Wow. Totally changes the look and character note of the bike. Can't go wrong with Yoshi.
Thank YOU!! Yoshi makes incredible products and it sounds so dang good too
Sounds so perfect!!!
niiiice! the sound is just amaaaaazing!
Dooooode it’s a gorgeous sound! Not crazy loud just a nice rumbly tone to it
This set up is perfect
Thank YOU so much!!
@@advriley i have the full sistem to i enjoy it every day mate cheer from chile
Such a beauty!
Thank you so much
Whoo hoo Xmas Yoshi under the tree! 550 Performance stage 1 91 octane flash next!
Heck yes!! Cmon Christmas 🎄 so you can open that yoshi box up 🦾🤩. The 550 performance stage 1 will be purrrrrfecto!
Thumbed up for the french horn blow at the beginning 😂.
very beautiful!!!
Thank YOU!!
I just put the stock heat shield on mine with the yoshi exhaust last weekend. : P I have three pair of pants with holes in the right leg from touching the exhaust.
Has there been no exhaust leaks at any of the joints ? I usually have to use exhaust paste for mine but haven’t had a yoshi system yet
Sweet looks like install is a breeze. Did you do the the 550 ECU Stage two install yourself as well? If, so how difficult?
It’s a very easy install and sounds sooooo dang good!! Yes i did the 550 stage 2.0 install and it wasn’t to bad, definitely mumbled a few bad words getting the airbox back in 🤣 but it’s worth it to wake the 300L up
I really would like to be able to reinstall the stock heat shield over the aftermarket exhaust, because it offers better coverage and protection to the various bags that I tend to carry , than those small aftermarket heat shields. Im going to try and devise a way to get it back on.
This is the same thoughts I had also! Being a dual sport bike I really like having the heat shield. It looks like if we were to order a 2nd hose clamp like the one that’s already under the heat shield that it could bolt back on fairly easily
@@advriley that’s the exact thought I had! Please keep me informed if you decide to experiment with it, and let me know if you get it to work out, and I’ll do the same. Thanks for the response! Subbed up!
I ran into problems mounting the exhaust header on mine. The holes seemed just a hair too far apart for me to get the bracket on both bolts. Did you run into any issues like this?
Will RS 12 fit the crf300 as well? I bought it off someone that said it fits but haven’t found any videos on it
Hi, I have a question, the manifold flange doesn't fit into the two captive holes in the cylinder head, how is this possible? And to be enlarged? the code is for the 300... Thanks
... Great video. Short and to the point w/o a bunch of nonsense. Thanks ...
I have a 2021CRF 300 Rally.
I am getting ready to install the Yoshimura RS4 Full exhaust, 550 ECU Stage 1 and a DNA air filter. 550 sent me the CBR 300 intake boot but it will be added later. I know it can be an ordeal to say the least.
Once the air box is removed to fit the boot, the ridge inside the box will be removed. There is a video on that. Don't remember who did it.
The factory back intake snorkel will be removed and either another hole will be added or a single bigger hole (like Jake the Garden Snake did) on the back top of the air box.
Questions-
1. How hard or intimidating was it to do the CBR cams?
2. Does that require the 550 2.0 ECU flash?
Again,
Thanks for the video.
. Jeff .
Thank YOU!! The 300l is really easy to work on. Even opening making the intake boot hole wasn’t bad to do just takes a bit of time is all.
The cams aren’t horrible either if you’re comfortable doing them.
Fully loaded :)
Thanks buddy 🤗 Ready for adventure
Hi ADV do you have a part number for the bigger velocity stack & where did you get it ? my bike has DNA filter/ Arrow system/ EJK Fuel controller & would still benefit from the bigger stack but don't know what to order ? I'm in the UK & i am told the 550 ECU does not work so well for UK/EURO bikes, ATB Wayne UK..............
I’m not sure of the part number as I got my velocity stack from 550 performance. If you contact 550 Performance I bet he could get you tuned up perfectly even if you’re in the uk
Good Man Cheers for that. Will do.@@advriley
@@koshtieride safe dude!! 🦾🏍️
is it me or does also orginal exhaust sound good on this bike, not like the yoshimura but in general? for me its not to bad
Heck yeah for a stock exhaust it’s better than many
What all mods you done your CRF300L I got one as well and was wondering what tires you got?
They are Dunlop D606 tires.
Mods are the 550 performance stage 2.0, Yoshimura full exhaust, Pro Taper bars, Barkbusters Handguards, AXP skid plate w/ linkage guard
I asked a shop to make me a custom straight pipe exhaust, it sounds really good but its very loud , how loud is that Yoshimura ?
That’s awesome!! The Yoshimura is purrrrrfect. I have the baffle in mine and it’s a great sound that’s not loud and obnoxious
Hey man I just picked up a 2023 300L , I’m not crazy concerned with adding performance I just want a louder bike , can I just install this exhaust and not tune it? Will it hurt the bike overall? Also I wanna add protection for trail riding any recommendations for skid plate, frame guards, engine guards/crash bars?
If you just want some more sound I’d recommend doing the slip on exhaust rather than the full system.
I’m running AXP skid plate and linkage guard and it’s been working great for me.
I might be late to the party, but you can put a new exhaust on without tuning it because it has a O2 sensor spot in it
I put the full Yosh exhaust on my 300L but mounted the front heat shield back on , you'll want to do this also or your right leg & pants will suffer .
That’s a really good idea! I’ll have to do that on mine before I melt something
Take the spark arrestor out it will sound the way it should
It actually doesn’t have a spark arrestor.. Comes from Yoshi with a baffle tho. I did remove it and ride for a bit but was to loud for my liking so baffle went back in 😜
Hey buddy, I found my bike. Shoot me the upgrades you did.
Did you get the 550 ECU and Twin-Air filter?
Yes the 550 ECU, Velocity Stack, Air Box lid and cams so it has the stage 2.0
@@advriley ... The Twin-Air filter or the 550 Hurricane air filter? ... Thanks.
You didn't put the spring under the silencer..
Bike need mapping before installing original Yoshimura?
It’s not a need to do the bike runs better with an exhaust!
I have a bud that put just the exhaust on his 300L and it ran perfectly. He then a few months later did a 550 performance ecu and noticed some power gains.
@advriley ohh thanks, I bought the same Yoshimura, but I've heard the bike needs a mapping for this exhaust change, or your valves are gonna be damaged...
@@hernanjaafar8947naaa dude my bud ride the heck outa his CRF 300L with a Yoshimura exhaust and his isn’t tuned. My only recommendation would be plug off the emissions so it doesn’t pop and fart on deceleration. I just used a 1/2” ball bearing and stuffed it in the pair air tube so it can’t puff air in anymore and bingo bango!!
Are those the stock tires?
Hey 👋🏻 they are Dunlop D606
is it lighter than the original?
Yes it is way lighter than the original exhaust is and the can stays way cooler than the stock one too
Thank you @@advriley
@@basilistitieh5862you’re welcome! Have an awesome day. Ride safe 🦾🏍️
How fast is it now?
Better throttle response & sounds way better. Not sure how much faster it is though
Where can I buy it, do you have a link?
Do you mean the exhaust?
Yes please
@@advriley Yes, the exhaust
@@gonca1976if you are in USA contact Slavens Racing they are the ones that hooked me up with this exhaust
@@scottvc8838 if you are in USA contact Slavens Racing they are the ones that hooked me up with this exhaust
An after market exhaust is a waste of money on this bike. What it really needs is decent tires and upgraded suspension.
Thank you so much for your opinion. The exhaust actually helps this bike a lot with the 550 performance kit I’ve installed on it as well. The exhaust sounds great and is ways less restrictive than stock 😁
Every dual sport bike needs better tires but manufacturers have to put on something that’s good for the masses and not every dual sport bike sees first or even gravel.
Yes I do agree that stiffer suspension would benefit this bike in every way! Ride on dude 🦾
Mouse kid
The handlebar guards are shit!but the exhaust is beautiful!
Thanks dude. The handguards are actually a handlebar muff because I ride in below freezing temperatures up here in Canada 😜
@@advriley ok,but the handguards are 🤮.sorry!
ADV Riley, I always watch everyone video til the very very END, even if my comments are off topic.

Hey, my real life Friend HQDS is going to "Critter_moto" 2024 'Get Lost... Find Yourself' Ride on Vancouver Island.
I might even go too. What if You & "Range Road Moto" join us.?
Thank you so much! Critter Moto has an awesome event there and I hope to one day go to it.
Is it important enough to you that you would want to go in the Summer of 2024.? The Tickets cost money & are for sale now. What do you think of coming with "Hill Quest Dual Sport" & I.? He is going Ride to Vancouver Island (on one of his 5 Bikes) I want to Rent a Cargo Van (with unlimited kms) & be his Support Vehicle. If the weather turns nasty we can all crawl into the Van. If I bike breaks down, maybe 2 can fit into the Van. Don't wanna sleep in a Tent, dont wanna pay a hotel, again the Van.! 👍
Waste of money for the power gain..
Thanks for your opinion.. just curious who said I’m after more power 😋 less heat build up than the stock exhaust was mainly what I’m after
@@advriley money wasted...
😆 ok.. thank you again for your opinion
@@advriley it's more of a fact than a opinion..fyi.
Thank you so much for your information
Uuuuu ... loud and obnoxious!
It’s surprising good sound with the baffle in! The sound isn’t loud and annoying it’s a nice tone to it and it doesn’t carry far like bigger 4 strokes do.
@@advriley My heart sank when i bought my KTM 525exc and the owner said"ive cut all the baffles out and made my own performance exhaust"😀Luckily i found a brand new old stock unit! This crf exhaust is throbbing but mellow.
Shouldn't have revved it up until it gets up to operating temperature at a minimum.Let the seals and everything seal up and you forgot the spark.Arrester now you can't go out in the woods get a carbon fiber heat shield to top it off!
Thanks so much for your input 😜 Bike was warmed up when revved up braap braap
