I understand some Japanese, but I really appreciate the English subtitles. The food looks tasty. I have to check out Little India the next time I'm in Tokyo!
@@AsagisLifeNoBSJapan no, it's just the menu you saw, it had everything full of spices. In India, not every person likes to eat spices and yes it is true that a normal Indian would find Japanese food to be plain maybe we got taste of spices in our memory quite deeply. we have a habit to add a pinch of spice in everything.
That food looked so good. I remember when i visited Japan a few years ago i was surprised how much curry was available. Seems very popular. Good food and good friends.
Welcome to my world and my people welcome to the most diverse cuisine on the planet and welcome to भारतीय लोग भारतीय भोजन. Maybe it's time to think about going to India because unless you do you will never experience the best food on the planet :-)
You have keep in mind what region the Indian food is from. Southern food is more spicy, northern food is mild, and coastal foods are more salty. Once you to southern tip and down it is hot!
@@Paws.of.Justice Not really... It depends on the region the dish is from... A lot of traditional dishes are supposed to be spiced (lots of flavouring herbs like cardamom, clove, cinnamon, star anise etc) as opposed to spicy... Like Biryani for eg. Biryani in Hyderabad (middle south) is way more flavourful and spiced than say Biryani from Mumbai, which would be more spicy.
It is just unthinkable to have beer while lunching in India at family restaurants, though it's been changing these days at metro cities with younger generation.
when we traveled in India we mostly ate at small and family restaurants and I wouldn't say they had less spicy food :D we even had to learn the phrase in Hindi like "sabji without pepper at all" :D
All three of you are amazing. Indian food is usually to spicy for me, but I am glad you and your friends enjoyed it. BTW I loved the sound effects. Lol. Be well!!!
Ooooh seeing all this awesome Indian food makes me jealous. I've got to find some Indian restaurant... Greetings from a Ukrainian! 🇺🇦 (That's Eastern Europe)
I lived in Tokyo many years back. Thanks for sharing the video. There were not many Indian restaurants back in 2006. We had to order Indian grocery online. Now everything has changed. I need to visit Japan soon. You should have taken a Indian friend who will help you pick the right stuff
Nice video Asagi. You had some good fun with your friends eatng some Indian cuisine. It looked really good as I too like Indian food when I get the chance to eat it. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!
I like it when you hang out with your high school friends! You're all very brave for trying those spicy Indian foods. The only Indian food I like is samosas (which are sort of like spicy potatoe and vegetable filled egg rolls). 🙂
Nice video. She is right, depending on the region homemade cooking in India is not always spicy. Tamarind water is also used in Panipuri or Fuchka snacks in India.
Cinnamon is a great spice for almost anything, including ice cream and especially toast. Nice to see you with yoiur high school friends for another video..ganbatte!

Authentic Indian foods are spicy but in foreign countries Indian restaurants modify their dishes according to locals' taste buds so they put cream and sugar in curries that's why you don't feel spicy.
Still being able to hang out with high school buddies, after grown up to adults, is precious moment.
The curry platters looks so delicious.
Yeah I'm so blessed that I have friends like them 😇
Thanks for checking out the video!
めちゃ楽しそう♪ 👍😁 We are the champions! Nice! I love Indian Curry!

I never thought I'd see ice cream that contained spices in it 😂
Actually, most Indian 'sweets' and desert confections contain spices.
They put spices to anything 😂

Depends on region and type of food.

@@Paws.of.Justice Nope, certain Indian dishes aren't spicy at all. Butter chicken is definitely not spicy.
Never seen this "Boss" Beer in India
Depends on the region I guess?
They have it in Punjab
@@AsagisLifeNoBSJapan its a very niche brand , not common in india
Yeah here people tend to drink carlsberg, kingfisher and heineken

I like how you pronounce indian names with a Japanese accent. It's cute.

Basically Indian Curries are Spicy. What You all are eating seems to be made for Japanese taste. Hence, non spicy.
I like it when you hang out with your high school friends! You're all very brave for trying those spicy Indian foods. The only Indian food I like is samosas (which are sort of like spicy potatoe and vegetable filled egg rolls). 🙂
Samosa is also good! Very filling.

Wow,super! .I am from India.
Nice video. She is right, depending on the region homemade cooking in India is not always spicy. Tamarind water is also used in Panipuri or Fuchka snacks in India.
Gotcha. I liked their home cooking style because it's not too heavy as naan bread and spicy curry.
Come to India, we have many japanese youtubers like violinist kohei & Mayo Japan. You'll love it.
I read somewhere that curry is a British interpretation of real Indian foods. Curry means sauce in one of the Indian languages.
Hi Asagi, could you please suggest any Indian restaurant at Hachioji
There's also more than curry in Indian culture
i would gladly introduce them to our culture as much as i would like to learn more about the japanese culture.
Nice! And your friends are willing to try something new! I usually just go for butter chicken and cheese naan when I eat Indian
My friends always find interesting foods and take me there haha.
Naan is good. But I prefer chapati or biriyani to go with curry 🍛
Cinnamon is a great spice for almost anything, including ice cream and especially toast. Nice to see you with yoiur high school friends for another video..ganbatte!
Yeah I love cinnamon toast too!

Indian food is great! Here in America I always order lamb curry.
Lamb curry sounds good!
Biryani is good. I'll take a spicy beef curry or Tandoori chicken any day of the week. That dessert looked super delicious as well :-)
Tandoori chicken is also nice but it's heavy for me to go with curry so most of the time I give up ordering 😂
