Homeland is an edge-of-your-seat sensation. CIA officer Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) is tops in her field despite being bipolar, which makes her volatile and unpredictable. With the help of her long-time mentor Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin), Carrie fearlessly risks everything, including her personal well-being and even sanity, at every turn. You won't be able to turn away from this gripping, emotional thriller in which nothing short of the fate of our nation is at stake. - Фільми й анімація
Such beautiful, genuine contrast between the glorious, heroic death of Haqqani and the random, humiliating one of Max. Heartbreaking, but also realistic.
The best season, the best show ever.
The most underrated character in Homeland, allways taken for granted... Not for us, Max. Not for us...
i knew max was gonna die the moment i saw fara get killed it worked the same way in SOA when donna died i knew opie was gonna die.
No not for us. I always never forgive what they did to him
@@MegaFrance69 yea well opie died more dramatically but he was kinda more important charachter than max
@Hi My Name Is exactly
I jolted forward and yelled "NONONONONO" at my screen when this happened. Such a sucker punch. We love you Max ♥️
Max was a gangster till he died! Get the box Carrie!
Loved her exchange with Yevgeny afterward:
“I've told you about my whole life. I must have said something about him.”
“No. You never did.”
They really took out my boy
I know right!
Sad
And then end with Carrie in a long-term relationship with the guy who went rogue and killed many many people the previous season, took her off her meds, held her captive, got her to talk. They fall in-love? Face to face with the man who gave her hell.
Hell yeaaaah, Carrie and Saul💙 I love what they did with the ending! Unexpected but fitting for her character, sort of a happy end but also a beginning of something new, ambiguous and a little open for imagination and not enough to leave the audience angry ... and the title Carrie Mathison: Why I Had To Betray My Country , that's just brilliant, considering how many times she betrayed her country and everyone she loved without a blink of an eye, and she actually ALWAYS did it FOR HER COUNTRY 😄 👌
Why does Carrie love Brody - the only person she really loved in her life?
Because a part of her feels bad about the pain and torture he was subjected to. She acknowledges the fact that he served his country obediently until his capture, and that he was actually subjected to inhuman treatment. He was subjected to this for years on end. This will certainly leave even the strongest of men psychologically scarred for life.
In Brody's case, he was broken and Abu Nazir took advantage of his psychological state and turned him into a brainwashed traitor. Fortunately, Brody did not blow up his suicide vest, and listened to his daughter, which highlights the fact that there is still humanity in it. This shows the audience that he is not a cold-blooded terrorist, but a misguided and emotionally damaged man who just needs to be brought back on track. Carrie sees this and, as a result, feels sympathy for him.
Carrie had other involvement yes, it turns out that none managed to awaken the true love she felt for Brody and vice versa. Later Quinn ok?
The character loves her daughter Franny even though in a crooked way ...
This was heartbreaking.
Don't get me started on Quinn
Quinn's death was something else. I hated watching that scene.
@mpxlearn7876 I found is death scene easier to watch than the scene with the sarin gas 😢
I’m so sad 😭
Very very much
And once again Carrie is no to blame..for she could do nothing...as usual the broken hero..
Carrie's relationship with Max is a common one. As they say, don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. There's a lot to be said about Carrie telling Yevgeny things she never told anyone. It's as if she pulled him into the bathroom with her when she nearly drowned Franny, so Saul's comment about her vulnerability to Yevgeny makes sense. Franny is the child that gets to go to school without a bomb dropping on it. The dynamics are different that way.
“If Max had lived would he find Carrie in Moscow. Perhaps visit?“ This poses an interesting question. Who else might visit Carrie? Maggie and her family? Saul? Elizabeth Keane? Virgil? Her mother? Jeez, did she have any BFF’s, like from college? I bet Otto During would visit her, don’t you think?
The whole point of the finale is that Carrie burns her life down so I really don’t think anyone is visiting her. "
"It's max."
*Gunshots*
Not anymore. 😂😂
So good
Fitting...
they took out my boy
The pace she runs. 😪
The series did NOT DID MAX RIGHT. The dude litteraly carry the show over some arcs and he got an unceremoniously death. What a shame

All of Carrie's sins will be forgotten if she saves Max....i;m just saying...i want no spoilers..Max is my homeboy..also he kinda looks like me..and i kind of am like him personality wise..maybe a bit more introvert but still
