Your car looks a lot more aggressive and proper now! Thank you for the install video & review, we are glad you like our product :)
It’s perfect! Thank you! 🙏🏼
The coupon code doesn’t work. I would like to buy today if I can get the 5% off.
Great product....I had them on my C8 with the trident wheels, makes a huge difference!!
I recently changed to wheels that are 1/2 inch wider that don’t require spacers.
I would recommend the spacers to anyone that wants to change the stance without getting new wheels.
Thanks J Will! Glad to hear you loved them!
Next video: Install of the Paragon Grill Guards. I know they have on but would like to see you install them.
Awesome, I will be getting mine done.
I love paragon I have there exhaust sounds & looks awesome!!
Jeremy is great, front carbon splitter coming soon I hope. Installing lowering spacers this weekend.
Looks Awesome! Will definitely purchase and add them to my 2021 when it arrives.
Thanks Bob!
Put them on mine a few months ago. Love them, Keep up the good work
Me too!!!!
Thanks for the discount! Ordered and looking forward to seeing mine do the same!
🙌🏼, check out today’s video before installing
Hey Matt thanks for sharing. Live all your C8 content from Ontario Canada. I finally got my TPW 03/29. So excited!
Congrats, you will love it.
Hey I’m in Alberta my TPW is 03/29 too!!! Do you know how long it takes to get it after the tpw date approx? Thank you
Hi, I am in Maine, it took approximately 45 days from time built to dealer. Hopefully yours will be sooner, but I am guessing you still have some winter there, similar to us in Maine. So by the time you actually take delivery you can drive it some. We took delivery of ours 475 days after ordering, December 8th, lucky to catch a good day to drive it home from dealer, parked in garage ever since, can’t wait to drive it. Congrats again.
Thanks man! I really appreciate it! You’re going to love it man!
I did those spacers also. Love them.
🙌🏼
Always great content! Keep it up!
Thanks Chris!
Your supposed to file the studs if you have problems with fitment. I had the same issue the guys at paragon told me to file the studs they have a how to video on their website
Exactly
Yep. Had to file a mm off each stud for proper fit.
You are correct ,if the wheel doesn't fit properly you don't apply 140 ft lb to the wheel nuts to try to make it fit.
No need to file the studs if you have the trident wheels. Only for the five spoke wheels
Check out today video
I saw you at the Lamborghini car show a couple of days ago with your green c8. And we had our fully white c8 with us as well.
Yea, yes, yes. I love it
Great review ,some corbon work will be even great to add front and back loving the statc c8 wing by victor racing
Great video brother!
Thanks bro!
Yep got those spacers as one of my first mods. They help the stance.
🙌🏼
Looks great.
Thanks man!
Looks so good! Gotta get some of those for the camaro! (And some new wheel well liner lmao)
😂😂😂
Matt you got the silver lug nuts. Mine are silver too and I don’t know why GM gave us silver lug nuts with black wheels. They shoulda been black!
The spacers look great! Congrats on another sponsor. Keep it up my friend.
Thanks Michael! Yeah what’s with that? Come on Chevrolet!
Matt, I believe your gonna need the wheel Mud guards Chevrolet offers for the C8 it'll reduce debris from hitting the body of the car down line from the wheels to the rear-end. That did live the wider wheel stance.
Yup now I need spacers for the Supra!!
😂
Matt, I just pulled the triggerr with Paragon. A puck as well. Used your code - thanks. I could tell you were pleased..... I thought you were about to roll on your back and offer up your belly.
They’re awesome! You’re going to love the stance!
I asked Paragon to sponsor me to no avail. I bought almost everything they sell. lol
Love your shirt. I have the yellow version and now they don't sell them anymore.
Paragon’s tutorial says to grind down the tips of the studs before installing the spacers! They say it required to stop the wiggle.
100% this is a very old video
You should have watched the install video by Parogon . It looks like you should have modified your wheel studs.Hopefully your video doesn't cause any accidents.
Check out today’s video. It not that serious lol
@@RWDC8Z If damage was done it would be that the studs would be bent. Thanks for doing the follow up video to let your followers know the proper install .
Love how it makes the wheels look almost like a aftermarket wheels. Love it! Is your car stock height or did you lower it an inch?
Right? I love my wheels now! It’s lowered and inch. Needs another lol
Please report back after some hard launches especially after the Pro Charger install! Great video.
🙌🏼
I think they looks really good but I think another 1/4 or 1/2 inch would look even better. It would give it an even wider stance.
Looks way better.
Thank you!
The OEM studs hit the sides of the casting pockets. That is the reason for the wobble. You HAVE to file the outer edge down or shorten them by 5 mm. Then they fit perfectly. The reason why you got it to fit by cranking on the torque is that they are BENT. Please, not doing that is dangerous.
Check out today’s video man.
Booom‼️🧨
Thanks man!
Cool
I'm still waiting for my C8 and have been following all the Paragon videos. Really like their stuff. Have you lowered the car using the rear coilover and the Paragon lowering collars? If not are you planning to?
Yup it’s already been lowered on collars and with the spinner wrench in the rear about 2/3s down
Buddy. I too love my Paragon spacers. But you must not have watched Paragons jnstall videos. You are supposed to grind a taper on the end of the factory studs so they clear the inside casting of the wheel. That is why it felt like the wheel was wobbly and not seating properly. You need to gring off that stud material to be installed correctly. See their video. Safe driving. 👍
Thanknyou for video .may I ask is that a gloss wrap love it thank you if you response. Love your car omg sick
Yup! It’s 3m light gloss green!
The factory studs were hitting the wheel and you just forced it to bend or dig in to wheel. I’m sure you know that by now but just wanted to comment to tell others.. they actually include that in the instructions now. Good video just wanted to add that as I had to install them today.
How are your spacers holding up after a year. Did you have to retorque?
the splash guards are hard to find they are on back order. Spacer are great paragone are great to work with they are the best
That new stance is menacing!!!!! Just missing tho lambo doors bro lol also REAL MEN WEAR FLIP FLOPS WHEN WORKING ON CARS
😂😂😂 paragon sells them so maybe 🤷🏻♂️
Outstanding! But does do they affect the alignment at all? Have you researched that? How does affect the car in any way at all? Thanks.
Havnt, but I’ll let y’all know!
Paragon suggest new alignment spec with the spacers? If so, what are they for both street and track ( since GM has a track alignment spec for the C8).
Now they need to develop wheel lip moldings like the C7 GS had so the sides of the car are more protected from rocks and debris.
Not sure, wouldn’t be a bad idea to get your alignment checked
Is there a reason you didnt use any locktite on the threads when installing the spacers? I couldnt tell if the nuts had lockers in them....
didnt know locktite on spacers was a thing. Ill take a look into it. Thanks
My C8 is barely going into production. I’m already thinking about getting these spacers. Although I do have a concern and that is will it cause more rock chip damage?
I’d imagine so. But I’ve also seen side mud flaps out there too. Could help?
fine if you are just concerned about looks but does not help rotating weight. Needs black lug nuts and splash guards.
Now you need splash guards
unfortunately i had already bought the spacers from paragon and i have them ready for fitment as soon as i get the car. So the update is that the car is in the sea port ...hopefully next week i would get delivery of it. But yes the spacers make a huge difference in the look, but how about the steering does it make a difference?
Wanted to get new tires before really testing out the “driving feel”
We will talk Sunday but I got another potential sponsorship opportunity 😎
🎉🎉🎉
I did installed the spacer from paragon to but i did not take off the yellow junk on the stud will it matter?
Maybe go back and clean them up just in case?
I had a C6 grand sport with the stock good year eagles (terrible tires) that I drove on til the belts and wires were showing on the front inner tires.....once! Never did it again cause it damn near killed me.
Yeah, didn’t realize I ripped it so hard with Danny. We saw chunks on the ground but thought it was other people. Turns out it was my tire in my hand 😂
Thanks for putting a tape measure in there. Is it 1.25” in rear and 1” in front to be corrected?
It’s 20mm on the front and back. So same front and back. I think the conversion was a little less than an inch.
No, I meant what did the tape measure read exactly. I see it’s about an inch, but 3/4-1.25? Thanks buddy 😎
do the factory stud bolts that held on the rim before interfere with the rim because now u have 10 stud bolts...off centered with the rim or do the rim have enough clearance that it do not touch the factory stud bolts????
I was wondering the same exact thing
Check out today’s video guys!
@@RWDC8Z thanks for the follow up Matt that was a good clarification and nothin beats a dremmel tool.
@@RWDC8Z good job
How much more crap will get thrown up on the side of the car now
I’ll find out and let you know
That initial wobble putting them on the spacers, shouldn't be there. Paragon says to shave down the factory lug bolts (on their install video) That can't be safe leaving it the way you installed it because it's putting lateral stress on the lug bolt. Also, ust IMHO, hold the camera further away from the vehicle when you're showing the before-and-afters. Close-ups should only be for the install steps.
You need to get the extra splash guards now it will throw rocks down the side of your car
The stance looks great! Since your install, have you noticed more rock/debris marks with the wheels pushed out an inch? Do you recommend wider splash/mud flaps?
Oh absolutely
Why is it that they don’t have it spaced like that from the factory? Any ideas?
🤷🏻♂️
I am getting a bunch a tire rub with these spacers did you have the same experience?
Only sometimes when I turn left. Left tire rubs on the mud flap. But just ever so slightly. And its very rare. I think actually only when leaving my inclined driveway. May look for some thinner aftermarket run flaps.
@@RWDC8Z what size tires do you have?
Had to pause the video to run to the hospital for my burst ear drums. The music is so loud compared to your voice. What's the promo code for new speakers that are not blown out?
FYI, 25mm is an inch. So 20mm spacer is just under an inch.
Are you going to sell your ported intake? I'm going to buy one and if you are going to sell yours, that's an option for me.
Not sure, but I’ll let ya know!
Hope you made sure your torqued those wheels down to 140ft lbs
Always!
Discount code ?
Is your shirt from streetspeed717
Indeed!
I’ve seen some people have to mutilate their hubs just to use those wheel spacers, not worth it to me.
The locktite was on the threads for a reason homie. 🤦🏾♂️
Those spacers do make a difference in the looks department. Wonder if it will have an effect on handling or getting the wheels aligned. Like your steel-toe Filipino safety boots 😂
Haha dem flip flops are killin it🤣
Love my flip flops!
@@RWDC8Z You rock those flip flops dude!👍
*Safety tip kid's* don't wear flip flops when working on your car...ever drop something on your bare 🦶...yeah, it'll hurt 🤕
There are pockets on the backside of the wheels that the new lugs will contact. You have to put each wheel on and tighten a bit to see where the each lug leaves an impression on the backside of each wheel. The lugs must be filed down a bit to get the machined surface of each wheel to come flush with the new hub. Others that have made videos such as this one have taken that extra step. If you don't, your wheels will not come flush with the hubs and at the point where the end of the lugs are contacting the wheel. That small pressure point or those points will inevetably lead to the lugs coming loose or worse. That's why I disliked your video. Other than that, great car. Check that out with Paragon Performance.
How are your spacers holding up after a year. Did you have to retorque?
I retorque with every wheel/tire change or track visit
