- Amazon’s BEST SELLING Racing Wheel! The Logitech G923 is one of the best selling racing wheels on Amazon! If you love playing racing games like Forza, F1 2023 and Gran Turismo 7 this is an awesome Xbox accessory and PlayStation accessory!
235£ is still too steep for me so I just found one at a sale for around 180£.
Where ????
@@kosta8351 ebay or cex can get used great quality for cheap got the thrustmaster equivalent to the g920 series and no mark or damage less than 100 pounds, ffb still works a charm aswell.
@@kosta8351they are £80 in my country very good price
I got new in box, for 120€, my friend bought new and havent used it
@@Yurij_Dopted lucky
The g29 used to be a good starter wheelbase almost 10 years ago, but it and all the "starter" Logitech wheelbases are heavily outdated.
For only a 100$ more you can buy a moza r3 bundle which comes with stronger and more accurate force feedback (4 compared to 3) and in a direct drive base with a quick release wheel and load cell pedals.
And for 160$ over the g29 you can get the same thing but with the slightly more powerful moza r5.
These are two great options that i doubt someone would want to upgrade from very quickly and could last a while
What sucks is moza doesn't work for PlayStation or Xbox so unless you're going for a PC build you can't use them
R3 costs more 500quid here
I bought g29 that has more than a year warranty for 100€ and its great on my PS3 and ps5
Bruh my birthday allowance in like £300 im getting g923 and the shifter
Bruh my birthday allowance in like £300 im getting g923 and the shifter
Or you could get a Logitech Driving Force GT which is pretty much just as good but costs only £25-£50
I was curious and looked at the info on the Logitech Driving Force GT and was pretty impressed with it
Yes, I have one and the force feedback is brilliant. People say it’s almost as good as the modern Logitech wheels
@wolvespackstudios I have a DD base, but that Logitech wheel does sound pretty darn good for the price. And as long as you enjoy it, what else do you really need?
Exactly👍 I picked mine up for £25 off of fb marketplace.
I play gran turismo and the crew Motorfest on my ps5 with Logitech g29, works like a charm! I know it can be difficult but it takes time and practice to get used to it. I’ve been sim racing for 2 years now and it’s very fun
The problem is, once you get one, you'll want to spend $1000's on a better setup.
I got one a little over a year ago, now I upgraded to a 2500$ moza setup👍🏻
type of person that buy mercedes c class but after a month want maybach.
it was 249 in the as it came out, logitech just raised the price for no reason to fool people but as its logitech no one cares
in india g29 is pricy we get moza R5 bundle if we add another 10k (100$)
Bro ill pay you just send me it
Here for 100usd more only moza r3😅
@Usersf134ssk in dubai its 400usd
@@Usersf134ssk they said moza r3 bundle wheel with any other moza base is compatible with xbox. if xbox is your primary gaming machine.. still i would get r3
@yashpa i saw r3 in real life. It's very cheap materials. It bends. And i didn't take it. And it's very expensive in Uzbekistan. 500$ for new r3 and 660$ for new r5. That's why i took cammus c5 + pedals for 300$ and table clamp for 25$ from pxn
Don't buy this one if you're planning on drifting, instead buy a thrustmaster t300rs gt
I got a g920 😅 although I can still drift
I had a g920 then a t300rs and now a fanatec but for beginners i recommend a t300rs because is is way smoother and faster than a g920 so save a bit more because its worth it
That wheel is more than double the price
I want to buy moza r5 bundle is it good?
Or skip this shit.. Go dd wish I did 😂 just saying
A T300RS saves you money in the long run with changeable wheel rims and pedals along with that it has in my opinion way better force feedback plus it just looks better
If you’re buying new parts are you really saving money ??
Nice, the wheel and the pedals set cost £288.01 in my country. Also the shifter is £57.6. I sadly won’t be buying stuff till next year since I’m low on money and my parents aren’t willing to sacrifice more than £108 on my setup. I’d need a £201.60 GPU, a £172.80 CPU, and the game. The wheel and pedals, also the shifter, are on me. (FH6 also, when it comes out). I’m willing to hear how did any of you afford such set ups, how much did they cost and which wheels, pedals, shifters, handbrakes you use, and also pls recommend me and ask me anything about my setup.
The G29 is almost the same and the price difference is so high, but I only tried the G29, it's good enough and great for me
buy a thrustmaster or invest into DD,.the G29 has horrible force feedback and they tend to break, also the shifter feels toy like. Logitechs support is also horrible
If this is too steep for you (i have the same problem) get the pxn v9
The v9 is terrible. Have a go with the g923 first, not saying that the g is good, it's just that the pxn is on another level of bad. Force feedback is lacking, pedals absolute terrible.
@@bog4240 The g923 is way to expensive. The pxn v9 is good for the price
no its not €300+ (normaly) for a piece of plastic 💩 that feels like you rip it appart every time you use it. Chose Fanatec, Moza, Camus or even thustmaster but definetly NOT any gear driven wheels like the logitechs! its not worth more than maby €50
Good vid pls start making more vids again
since when was 200 bucks budget?
What cockpit is that in your high end setup? Really like the placement of the wheel in it
The best cockpit is hand made just for you 😃 there's some interesting tutorials on UA-cam 👍🏻
That wheel entry? I mean yeah Im in Eastern Europe but that shit costs 1/3 of my salary...
get a used one from Germany, its around 150€ and most of them only got used like 3 times
Take a thrustmaster t248 or a used t300rs gt instead
Wish I grabbed it at that price. It’s $330 now, too much $$$
Why is it to small. Comically small compared to a real car
That wheel is considered about a perfect size for everything because for example nascar racing would be better with a bigger wheel and drifting a small wheel (not sure about the drifting one though).
@royalrl2111 i disagree.
A g29 is 278mm. This is aligned with f1, but the thing is, f1 does not use a circular wheel. Every other motorsports use 300+.
The smallest steering you can even buy is often 300mm, with 320-350mm being the normal range for most applications.
The only reason i can think they've done this is to save money. 2cm may not sound like much but remember pi r squared, so even as small as 2cm will make a massive difference in size and material cost
@@BySixa I wasn’t answering his question, just stating a fact 🤯
@@BySixa not even remotely true. most racing wheels are between 300mm-350mm. they are smaller than most true steering wheels because bigger wheels dampen the Force feedback affect and most of the time make the experience worse. as for the logitech g923, since its very weak compared to most other sim racing bases (2.5nm to be specific), 278mm is most likely the biggest you'd ever want it to be considering it already is a fairly weak wheel. any bigger and you would heavily degrade the force feedback feeling
I think it’s smaller because it then will be easier to control for drifting and racing rather than having a real sized wheel
Spend a little.more and go for the t300rs
Xbox players:😭😭😭😭😞😞
@@carkid23 buy the TX then
The sale just ended I missed it, I ordered the wrong one and went to buy and new one and the price went back up😭😭😭. I did however find that and a stand for it for only 275 so I still got a deal 😁
Getting a budget set up while sitting in a $2000 office chair is wild. I do love my fully loaded Aeron but have really want to try out the embody.
Also I can’t be saying anything bc I have a pretty high end sim racing setup that cost thousands only to play on an XSX. I do think it’s funny that just my steering wheel alone cost as much as my entire console but then less funny when I remember I can’t use 90% of the switches or dials nor does the screen or rev light work bc Microsoft and Fanatec refuse to work together to solve the issue.
Bro that thing is like $500 in Canada
Entry level, still expensive for me lol
dont buy logitech wheels newe anymore... just dont. you can buy them used but thats the only way i would buy one nowadays
With shifters amazing
if you dont care about force feedback or clutch pedals, the hori racing wheel apex is for you. no gear shifter, no force feedback and no clutch pedal included. and theres only 1 port for the pedals which means you can't use a secondhand shifter. they are very cheap though at ~€80
Wish I could I have to buy a tv or monitor and a ps5 so gonna take me a while
Just spend the little extra money and get a csl dd
The shifter is needed or no
Not required, it has shifting pedals but it is fun
@GigachadsUnited thank you for helping I was about to buy this but I was thinking about this
also g29 costing 280
hey ben so I'm in a wheelchair and can't use my legs is this wheel compatible to use without a pedals
you can probably change the keybinds in game to put accelarate and brakes on a certain key on the wheel
@@enffinity_ would someone please be able to see if this is possible as I don’t want to spend all that money and then can’t use it
@@Tacticalseal47hey! I have the wheel and I have confirmed that you in fact can make the paddles into accelerate and brake. You could map the clutch to another key bind. Hope this helps!
@@Legolancer thanks very much appreciate 👍
@@Tacticalseal47another owner here i confirm you can map all the buttons on the steering wheel to whathever you want
I found the same one for $38
Btw the logitech g923/g920 is for xbox and pc logitech g29 is for ps5 or 4 and pc
thats not true
Thank you brooo I was so confused
The g293 is for Xbox and play station
I have the logitech g29 for 299$
This wheel is insanely loud compared to something like a thrust master t300. Night and day difference. The Logitech one isn’t smooth at all btw. You could buy a thrustmaster wheel for the price of a Logitech one and shifter. Overall don’t buy this one
Yeah but the thrustmaster shifter is like 200€ , and I need one. Do you suggest buying a Fanatec one?
You cannot call that an accessory it’s the main part of
What are you sitting on
Budget?
I liked you better when you shared tips now you just review things that you bought and you're kind of a sell out.
To be honest the logitech g923 I'd starting to be come outdated with other companies offering better quality
Better go for moza r3 Trust me
How much was it?
Dont buy this if u have the money buy a t300 used they are way better not even close and it dosent alert ur neighbors when u play
This is gonna sound weird but imagine the steering wheel had Thumbsticks. Imagine playing Fortnite like that🤣😂
I really want one
Ik right but their just so expensive
Invest into a better one, the Logitech ones are absolute garbage. Instead go get yourself a thrustmaster or if you have the wheelstand get a moza one, they are much better.
@Idkkk576 no go on Google and hook up gaming steering wheel there should be one that $38 the same one he has and that's how I got mine
Cammus c5 is better for the Price
My brother has it
Why do you say dollars when you live you live in the UK
Push moza not Logitech. If you want to get real about the sim shit do not go cheap save up 700 maybe a little more for a moza. The g29 is gonna get worn down fast
I dont have money 😢
But I’m from Trinidad
It‘s not real leather…
Buy a Cammus c5 bundle. Direct drive is only maybe $30 more and it’s WAYYYYY better than this cheap toy
it wat more expensive in Turkiye
Can I have this steering wheel please
Get it used for crying out loud
Why do y'all put the gearstick on the left? Isn't it usually on the right? (At least here in Italy)
You know there are countries where the steering wheel isn't on the left side of the car? If the steering wheel is on the right the gearstick would be to the left
@@friend_of_battlefield2299 Yes, but I think the majority of the world still has the steering wheel on the left. Or, at least from what I know, people have the wheel on the right only in England and Japan. I don't know if there are other countries that drive on the left lane.
Anyway, this wasn't the first video that I came across, where the gearstick was put on the left, that's why I was so surprised/confused 😅
What game is that
I think he’s playing gran turismo 7
Please send me your Logitech G29
Many better options than this
Thrustmaster >>>
If you want a really good wheel for beginning your simracing adventure don't buy this piece of crap spend a bit more money and buy fanatec ready2race bundle its way better than logishit in terms of quality and forcefeedback
And moza is a lot better than that
I got 1
G920 is way better for a fraction of the price.
I agree on this. I have compared g923 and g920.
G923 has a bit more force feedback power, which I thought was too rough. The advantage is the additional selectors/adjuster buttons. Other than that, they are exactly the same.
the g29 is 100% better
ps4 or no
nice
can i have it
No u are wrong it is not compatible for Xbox
There are 2 versions. one for xbox, one for ps
He said its for both but the xbox one has a silver band
Over priced for sure
