Absolutely gorgeous! One of my upperclassman is planning on playing this for solo and ensemble! I’m hoping I can play this my senior year. It’s such a beautiful piece
Incrível melodia com perfeita execução, tenho me interessado pela trompa como instrumento, e vendo como pode ser lindo seu som quando perfeitamente executado fico maravilhado, seus posts me tem animado muito. Muito obrigado!!! João Carlos - Brasil
as a fellow horn player, can you tell me what mouth piece you used? the range is so hard in this piece, I had to use a mid range one, just so I had a chance at that low f at the end. oh and grats on finding someone to learn that piano part, you think the horn part looks scary, look at the piano...
Hello. I use normally a medium range mouthpiece for most of playing, except for really high baroque repertoire. Normally I play on a E. Schmid no.5 (digital version)
+Ricardo Matosinhos its the 5 octives, I bought 3, but I never really felt comfortable with one, I have a high low mid, and I think I need a better mid, you know, at the end hold the thumb, it ain't easy, I was hoping you had a good mid range mouth piece suggestion, and thats my fav piece, russian rondo and finale, you sound 'sharp' like a trumpet I was never able to get that
+Mike Anderson It really depends on your playing. Start with a rim you feel comfortable with and then try different depths on that rim, unfortunately you might have to try a few mouthpieces...

Qual modelo de trompa é esta?
É uma trompa dupla Schmid
@@rmatosinhos muito obrigado, dificilmente aparece uma dessas usada aqui no Brasil :)
Bravoooo :)
Ricardo:
It's difficult to determine which horn you're playing.
Is it a Rauch?
it is an Engelbert Schmid double
