious how it would sound recording music like this, thanks for the demo!

Nice demonstration! You are a great guitarist. This is exactly what I wanted to see the Rode wireless Go do
-my man.. please, start bein' kinder to yourself... we love you, out here... you start loving you, too... be kind to yourself !!!!
Yep - you'll notice a lot of positive comments below - take note! I struggle to find my own voice, but yours sounded very 'real', and complimented the songs. Much appreciated the demo - I'm going to give it a go myself...

love your singing
The mic sounds great. Guitars and singing is also beautiful! Thank you
Loved this video my friend! Great review and explanation of this product and the guitar playing/singing on your part sounded fantastic! Keep making music! ♥️🙌
those mics do sound pretty nice, going to a different room made such a huge difference! your songs gave me goosebumps, wonderful playing and singing🙂
Bro you're great! Great player and great singer! And your English is on point ;) Keep up the great work!
This is exactly what I need for recording my acoustic guitar, thank you!
Excellent video my friend and good playing. This is exactly what I wanted to know. Just bought the mics, can’t wait to try them.
Excellent choice for the song man! I reckon it's one of the best love songs ever written.
I just like this guy.
thanks, solid demo! Sound recording and editing technology get so overwhelming indeed
Excellent! I would get the vocal mic higher on your shirt. You might see what the onboard mic sounds like clipped onto your collar too.
This video was everything I needed to hear! Thank you so much :) loved you from the start of the video!
Thanks Buddy, this helped 👍 Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
These have a built in compressor and can´t be disabled, hence the breathing noises , having said that , sounds great
Thanks a lot! I was looking for a simple and mobile setup just like this. Much love!
Beautiful song, playing, singing. Thanks for the demo!

honestly sounds reawlly good, man
You sing and play very well. Thank you for putting this informative video.. keep jamming. Microphones sound👌 great as well
Fantastic
One more thanks for the demo and short explanation.
You're not a bad singer at all!
you are the man! finally beat video & you sound fire! all killer no filler mahalo from hawaii bradda🌊🌞🤙⚡️
voice sounds fire & sick playing too
Thanks very much. Yours is a great demonstration. I was looking for a video like this.
Thank you so much, sir. This is just what I need.
Good no nonsense review, seems like a great solution for your use case, and it sounds great!

👏🏻🕊✌🏻🫵🏻 well done my friend! Great demo!
This is a fantastic video - thx so much - I love simple solutions ! 👍👍👍
exactly the review I needed. thanks!
So humble. nice video.

anyway: thanks loads!
greetinx to Norway! ✊🏻
Yes, that's what I meant. I can't remember the post prod steps right now, but I know that's what I referrred to.
sounds good in all ways
Thanks for your #test ! #Sounds great ! Think i get me these ones too! Cool #Song ! #Greets
Thank you for the video ! I see you're a Martin guitar lover too! Beautiful 000 -28 , i have a D-18 and a 000-15m , if i could have the money , i would have every models ahah once you go Martin you never go back
Sounds pretty good! :)
Nice demo, thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Sounds awesome mate. 🙏🏻
I’d imagine 12’s are what you want on the 00 or triple 0 size Martins. Sounds nice.
Thanks so much for this review and for the good tune! You are good! ;)
Kult.
Godt jobba! ..og spelt ...som vanlig. Takk!
sooo good
What editing software / DAW did you use for these two demo songs? Sounds great!! I will surely be adding this to my wish list.
this i like.
Excellent demo. Do you get any leaking issues? Or do you recommend any settings for the one connected to the guitar. Do you think this would work in a high pitch instrument like a violin without getting distortion?
Very nice ! Man I need this setup so bad. Who wants to deal with mic stands, yuck !
I'm thinking of purchasing these rode mics. You explain things very well. What kind of mic do you have on the guitar? Very nice demo and explanation 👌. Thank you.
Doing great .........👍🏾
Like number 100! You have a wonderful voice man
Great video and good singing and playing. Are you able to isolate the guitar and vocals from the alternate mic to control the 2 tracks independently? Or is it that each mic captures like 30-40% sound from the other mic?
Very nice demo and sound. You play and sing very well - give yourself some more credit :-)
Thanks!
Sounds great! Do you know if you had a 1/4" to 3.5mm TRS cable if you could plug directly from guitar output jack into one of the transmitters?
You can, I do that. BTW, I'd never glue a tape to my guitar and his nice Martin didn't deserve it neither :).

Im guessing its on split as you mentioned left and right channel while talking about the mics.

If they are on split in R and L, maybe use audacity to merge? I use this when I use my Zoom with two channels. Don't know if it's the best way tho 🤷
I know this is an old video. I hope I get a reply. But this is exactly what I need. Question. Will these work to just play my acoustic instrument into a PA (Bose speaker) For live performances? bra jobben! takk for dette! 👏🏼
awesome vid and music mahaloo! what was the mic extension cable mounted on guitar?
Hello, thank you for the video! Instead of recording, if I want to play live, how can I get the sound to a speaker? (The speaker had wireless option as well as TRS and XLR connections).
Thank you
Great! Thank you!
Do you know what’s the difference between the one way (or one line) and two ways?
You cleared all my doubts 😊 and I have a 000 too 😂
hey thanks are you using 1 or 2 microphones?
When you mention audio editing - do you do that with the Rode app or a different audio editor?
What is the Martin guitar model ? Om body shape like Eric Clapton signature model
the major issue is that the mic sounds like its inside your mouth and that is too up close and personal for most
Are you going to jump ship and move to the rode wireless pro, with the 32bit float, or dont you need the float,
nice!
i think the voice is a bit low, do you know how could i fix it in case I sing (without needing to sing louder)
Can these mic be connected to external speakers for amplifying voice
Could you record a choir of 30 by having 2 mics taped at height to 2 bamboo poles?
Dear Åre.
In this video, you are using the lavalier microphone.
