Probably the biggest improvement for me overall as it makes my own setup SO much simpler! Great job, Kemper. I am still amazed how many features you have provided that keep my toaster uptodate! I love your attitude
Just wow Kemper!. Today I tossed my Focus Rite audio interface to carton bag! The Kemper usb audio makes it so much easier with just my toaster running. THANK YOU, you're amazing guys.
Please add the option to record at 48Khz sample rate. I have tried the USB recording with Cubase, and it forces a sample rate of 44.1, slowing the project speed down. I also tried aggregating my Apollo Twin with the Profiler, and the it will record and play back, but the recorded audio is full of clicking noises.
This is so good!! Usually I didn’t bother recording DI or dry signal because it felt tedious to connect all the cables, but now I literally just have to create 2 new tracks and it’s there. Thank you for this! With that said, I’ve had some problems with the feature. Sometimes when opening up rig manager while using the kemper as input source, the kemper begins to make digital distorted noises. I usually have to reconnect the cable to solve it. My sample rate is 44100 hz, so thats not the problem. Any thoughts?
I only want to play music trough nu Kemper with my MacBook. But my MacBook doesn’t recognize my Kemper. But rigmanager works fine. Somebody please help.
Captain Lee at Andertons recently expressed his astonishment that the Kemper software was still being updated. That's what you get when your original box has a powerful Unix processor, DSPs, and a high resolution screen. Unfortunately, USB specs and the like might eventually make us upgrade the hardware... but maybe Ethernet will solve even that.
I had no idea that a gadget I would purchase in 2024 (a Kemper player) would have so many issues with it functioning as a sound card. I have various guitar processors and they all function without an issue, as a usb audio interface. I've tried everything, but "studio one" won't let me select my "KP" as a sound card. Please give the issue some thought.
I cant see the page USB audio on my kemperwhen i press output? And my usb cable is connected to usb on my kemper to my mac. i have the page now after usb update, but my mac still dont find my kemper. I need to send it to kemper support.
Hi. I tried to record by the USB - DI signal and Master Mono. Profiler was my input interface and Focusrite Scarlet 2i2 was output interface. I know there is a latency if i wanna play realtime by DAW, so i mute record monitoring and had monitoring only by Kemper cabinet (i have a powered Kemper). But there was a latency in recorded tracks too. I dont understand that, can you tell me, where is my mistake? And second question, DI and Mastered track had a very loud signal with mess, where can i turn down input signal?
Hello, just a question about downloading new profiles. I just purchased a profile pack but I can’t get them to work. I’m pretty new to kemper (had for 2 or 3months) but I have purchased and successfully loaded other packs and I didn’t encounter any problems. I did the same process as I did in the past but I’m not finding the new profiles when I browse for them. I do not use rig manager yet, just using the kemper directly. So, I got these new profiles, took the zip file and put the contents into the share file on the formatted flash drive (same flash drive I have used with other profiles). It says they were imported but they aren’t there! Even if I view “last imported” the files aren’t showing up. Spent all my jam time last night fiddling with this and got a bit frustrated 😭. I even reformatted that flash drive and added the the profiles again, but when I go to import them into the kemper, the kemper is now telling me they have already been imported and are in my browser menu/pool, but when I look there they just aren't there. I have 703 profiles so it's not full. Would they be located somewhere else because they were called "performance profiles"? I am still quite new to this so i'm sorry for such novice questions. Sorry for the long comment, just looking for any info/advice. Thanks!!
I've tried reamping through USB, and i notice that the Clean Sens worked the other way around? If i wanted to boost the signal i had to give it a -6db instead of +6db. Is there a reason for that?? thanks!!
I'm struggling to get Kemper USB recording to work in Windows 11, latest Rig Manager and Kemper firmware, using Cakewalk DAW (Bandlab). Should I be able to set Cakewalk's driver mode to WDM/KS or do I need to use ASIO4ALL? My speakers are Behringer MS20's connected directly to the PC - I'd like to use these as the output...possible? (I normally select 'Speakers (Realtek USB Audio)' for Windows to make them active playback). I do have an audio interface that is working with the Kemper and that I normally use, but I'm keen to see how Kemper's new USB recording works (bypassing the need to connect to the interface).
Am I the only one having latency issues while recording with USB? Have to turn the sample rate waaaay down, which is a problem for my PC and still not perfect...
Theoretically you're getting the purest signal of the Kemper's output by recording via USB. Putting it through other USB interfaces renders the Kemper's sound at the mercy of said interface's preamps and, generally speaking, they are typically not as flattering for hi definition recording
@@joshtrimble5517 thanks Josh, i thought this may be the case, with there being one less step of Digital/audio conversion. But wasn't sure on USB's capabilities of transferring audio. Will have to try it out soon!
@@joshtrimble5517 sorry for the novice question. I just got a used kemper (unpowered toaster) a week ago and I’m loving it! I have a lot to learn but have been watching lots or tutorials. I would really like to record myself playing along to backing tracks or other music. Can this now be done with only the kemper connected to PC via USB and using a DAW such as reaper? I was under the impression that I would also need a audio interface such as the Scarlett. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Absolutely you can! :) You just need the latest software update of the most recent operating sysmte 9.0.8. I'll copy the download link below and within the download there instructions as to how to update your profiler. Once you update, your Profiler should show up in your DAW in your input/output audio devices as "Profiler"@@slashtrio
@@joshtrimble5517 hi there, sorry I never responded! I have been slow to get to this but am now trying to get the latest updates so I can use USB. Do you mind copying / posting the link you mentioned? Thanks!

Incredible update feature and brilliant work by the team that put this together.

I am so glad that re-amping has become so accessible and easy with this update, thank you for the video
Brilliant! Thanks - I missed so much reading the manual that was nicely explained in the video. 🎉
First. Thank you Kemper amps for your amazing product.
nice, how about a video on reamping with the Kemper whilst recording?great video thanks.
coming up very soon! 🖖🏼
I would like to know if you have the same tutorial for window 10
Have they released a driver?
I tested it in 3 DAW's on 2 pc's and it doesn't work as a recording device

Yes please !! Have the same issue with Logic Pro - very important for film composer !!! thanks
unlike in this video; i do not have profiler showing as a device in both of my DAW (cubase, studio one),but it does show in the windows sound devices.
Why not talk about USB drivers and the need for ASIO4all?
Totally agreed!.
For some reason I can’t get this to work with Reaper

Explain the Unix processor to me, please.
I thought the Kemper has a Motorola processor, is that correct?
So what is DI low and DI hi in output??

How do you switch to USB initially?
What is the limit on the length of USB cables for audio recording?
Awesome

Have you solved this Jaride? I have the same issue
Why not just eliminate the 2i2 altogether when recording guitars ?

My MacBook Air signal seems to be too hot over USB. The Kone "farts". When I plug via AUX it's fine. How to fix this?
very helpful, thanks!
Next upgrade kemper should have more inputs in DAW so I can record also bypassed sound in parallel with stereo signals affected
