Hey everyone, Peppo here.
I had to replace 2 songs in this video because they got copyright issues, after months of publication... yeah that's UA-cam.
At least now the video should be visible to everybody again without any weird restrictions. Have a good one!
The new songs are louder than the rest of the video :p
Sad that the in game sound had to be removed too...but what can you do? UA-cam just sucks sometimes

@@abdullahyousef3481 who said he is hard? I said his wind and attack pattern is shit and not fun. Literally Defeat him with stun lock easily but he is still shitty ED from gen 2 (i play mh from ps2) . His wind mechanic is annoying at best and shitty at worst case.

@@sabm2733 I don't really know what you mean, but if you can't do the special sheath it's probably because you didn't attack before.
What I mean is that you can't start a combo with the Iai Spirit Slash, what they do is the little stab and then they hold the special sheath, after that, you can activate the Spirit Slash.
The Spirit Slash gives you some super armor frames and does a counter (you still receive reduced damage), the counter needs to be timed pretty well, if you fail the timing you will receive the attack normally, if you release the Slash but didn't counter anything you lose all the gauge. I think that's it.
@@zz4_k not all of the gauge, just one level of it. Also if you time it right, you dont take any damage as long as your evade phrames are still up whike you are touching the monster (evade window helps with this). Also it has a random hit so good luck getting it to hit where you want. This vid probably took days to make.

Dude I’m still learning this iai slash counter and when I saw how you cut off Safi’s tail that was sick! It’s not that easy. Maybe I should understand the LS even more. Thanks man! First time playing mhw.

To me personally this was the most satisfying and most unsatisfying thing, satisfying cause tails being cut off, un satisfying because I’m just a sicko and likes to see the cut off tail, as well as the sad fact fatalis didn’t get his tail cut off (if that’s even possible)

I've been playing LS since MH Tri and haven't played iceborne yet, so I'd just like to say, thank you Capcom for making my favorite weapon the flashiest possible weapon choice
Edit: I have now played Iceborne, I can honestly say that I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would and I already thought it looked really good.

@@Sundel_Marlutte it is good in rise but...something does not feel right when i foresight slash or lai spirit slash it just does not give me the good feeling i had when doing it in mhw maybe it is the sound but idk same for every other weapon like GS when you do the big boi damage attack i feel nothing
@@catsmoking6485 It's a problem a lot of action games have sometimes, where your attacks definitely do good damage but feel like they just don't connect, take DMC2 for example, the stinger in every other DMC game (note that I haven't played DMC4 or 5 yet) feels impactful, it feels incredible to get a well placed hit with one, but in 2, it just feels soft, like there's no impact and it feels more like Dante lightly slaps the enemy instead of actually stabbing them, so I think the problem you have with Rise's Iai slash comes from the lack of motion blur when you pull it off, it just feels off
Long blade and dual blades make me think of the line " I am the anime now."
You deserve subs for acting like an anime character and being a man of culture.
This makes me more confident to use long sword. I feel like there something i can learn from this

That second ost that used is from aldonoah zero is a good anime, and for unknown reasons it matches monster hunter perfecly even monster hunter freedom unite and the past ones Mika kobayashi did a great job in that ost
