Fajyobore loves her back muscles man lol. Been following her works since long ago and everytime I see a good back, I'll think hey, it's def her art lol.
@@sariyaart Bro I actually did. Like I thought "wasn't he showcasing his art? why is that there?" and then you talked about drawing Toji and it clicked.
Greatly explained step by step even for inexperienced artists like me, truly made me cry, no glazing. Thank you very much for this video it changed my life 😭❤
I hope the algorithm blesses you at some point, the fact that I have seen these paintings before but didnt notice the technical side of it makes me realize how ignorant i am regarding the existence of how such simple, yet powerful concepts
Ive been following Fajyo for a long time and even watched her lives often, as a beginner it inspired me greatly ❤ Despite not favouring her artstyle these days my respect and love for her will never fade, Love fajyo!!
Damn I don't speak french, all I can say is je tu aime and merci bouqous or something like that (no I didn't take the time to look up how you spell this) Anyway I translated your comment thank you for the compliment man! I'll take the first international comment as a good sign
Note for myself! Thank you so much for the interesting and useful video 🙇♂️ - Pay attention to value contrast (for example: light character vs dark bg and vice versa) - Lightest part: focal point, guide viewers’ eyes to it - Study attractive arts to notice how they use value
i love how at 8:33 he says “unfortunately i couldn’t become as good as fajyobore after a ten minute study” yet literally captured the essence of her work so well like my jaw was literally on the floor thinking “oh my god it’s literally fajyobore”. she is one of my favorite artists, and you captured her work so well. i can’t explain exactly what it is that just specifically makes her art so… but you did it so well you explained the importance of values so well too, thank you so much 🙇 it’s one thing to know a subject, but it’s another thing to apply it- like studying for a test just to regurgitate the information and forget it for the next, like yeah you know it but you can’t apply it practically. i was stuck in that loop with this topic, but something about the way you explained it made something click for me, i had my “aha” moment thanks to you 🙇 i can’t wait to see more of your work, and what else you do. thank you so so much 🫶🫶
Damn thank you for the comment! I was scared the Fajyobore fans would be disappointed because I didn't really show how to draw like her, but I'm glad you like it! THANK YOU ❤️
We need an entire video dedicated to Dino Illus please. Their catalog is simply masterful and especially in the color and value proficiency ! And I think it'll do well coz they have a ton of fans and no one has made it yet.
Great explanation and also confirming what I found out on my own. One of my art goals this year is to get back into drawing/studying backgrounds. I can combine it with the method you analysed. I'm a bit scared but I'll do this >< Thanks for sharing your experience. I remember when I saw that Dio artwork and loved it years ago. I was so happy you used it for studying. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for your comment as always! I hope you achieve your goals this year, it's not complicated, you just need to put in the work. I believe in you
Damm i really missed ur videos!! They help me a lottt cuz i have zero sense in coloring and shading 😭 im trying to learn color theory and im about to lose my mind
hahaha I know exactly what you mean, it can be really overwhelming at the start and it still is to me, but I'm sure it'll get better with time. After all being an artist isn't about knowing, but about discovering. Thanks for commenting
This is such a great video, thank you! I would also say that the importance of a readable silhouette also goes hand in hand with values right? Like if you were to turn the whole figure one colour and remove any detail, it would still be readable what pose they were doing.
I'm pretty sure it's just normal digital paint with a textured brush. I don't think the medium is what makes the difference, but rather the painting technique, Dinoillust is a crazy good painter
This was so helpful thank u so much!! May I ask how you added the colors? Did u use a blending mode or sth different, because everytime I try to change to color it looks so muddy and odd
Yeah, this was the first time I went from greyscale to color and I was honestly just as confused as you. In the end, I just painted colors over the composition while keeping the original comp on a different canvas, which is definitely not the most efficient way. Sorry but this is all I can help you with 😭
Man I wish I could but this guy is an actual wizard. I can't begin to comprehend his style, as we are very different types of artists, at least that's what I think. He's definitely someone I wanna study, but I lack in skill to do him justice, so hopefully in the future.

@@sariyaart Honestly? Close enough imo! You're doing great!

Thanks man. The more you learn about art, the more you realize how much you don't know, but that's a sign of growth. You should be proud!

I still have a hard time achieving the mood i wanted in my previous illustrations, but after watching your video, it was so helpful! Thank you!
I'm glad it helped!
Great vid, and thanks for making me aware of Fajyobore, the lighting in these artworks is just jaw-dropping!
Tu expliques bien et tu montres en plus des exemples détaillés à ta manière à chaque fois! Je retiendrais mieux comme ça aussi!

Start drawing right now before it's too late ❤
@@sael5084 already completed my first background and planning the second on my next wip rn :3
I usually set my drawing to grayscale, so i can see how good my drawing looks and the contrast, really good thing to do
YES this is exactly how you check your values, I kinda forgot to mention it in the video 💀
Like how you study your own mistakes and apply Tipps to you new drawings :) !
