Today marks the dawn of a new beginning. I am no longer burdened by the shackles of trauma and shame. So from this day forward, I am choosing to walk in the light of my truth.
I am a survivor of SA.
It has been a long painful journey but I stand before you today- healed, whole, and free 🦋
I am beyond grateful to have the privilege of sharing my story with the world. I want to thank each and every one of you that reached out to me privately during my time away, your kind words have been forever stored in my heart. I also want to thank all of you that stuck around and patiently waited for my return. Thank you, I love all of you ❤️

I'm so proud of you daughter 💓 it has been a very hard , scary journey and you are doing it day and day out. You are so loved! Being by your side these last 9 moths has been the honor of my life. Healing together, getting stronger together ❤ and identifying our new roles as mother and daughter in adult hood has been enlightening, fun 😄 and worth every tear. ❤ you are and have ways been my sunshine 🌞 , my baby and my rock 🪨 !

Thank you for sharing your story I had a very similar one growing up and I am in the process of therapy and healing now. As much as you don’t want to see people suffer it’s good to know that you are not alone in your feelings and a lot of what you felt as a result of the abuse you suffered I definitely feel and understand a little bit more hearing your story and what therapy has done for you, please continue sharing, I am a long-time subscriber around since you were living with your mother and going through your debt pay back, we are so similar it’s very strange but again good to know we are not alone.

Wow. Girl. Wow. I’m so sorry that happened to you. You did hide it very well because we had classes together and you were always “happy” and laughing. It was all a mask girl. Some days were good and happy, other days were really lonely. I’m grateful that I had a friend like you in high school to help me feel normal ❤️

Have you seen Brené Browns TED-talks on vulnerability? Listening to her were really enlightening to me, my trauma is different than yours but to be vulnerable is a struggle when you’ve lacked love and/ or care in your childhood. Like you, I’ve been working on things I’ve internalized.
Thank you 🤍 I love Brene Brown she actually played a huge role in my healing journey and having to courage to show up and be vulnerable in the harshness of this world.
