also the Norwegian word for "locker" also means "closet" in Norwegian, so the locker was a metaphor for Isak being and getting out of the closet (hence also the scene in the earlier eps where Even is pushing his locker open eg.)... there's just so much symbolism in the show (There's even a ton of symbolism in the timestamp 21:21 which has been used in the season multiple times or with all the Romeo and Juliet references,, there are a ton of threads on Tumblr about all that stuff)

Can you imagine what it was like watching it day by day, clip by clip? We all became 17 year old gay guys in love. It was So hard! We lived WITH Isak through it all.
This is one of my favorite shows! You would have probably understood more in the beginning and some other parts if you'd watched the previous seasons, so i do recommend watching them for the full skam experience! Also Isak is 17 not 16, and isak's internalized homophobia would also be more understandable because of the previous seasons as well which is so sad that he was feeling that way. But he went through so much amazing character development this season we love to see it :') I was feeling that way about Even too then felt so bad for judging him 💔 he went back to sonja that time because of what isak said about mentally ill people, but his heart was still with isak sending him all those cute drawings he just didn't want isak to have to deal with a bipolar person. Isak and Even are just the cutest together i love them so much thanks for this long great reaction!
This series was so genius. That baz luhrman, Romeo and Juliet thing was a precursor to their Romeo and Juliet moments throughout the series. I love SKAM so much.
It was so fun watching you enjoy the show. I highly recommend druck. It was my fave of the three I saw (original, France and it) and I’ve heard it was the most different from the original. It’s definitely more of a mood, but I think you’ll love Matteo and David and the way they took the main plot points and switched things up. Matteo is way more a combo of isak and even, which is interesting, and which makes David a lot more mysterious since he’s not all super outgoing like even. And it’s set in Berlin and that, combined with the dreamy melancholic music, gives it such a great vibe.
This season has a lot off Romeo and Juliet refrences. That is why Isak when he read the text again tought it was a suicde text due to their conversation about losing the love off ur life. But in the end the rescue each other and that is a Pretty Woman refrence
I can see that this series is great, tell about different problems, not only about sexual orientation and relationships but also about mental problems. I've been just reading about bipolar disorder and I think that everyone should knows basic information about this and several others mental illnesses because around us are people with these problems and it's good to me aware and this could help us to know how react on these people. Also I've thinking about my mental problems and started reading about them. This series is a good awaking. I want to add one thing, they should show in series talk between Isak's and Even's girlfriends because is important to talk also with your ex about this they deserve explanations and honesty like they were to theirs buddies :)
And Isak has smary and good guy friends. I understand him why he feel weird and confused after this action with Even's issue. He didn't know what is going on. It's new for him but I think that Even seriously love and need him ♡♡
I don't know if someone already said it in the comments and this is really random but there kind is "parallel universes" in Skam cause there's a bunch of versions/remakes of the series, from different countries, so we have Isaak and Even, but we also have Lucas and Elliot from France (my 2nd fav after the original) Matteo and David from Germany Martino and Niccolo from Italy Cris and Joana from Spain (+ Lucas that's actually Even, Cris is Vide) Robbe and Sander from Belgium and there's Isaac american version, Shay, and from Holand, Lucas (but both versions were canceled after first season)

I don't know If you are interested in reacting to an Asian LGBT series, but I just wanted to recommend reacting to these three very popular Thai BL (BL meaning Boys Love). I give all of these 10/10 !!! 1) "I told sunset about you" and the sequel "I promised you the moon" This is very movie-like and gives of Call me by your name vibes! It was very popular when it came out and won many awards! It's about finding who you are and what you want. Both seasons have 5 episodes. 2) "Bad Buddy" This show came surprisingly and breaks almost every stereotype I have seen in Asian screen LGBTQ portrayal. This series shows healthy communication and mutual understanding of each other. The family of the main characters are rivals and hate each other. So they grew up next door having to hate each other. Until they didn't. (Kinda Romeo and Juliet without the tragic ending) 3) "Not Me" This show is still ongoing, but has only 3 episodes left. It's an action filled BL nobody shouldn't miss out on! This show doesn't centre around romance, instead it focuses on important and very real social issues. But of course the romance is not lacking at all. The twin brothers Black and White were separated after their parents divorce and lived drastically different lives. White grew up rich and privileged in a foreign country, while his brother Black grew up full of hardships and experienced first hand the unfair treatment of the law. When White returns to Thailand after 10 years and finds his brother severely beaten up in a coma, he takes his place in his gang to figure out who hurt Black. While he is disguised, he follows the crew on dangerous missions to rebel against the power-hungry and learns and grows as a person. The only problem is that Sean, who used to hate Black, notices that something has changed. I promise you, this show is full of action and different emotions! Definitely one of the best shows I watched ever! If you are interested, please check them out!
