Fifa telling managers which players to field😂
"Yeah, these 16 year olds we brought are the best players in the club, honest."
FIFA underestimating that players can just rop up and say my ankle hurts and bang they’re not in the starting XI for any games.
funny thing is we're already seeing this from players not wanting to participate (I assume) in the upcoming international break
@@0xBK201 and fair play to them I say
literally
Exactlyyyyy! Im surprised that this question wasn't brought up. So many stupid questions but this is one question that really needs to be answered cause how do you police that kind of an action by a player, unless ofc the club insists that a player must be available for selection if he's fit.
Well they can tell them "bring your best players" but how do they police that and how do they decide what a club's strongest eleven is and whether they've obeyed these regulations or not. Will there be fines if clubs don't do it like will Chelsea get in trouble if Cole Palmer doesn't play every single minute. This just seems so daft.
Maybe clubs need to get used to rotating their squads more in this landscape
And that's how u killed the quality of the Games, instead of watching Haaland we have to Watch Mctee
Yes, an opportunity for clubs to hire more players. All round job opportunities for footballers world wide, in a very competitive space with few spots for academy players to make it to the top level.
Or just reduce the number of games?
What a load of crap...MLS supporter's shield is qualification for CWC? 100% would never even be considered if Messi wasn't on the team. 👎🏾
The gift just keeps on giving when it comes to FIFA. They just do not care about player welfare.
I feel like clubs will only take part in this to have access to that early transfer window.
FIFA is clueless 😂
Who will decide if the club used its best squad.
FC25 ratings 😂
The same way you decide who is the best 11 in your favourite club. Really easy.
@@ifl1476 check Pep's interview, you will understand it's not easy like you suggested
@@ifl1476 watch Pep's interview you will understand
@@ifl1476 Yep you can't stop a team from fielding this player or that player. Pep can say mcatee is currently better than Haaland today
Just incase anyone had any doubt about fifa making rules up as they go
No one will take this seriously with the amount of games they are currently playing. And if you force them to, believe me players will start striking
The best city player on the field is gonna be Rico Lewis. The rest will say they have discomfort in their ankles.
They feel really entitled 😂. Who determines what my best team is? If I’m the manager, I can simply say my 17 year old midfielder is the best and my regular starter is no longer my best.
How is FIFA going to police this if "the best players" for any club is ultimately subjective?
No one asked for this
Non European clubs & fans did actually…
@@_warra_trophy_ 😂😂😂😂 sigh
Obviously FIFA asked for it (for their own bottom line)
@AlanHinson that's a moronic statement - plenty of quality in Africa and South America
@AlanHinson your ignorance is hilarious. doubt you've ever stepped out of europe
How does FIFA dictate what the “strongest” squads are for the coaches and teams?
Wages?
Who played the most on average over the course of the preceding season
@@guye94 Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri are arguably the best players at City, but won’t play nearly as many games as Jack Grealish and Mateo Kovacic. Reece James is Chelsea’s best fullback and maybe only Cole Palmer is a better player right now, but he might not play as many games as Malo Gusto. Certainly not perfect
@@dewiwilliams4821 Plenty of players who are high earners aren’t starters
@@guye94 Yh but there is no rule in forcing them to play , Pep can say KDB's levels dropped I'm playing so and so instead.
This won't go ahead. It has to get scrapped.
I don’t think people realise how big of a problem FIFA is in right now.
They have a legal battle to fight with unions first, meanwhile has to drum up interest for sponsors, find a broadcaster in every region, prepare training bases for a 32 team tournament all in next few months. And the fact that host is USA will mean it will cost way more to host it than Europe because of logistics alone.
Middle East money usually bails out FIFA, and its quite telling that they have shown no interest in sponsoring or hosting a tournament which is supposed to be the clash of ‘best in the world’
The only option I can see with all these extra games is bigger squads in the future . 35 man squads in future
send the kids, FIFA can do one
There’s No way fans from New Zealand and Africa are going to watch New Auckland versus Wydad in the US and people in the US won’t attend these sort of games either, cancel this tournament while there’s still time
There are Morrocans and New Zealanders (or whatever they are called) in the US. Besides, random match ups like these happen in the actual World cup so no big deal.
@@Chippychips8-2 yeah but the World Cup is special, this is a competition most people don’t want and if My team Chelsea play in this and Cole Palmer breaks his leg I’ll be livid. One of our players Loftus Cheek got injured in a friendly match in the US days before a Europa league final he was out for the remainder of the year. Guardiola is asking for the following season to start later and De bruyne has asked to not play for the Belgium team this month.
@@costa7908 The schedule certainly needs to be adjusted. However, who are you speaking on behalf when you say "most people".
@@Chippychips8-2 Well ok I don’t want it maybe people from other continents do but I’m firmly against I won’t be watching even if it’s free to air 😊
@@costa7908most people don’t live in Europe. Europe isn’t the center of the planet. A lot of people around the world want to see this.
I just love how Europeans love to point out American ignorance and then start acting likewise….
If I was a player I'd 100% get injured on June 12
As an American, winning the Supporters Shield means nothing anymore, it's all about the playoffs. Inter Miami haven't played 1/4 of the league because of how big the league is and unbalance the conference schedule is. The Supporters Shield is like an in class quiz, lets see how they do on the final (the playoffs).
Deciding a league with a knockout tournament is beyond silly.
@@a-walpatches6460 I mean... if you think the champions league, World Cup, Euros, FA Cup are all silly because they decide things by a knockout tournament then I can't really help you.
@@phillipspanne2373he literally said deciding a league… then you go and mention a bunch of tournaments
@@phillipspanne2373 If you think the FA cup, Euros, World Cup and Champions League (despite the name) are leagues then nobody can help you. Imagine deciding the premier league with a few random matches at the end of the season, and no clubs being relegated or promoted. Utterly ridiculous! No wonder nobody else watches your leagues.
@@a-walpatches6460 That is why there are two trophies, one for the most consistente team over the saison and the other, the best team on the day.
Clubs need to unite against Fifa or boycott their competition. But it won't happen because the profits in football are massive at the top level and greedy club owners still want more.
Nothing will change until fans start coming together to make a stand. Which is extremely unlikely. The only other slim option is players going on strike. But this would only make a small difference if we're lucky.
@@juniorlombrado938 You make a great point mate. And in fairness I agree with most of what you say. But the reality is. If we want to see top players playing at their very best. We need to give them a little more time to rest and recover in the summer no matter what competition it is. If we don't. Then I think we will continue to see more players suffering burn-out and more players getting longer term injuries.
In the lassana diarra case fifa said they need to have restrictive transfer rules in order to maintain squad stability during competitions.
So we now know that they committed perjury.
You cannot force clubs to send their strongest squads. You just say they are injured.
The result of this will be more money and more games for the best clubs, so they will need more of the best players, but now they can afford it. Then we’ll see the likes of City having 11 players not playing, that could do well in the premier league if they were the starters. This so they can rotate a lot.
It will only make the league less competitive.
Important enough that I’ll pay no attention to it.
It won’t be taken seriously by fans.
Que fãs,de onde são esses fãs?
Then the clubs do not go.
What are the clubs, associations doing for players after the tournament? All good and well "forcing" them to be part of it but how do you manage rest and preparation for the next season
A waitress Cleaners carers work very hard for 18 hrs in a day. A surgeon could be working 24 hrs.
What are these footballers complaining about playing 90 minutes every 3 days with 20 other players replacements. What a rubbish argument. Paid 300k a week they taking the piss.
We want to see the best play with and against each other.
I predict a lot of injuries in the run up to this tournament
This is a really huge mistake by FIFA because the best players will be worn down by the long domestic season and they’ll be playing in very hot, humid conditions if they’re not playing in a domed stadium. It’s gonna hurt the 25-26 season big time.
well, it gives the chance for losers team to go far or win the competition. Which would be a pretty big humilation for the bigger clubs, though i think even the academy players of those big clubs are at least on par with the stars players of the non european clubs. So, it could be a good way to let play some of young talents...
It’s a pity that the Club World Cup isn’t gonna be in FC 25. That would have been fun, but without leagues like Liga MX in the game it wouldn’t really work…
chelsea having 40 players on the books doesn't look that bad now LOL
We don't need a FIFA Club World Cup like this.
Imagine if teams (especially the best teams in Europe) decided to pull out of the tournament in the last minute/second.
i wish they do! i really wish..
Yes me too. I hope the best teams that have qualified for the Very Unwanted FIFA Club World Cup just withdraw from it.
@@alistairm5775they would be punished by UEFA.
@@ifl1476don't think they actually would, there's friction between fifa and uefa
This is very european biased, european clubs have to compete With the rest of the world.
Football is international and thats what makes it magical
I do agree needs to be better planning and balance of competitions player burn out is bad
Can't wait for FIFA telling all the stars "stop complaining about FIFA forcing you play while injured and stop calling this a useless tournament"
These regulations are unfair because even if teams didnt have their best team the cup would still be a high level.
This guy really likes to re explain something that’s already been said
How much u rotate for other tournaments
There's one good thing with this thing it only happens once every 4 years and not every year like previous non-sense tournament of this.
I think it will be a cracking tournament but there is a big problem.
My Club one of the biggest in the world is in there, but bigger club than Chelsea, Man United & Liverpool to name 2 is not in the tournament is like not having Argentina and Brazil not in the world cup.
Fifa have to find a way to include the top 10 biggest supported club in the world in the tournament, otherwise the tournament won't be taken seriously.
You mean include clubs in a not sporting merit? Sounds horribly wrong.
it will just be treated like pre-season games they normally do in the states or Asia..
The players have all the power. They shouldn't give into this nonsense tournament. Fifa should of kept the tournament format the way it is, instead of trying to compete with the Uefa Champions league.
If I were a player I would renegotiate my contract going further to be left out of the FIfa Club world cup and or domestic tournaments so I could rest and get the best out of myself without risking injury. Injuries cost the players more and potentially their careers if they're not careful.
Everybody's injured in June so won't be available to play in your silly tournament, sorry.
I would have said to take it serriously if they wasn't trying to force Messi into it. So there are no credentials to play in it then? Farce....
Actually, just like in the world cup in the club world cup the host country, city can have their team in the competition. The tournament is the US and the first match is in Miami... Inter Miami is the best team this saison in US, proved by winning trhe supporter shield with most points ever ... Ergo Messi and Inter Miami has a valid cause to be in the tournament. On the other Hand, if AL Nassr would be invited, that would be a tragedy ... xd
They want to ensure that the best players are present at this tournament, all to be found in Europe.
How fifa rating whose the club's players it is obvious whose the best players at each club. But what if a manager just turns up a say some 16 year is their best player because it is partly opinion and partly fact.
With Inter Miami qualifying, that adds to how money-hungry of an idea Fifa Club World Cup is.
Sure city will just win it and have it took off them 😂
City is not bring accused of sporting corruption not a single charge of cheating has been levied against City.
@@ifl1476 he crossing fingers that City will get stripped of a title they won in 2025 for giving Manuel Pellegrini an off the books personal day😂😂
How did Chelsea qualify?
Fifa are a joke. If you have to force teams to play their best players, it shows that they knows teams don’t care about the tournament. Teams should just boycott the tournament and players should ask their teams to leave the tournament for the quality of football throughout the year
I don't think players are going to care about this tournament
Oh they care. It's why the players union are suing fifa saying they are playing too many games. We'll see what the court says.
This is ridiculous, already seeing the standard of football dropping and this is gonna make it worse.
Estevao and Paez about to cook
Imagine Chelsea resigning KdB and him playing against City in the CWC in later stages
The players should get together and boycott it
I completely understand the need for football to be global and improving other leagues around the world but if we're going to have this we need to drop the league cup in this country. It's just too many games
To be fair, why does England have two cups first of all? I never understood it, just seems so unecessary
Now that Inter Miami have been added there can't be any hint of credibility left
Fans, clubs, players and managers: "We don't take the FIFA Club World Cup seriously because its the newest competition, with no history or marvel and primarily because our calendars are so rammed already we simply haven't got the time or the players to do it sustainably at a top level"
Fifa: "WE WILL MAKE SURE YOU PLAY IT WITH YOUR BEST SQUAD"
Great idea 💡
Being saying this for years
Am a Chelsea fan, but I have no clue how Chelsea are in the fifa club world cup. How did they qualify. Considering their form in the past few seasons
Won the Champions League once a long time ago in a galaxy far far away is the only explanation 😅
youre not a chelsea fan
this should be boycotted and protested , they treat players like cows
Tournament without Chelsea cannot stand.
This sounds like a mess
Chelsea? What did I miss?
They were the previous team before city to Win the UCL I guess
You missed 2021
should be a tournament for youngsters
Seriously, this is the stupidest tournament ive ever heard of. How are players supposed to rest. All about money, just as bad as the super league yet because its fifa its okay, joke
The idea and the concept is great. But, the schedule certainly needs to be sorted out. At least the tournament is every 4 years.
FIFA can't force clubs to field or bring their best players as they don't have the power to do so. Most big European teams will have no choice than to bring their reserves and under 23 squads as they have to prepare for season which is their bread and butter. The best fifa can hope for is that clubs treat it as Their preseason.
Wtf are they doing to football
What a mess, and what happens when World Cup and Club world cup are at the same time?
This won’t happen though. It’s in 4 years intervals like the World Cup
Quality over quantity
Why would I wanna watch when my team ain’t in it? Only the fans of the teams playing will follow it. Rest of the world will ignore this for a big part.
I am not even sure its on the Dutch tele live. I don’t think it will be.
That's like saying football fans whose countries aren't playing in the world cup WON'T watch the world cup!!!
Naaaaaaah may the players fake injuries 😂
This is crazy
I think Inter Miami won some trophy for having a regular season or something like that. The higher-ups, yeah that qualifies them to play in the Club World Cup 😂
Fifa is going crazy 😧, I can't back FIFA no more
BREAKING - Both teams have had a massive outbreak of COVID, fortunately their Youth squads were unaffected
Don't the players play at the world cup with thier national teams?
Tukar rumput kepada cowgrass atau zoysia yang tumbuh melata. Bumbung stadium tertutup guna lutsinar dan tanduk kerbau. Akan mengurangkan risiko kecederaan pemain.
FIFA is all about money. Big star players = Big money = Overused players = injured players.
Rodri will be on the field in crutches lol
Absolute madness
It’s already so corrupt before the first ever match has been played. 😂
Nahh, it needs to happen because Europe club football CAN'T be considered the top level of football if Argentina won the 22 world cup!! Club and international NEED to correspond!!!
Fans don't want it and players don't want it makes sense to go ahead with it though. Who cares just say your toe is sore and you can miss it but im sure fifa factored in that
FiFA greed knows no bounds 😢
Auckland City dark horses if they run the u21 teams.
The owners want more games for more cash!
The influx of US corporations is dangerous for the supporters and the communities!
Football is about to burst
Turn up and play walking football
How much money does FIFA generates compared to Middle East? Which is more?
Its a stupid statement to be honest ...wat does best players even mean 😂😂🤣
Manchester United Right Now - We are not worried about Club World Cup 😂 We are not even in Champions League
What if people just don't watch it?
All the people whining and crying about this tournament, watch almost all those whiners are going to follow the tournament with excitement. I understand the implication of injury for the players.
Money money money ….. money $$$$$$
FIFA who care football the least money the most
We already have the UCL. Who needs a club world cup?
Non European clubs.
