Excellent talent, congratulations! I'm from Brazil and I really like vintage guitar models. I believe that each one has its own particularity that echoes a story through the sound of wood. After seeing this video I got really interested and I'm getting one of this 1967 LG-0 model from Japan.

Got the same model, “58” LGO. Needed rebuilding so added a new solid top with X bracing. Sounds awesome!

I'm being handed down an all original '58 LG-0 in a couple weeks. One owner. It has been sitting in a corner without strings since the mid 70's and I've been begging to fix it up since the 80's. I'm a luthier and can't decide if I'll change the chunky ladder bracing or not. Prob not even though yours sounds really great. Serial number is on the neck block. T6000 27 (plus a burn mark which could be 2 more digits. )

Thanks! Yes a great guitar. Strings are D'Addario EJ-16 phos.bronze light gauge, and pretty old ones, so you know this guitar has muscle and punch.

Love it. Is the pick guard original? Or did some not come with the 3 screw pick guards? Really awesome. Dream guitar

Hi Quinn, thanks. I made this pickguard using the original black one (with 3 screws) as a template. Looks and feels better to me.

Thanks Jose. The song is Freight Train by Elizabeth Cotten. I have a singing version of this played on a Martin 000-15m. Thanks for watching.
