I'm so grateful for their amazing job. And I wanted to say, there if you are not interested and see "The beauty of..." another cinematographic works for another country's...
I've never watched Pusher but from the visuals and camera set up it doesn't really feel like a movie to me, more like I'm having a real life experience with the characters
Wow that’s amazing you hit it right on the dot! That’s exactly what the director refn wanted it to feel like. Almost documentary style where you follow the characters around, that means he did his job!
3:27 That last shot from Pusher III, I don't know why, is one of the most memorable ending shot i've seen. Such a powerful image after all of what happened.
Really is! That final it blowed my mind. The empty pool, the pale light of the dawn, the crescendo of the ambient track... Such a great work! The Angel of Death is definitly my favorite.
@@urlittlewindmill All of them are pretty tragic, but I think tonny at least gets a little bit of hope in the end, even though all endings are very open. Milo's thing is pure stress from beginning to end
The Pusher trilogy is the most solid film series made about drugs and streets; we follow films from perspectives of characters, and captured angles are exceptional.
I am writing this after finishing all 3 movies of the Trilogy ( my favourite is 2nd one ) . The ' Pusher ' Trilogy movies were one of the best cinema i've ever experienced in 21 years of my life , i've seen a lot of gangster movies be it ' The Godfather ' Trilogy , 'Goodfellas' , Korean Gangster and Mafia movies like ' a Bittersweet life ' and ' New World ' but The 'Pusher ' trilogy was far better than all of these films , it felt like i wasn't watching a movie but a real person's life unfolding before me with a camera following them around wherever they go , everything felt so real , raw and realistic .
The Pusher trilogy has been captured in this issue with authenticity. Surprised to see how the selection gives us the feeling of augmented reality. Congratulations it was very interesting.
I know I'm just dreaming here but Pusher IV would be insane. The end of first movie made me interested to watch the next one, and by the end of the third movie I wanted nothing more than to see more stories in the world the dirctor has created in this trilogy. Such an amazing piece of work.
There was rumours at one point, about Refn wanted to make a chapter 4 and even a chapter 5, one of them centered around the story of Muhammed ( King Kong og Copenhagen) who we meet in chapter 3. and i guess the other chapter could be about Slacko ( Milos bodyguard in chapter 1). but again, only rumors :(. but it would be amazing if he did it. some of the greatest films, i have ever watched!!!
Just finished this trilogy and just bought it! So glad you made a video of it and using my favorite song from the trilogy! Flawless and so well done as always!
The first one was so cutting edge when it came out, the other two came out like 10 years later, because it was almost the only thing that could bring Refn out of debt - when I was a kid, the first one came out, and nobody in the whole world had seen anything like it before, it was so raw, and too close to reality in the Copenhagen drug scene, that it was impossible not to sit on the edge of your seat the entire time - it was a first of its kind, and has made Danish cinema, and especially Kim Bodnia a superstar - people sometimes forget that the first one was made in 96, and the second one in 04, a lot of things happened between that time, especially with film technology - with what was available at the time, the OG Pusher movie was an epic masterpiece from a debuting director
Para mi es un placer visual, el trabajo a ustedes hacen!! Es algo maravilloso, el como: combinan escenas exactas, los sentimientos que desean transmitir los personajes y todo ello. -Maravilla de arte con sus vídeos
I think you should do the Beauty of Vikings, Rome, The Tudors, Band Of Brothers, The Pacific, Deadwood, Friends, The Wizard Of Oz, Gone With The Wind, Casablanca, Citizen Kane, The Princess Bride, The Adventures Of Robin Hood, West Side Story (both 1961 & 2021), Ben-Hur, The Ten Commandments, Saving Private Ryan, Braveheart, The Passion Of The Christ, The Last Duel, and Titanic
Years ago I would scroll through the free On Demand movies on cable tv. I wasn't really into watching movies, but I watched Dirty Work first. Then original Lord of the Flies, the Seventh Seal, Mr. Majestyk, and some other films. I found Pusher on the list of movies and thought it was cool that they had Pusher II and Pusher III. I had no idea what they were about, but ended really liking all three. I really believed I was watching real people that were really messed up. People you would not want to meet. The remake was fun to watch, but not the same style or feel. They were not as real.
Can you do The Beauty of My Brilliant Friend, all seasons, especially 3? That is one of the most aesthetically pleasing shows I've ever seen. It's just so gorgeous the way it draws you into the story and beauty of the mundane of a friendship and life in post-war Naples

Once better call Saul ends, could you make “the beauty of better call Saul”using the song: Days of wine and roses, from the beginning of season 6?
Bodnia, Mikkelsen and Burić. Three amazing actors. They did an amazing job in these movies!!!
Such an underrated trilogy. The 2nd film is right up there as one of Refn's best work in my opinion.
What about Drive. That's an absolute masterpiece.
@@james87367 Pusher is much better. Bleeder is also very good. That movies are Refn at his best!
The second is a masterpiece.
2nd is good but “I’m the Angel of Death” is masterpiece
Pusher 3 is the best in my opinion, but all of them are individualy great.
it's ironic that the trilogy about the ugly side of life can have so many beautiful shots
I've never watched Pusher but from the visuals and camera set up it doesn't really feel like a movie to me, more like I'm having a real life experience with the characters
I’ve seen all three and you’re totally right, camerawork is so raw and dialogue is so realistic, it’s incredibly inspirational to new filmmakers.
The wonders of cinema verite
It is, it’s like a documentary. I’d watch them ASAP if I was you, all of them are fantastic.

The ending was great with it's ambient empty pool, empty heart sums up the nihilistic picture of the falling old drug lord
Plot twist: it's just another day at work for Milo
yeah, after all the stress he went through during his daughters birthday, he finally gets a moment of relief
milo standing above an empty pool in a red shirt is analogous to the scene where a man’s blood is drained above a basin.
Really is! That final it blowed my mind. The empty pool, the pale light of the dawn, the crescendo of the ambient track... Such a great work! The Angel of Death is definitly my favorite.
