Thanks greatly appreciated!! I’m not exactly sure of the family tree, but my start in farming was provided by mom & dad also John and Marge Kannmacher. I was allowed to share in the crops for a farm they managed called Kannmacher Heirs. 1 of the fields was called the “Richart 40”. I think your relatives. So in a way you have helped.
Hey Mark your on a Roll you have been posting nonstop witch that’s good I finally got all caught up on watching your videos here lately thanks for the helpful tip on the fire wood boiler you said a lot of good examples witch was very helpful
I heat my small 1100 square ft home with a woodstove. I have used that exclusively for 35 plus years. I keep a 2-3 year supply of wood at all times under cover so that it is well seasoned and I can cut on my own schedule. I would guess you do not get much snow there. Not unusual for us to have 2-3 foot of snow on the ground so it is nice to have it under cover so that you are not having to dig it out .
A little snow but for sure not that much! I used to put the wood in the barn, because it is nice to have it under cover. However just haven’t dedicated the time for that in last few years. Thanks for sharing it’s fun to learn other ways of operation.
The box is about 5’ x2.5’x3. I have found that filling it completely is inefficient so half full. If it is super cold ( 0 or below) then I have to fill again before morning. If I have the shed heat running then about every 2 hours adding a few pieces.
Wonderful family and channel. I love the content
Thank you. We appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
I absolutely love this channel!Y'all are living out my dream.

Where would you put a “savings account” of wood at? Would that be a new project area?
Probably the barn next to the wood boiler
How much wood do you have to but in the boiler to make it through the night?

not only do they take forever but they crack easier and they're easier to spill gas which was their original intent lol!!!
Isn’t that the truth!
Barely ever use them just pour from the jug bahaha
We went to farm store and bought some “material handling jugs”. Thus it doesn’t have the safety spout.
