0:30 why i hate tenderizing. it eats a lot of sharpness (even with master's touch) , u could die or lose a lot of health just by tenderizing (if the softened part healed and u didnt clagger it yet) u literally have to wait for ur temporal or rocksteady or wait for an attack from the monster that has a slow recovery if u want to soften again. LS should have a clutch claw attack that can soften parts easily (like that DB clutch claw attack)
I think it is really simple: Tenderize with one attack when at red Spirit Gauge. The same thing should apply to Insect Glaive when you collect all three extracts.
I really like frostcraft as an ability, its one of the more unique armor set abilities in world. Also love how it has this interaction with longsword, kinda wish though it didn't degrade with hits, and more with damage dealt. I feel it drains too fast with faster weapons, and you get very little from it compared to harder hitting weapons....eh, maybe AT could give us a better version.
The more Monster Hunter content I see like this, the more I'm convinced that it is in fact the player character who is the monster and they're out hunting a bunch of defenseless creatures.
This is why I can’t wait for frostfang barioth, could you imagine this but with 1 piece punishing draw and 3 piece slugger secret, if you ran a Safi’Jiva weapon you could get teostra technique or another 3 piece skill as well

That's just basically spamming the same attack over and over It's not being good, it's called repetition, practice. This guy is average at LS compared to real gods like Cantaperme for example People aren't aware of what a true MH God looks like

Sad thing is 99% of times when you realize spirit slash, even if you time it perfectly, you still will get the monster's hit and recieve damage. So.. Heroics and spirit slash are not a good combination.. Still usable, but not a good combination

Frostcraft armor set skill. From Velkhana 4-piece. As you keep your weapon sheathed, it builds up to 3 stages. Once you unsheathe, and start attacking, you get up to 30% damage bonus. Very, very good, even for non-crit draw.
@@stampsoon5270 Loncus forgot something very important. You get 30% damage bonus on your first attack after unsheathing. The next couple of attacks also get a bonus but it is lower then the 1st.

Nice video peppo, you can make a video explaining if frozen barrioth with frostcraft will be worth it. It technically shouldnt because you need about 20 hits on head when you can use impact mantle.
I think it's too early to draw conclusions, but since you ask me, here are my personal thoughts on the topic. Considering you can substitute one piece of Brachy getting the same skills (except agitator secret ofc lol), frostfang barioth armor implementation could be worthy: you lose 8 raw from agitator secret, but you gain 5 raw from punishing draw. Since you already use CE 7 and WEX 3 in the build, 10% affinity loss doesn't really matter. So at the end you lose 3 raw to get 1 stun (in a speedrun scenario, probably more in a normal hunt), and consider that getting the stun is not that hard since the clutch claw attack is a sheathing attack. Worthy? It depends on the monsters in a speedrun scenario, probably there are cases where a free stun can help you more than a mere 3 more raw, in a normal hunt I'd probably say it's always better. You say you can just use the impact mantle, yeah but you are forced then to use evasion + impact, what if you need rocksteady or another specific mantle for the start? And what if you play in ta wiki rules? :D Still too early to confirm this all, so take it carefully.

Godslayer96 or just remove tenderizing. There’s only a few fights where it adds anything to the game.

there is a really meme build for safi and kulve where you combo frostcraft with the dual blade back roll move, well worth trying it out.
Although for SnS builds that focus on perfect rush it's quite good.

@@joesheridan9451 IAI Spirit Slash does NOT give s. It only gives hyper armor on succesful parry. The only part of LS kit that gives s is FSS.

Paul Mims LS was super good against safi. For 90% of my games I was the one doing the most damage and dying the least with the LS.

The iai spirit slash gives you a window to negate some damage.If you can pull it off during said window you dont lose a bar of charge

just press the spirit/combo slash button. One of the best moves and easiest ways to build meter.
