I thought that looked like Briançon part way through. Beautiful area, I stayed there on a kayaking holiday. Would love to go back for a biking adventure! Looks epic 🔥 Well done for doing it on a hardtail too 🙌🏻
@@bikeradar thank Felix. It honestly is an amazing video so captures just how beautiful the place is 👍. Going back this year need ti finish it off properly 🤣👍. All the best
No way it's Sam and (I think) Lindsay from bike village. I remember 2 Bike Village holidays I did back in 2001!!...Awesome landscape ..what an adventure
Erm.....you don't get that sort of thing in NW Cambridgeshire as it's just flat muddy bridleways this time of year.......Hmmm ? It's more hardtail/ gravel bike stuff Looks pretty fecking amazing.....and on a hardtail.....awesome
Slightly concerned, after taking a bang to the head you felt a little sick?, this is a sure sign of concussion and exercising after that could be lethal, gladly you were ok but be mindful that symptoms however mild are not to be ignored. Great video and wow, what a ride..🤙🏻
I guess xc riders are the craziest kind tbh hahahahah, That's exactly what i was thinking about, any 120mm+bike with tougher tires would do the trick (if you are crazy enough lol).
Stunning trip. That shale passage looked fun :) I did a TransAlp in 2003 on a Hardtail as well. Oberstdorf - Lago di Como
Amazing! Bikes were quite different back then. Thanks for watching, from all at BikeRadar.
Very inspirational vídeo. Thank you 🖐🏻
Thanks for watching! Have fun on the trails - Felix
That bulletproof Starling build is pretty awesome

At this time, it is Mont-Sainte-Anne, Québec, Canada (home of the UCI's Canadian downhill and XC races)!
A dream place to ride! Can we go next time?
@@bikeradar you should come this summer, the UCI races are planned for July!
I so envy. I've been to tha Alps a cuple of times . I feel the vibes. Take me with you next time.

Amazing video and adventure! Any chance that you can share details of the route? Any recorded gps track?
Some scary stuff!
Thanks for watching! From all at BikeRadar
What time of year did you take this trip?
I'd guess between late June and early September. Because otherwise there is snow on these mountains
Cool
Capable bike and rider! Knees ok?
Haha definitely the bike not the rider ;)
Knees good, wrists a little sore 😅
@@TomMarvin1 Really impressed with that hardtail handling that terrain. This was good. Keep it coming.
I can bet that the guy with broken hub had shimano hub. I've already seen 2 friends get problems with those m7100/m8100 hubs.
Is it possible to get the gps track please?

We agree, potential concussion is to be taken very seriously. Thankfully Tom was fine. Thanks for watching, from all at BikeRadar!
That does not look that rough I would do that on a xc bike
