no plastic no programing no bs, miss those days
I look forward to C&C Equipment videos every day.
Never mind the tractor....The banter was the highlight...
For $4500 that’s a super deal. Of course the cost of Kevin’s unrelenting torment must be factored in too.
"Priceless."
I enjoyed you doing a small tractor. It's cool seeing something that an average DIYer might do
Clint class paint it please make it look new it deserves paint it’s a tidy little piece
@@vernonhuey5885bleed it
My thoughts exactly! Most of us dream or wish for a big dozer but a small tractor is the reality for most. It’s fun to watch them do it all.
We need a C&C crew video cover of “She thinks my tractor’s Sexy”, maybe in Christmas attire
What I like about the 1715 Ford Tractor is that there is a lot of metal. Still a solid built piece of machinery.
Please do more on this!! It was a fun video
I absolutely love that little Ford tractor. Awesome purchase! 👌 Thank you for sharing! 😊
You are winning with the tractor. I am very glad that it worked out for you.
I wanna see the quick attach install. Also that will make a dandy garden tractor for this spring, put a tiller on it and there ya go.
Clint buys another orphan. Welcome home, little buddy. Uncle Scott is getting you a new set of paws for your front, and you are going to feel much better, real soon.
You guys had almost as much fun working on her as I did watching you guys working on her.
Thanks for the laughs and the lessons.
Pray all are well and for a blessed time spent with family and friends over the holidays!
Kevin...it's pronounced F E R D.
Definitely NOT FERD!!! Possibly FURD (albeit the first letter needs amending?), or even go with the original acronym of FORD - (F'd Over Rebuilt Dodge).
Don't forget to keep the axles filled up with coolant!!! You don't want those puppies to overheat!
@trevorvanbremen4718
I stand corrected..lol..
Ford, fix or repair daily !😂
OMG guys! Y’all had me dying laughing…Lol. Great video….Merry Christmas to you all! Eagerly waiting for your next video here in Virginia!
That Lil tractor will probably outlast a new one!
The front axle needs 80w90 and needs to be half full. Both ends needs to be filled to the thread of the filling plug. Also 80w90. Transmission needs 10w30stou. I'm from Europe so I don't know if you have the same oil specs over there. Good luck men! It looks like someone filled the transmission with 80w90 or is it so thick from the cold? 😊
Its way around. S A E stands for ,,society of automotive engineers,,. They where americans. So yes we use the American viscosity specs. Its the worldwide standard.
Definitely looked like 80/90,it's what needed when pump is out of clearance 😅
Ford started using a standard oil about then for everything. If I remember it was 134-A. You would use if for everything except the engine.
Clint - I haven't laughed this hard in a long time!! The oil filter gumbo was incredible! The foam filled tires & the big mess made this an awesome video!! Glad you got it running! Thumbs up!! Stay safe! Jim
Wish I had a dollar for every one of those 1715's that I have assembled. For several years I assembled equipment for Ford/New Holland dealers. I would uncrate, assemble, and install a loader on them and set out on the front lot so the dealer could sell it. I loved those little tractors.
Yeah would love to see you add all attachments to the little Ford tractor! I know you can do it. This was a great video!! Thanks for sharing and I want to wish C&C Equipment and all your family and workers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New!!
Always nice to have a little tractor around I have a 1999 jd4200 now with over 4000 hours always kept inside looks very good runs good
Keeping a equipment inside of at least under cover certainly helps keep equipment in much nicer condition for much longer time and more importantly it prevents you from getting a wet ass in the morning and or after a rain or snow shower. I don’t know about you but I hate getting my ass wet unless there is a damn good reason.
Have a great day and a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Clint, you should talk to Captain Kleeman about the quick attach, he will get you fixed right up 🤔😉
Mmmmm. Bucket, forks, grappler. And that's just on the front end. You'd have quite a machine there.
That little tractor is actually in pretty good shape
Have to honestly say. Haven't laughed so hard in this video. Of course sausage fingers sounds more like Winnie-the-Pooh.!!😅
I enjoyed watching your Ford restoration. "Ford can hardly run"
I never lost faith in the ol FERD,
Dont forget about the tool giveaway!!!!!!
Awesome video!!!! Like always. 😁 Have a blessed week Mr. C & Mrs. C. Kev and the boy's also have a blessed week and keep up the good work!!!! Can't wait to bring home my tool box full of tools from Harbor Freight tools!!!! ❤️😂😁
Kevin you found the problem.... It's right on the arms😂😂😂
We have pulled some massive Elm logs with out old 79. Ford tractor. She's quite the lady. Loud strong and obnoxious!!😂😂
I like the variety of doing a tractor for a change. Try something else now.
I've owned a handful of those late 80s early 90s Ford tractors. They're hard to beat for sure!
It’s cool how you put the old Saturday or Sunday kung fu movie parts included in your videos. Do you remember when you watched them and seen their mouths moving and no sound. Then you hear the sound and the mouths are not moving. Some funny stuff. Brings back memories from way back then. lol 😂 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
A Ford guy with a wrench 🔧 in his hand. All right with the world
That's Santa's little Ford tractor, right there. Even if it's blue....
Dysfunctional....is probably an understatement. LOL!
Actually General Motors did make farm tractors they were short lived.
Randy to the RESCUE.....!
Randy shine it up and you can take it home to Mrs B!
Amazing and hilarious video. I have a soft spot for those little tractors. I spent a lot of hours on one cleaning dairy barns as a kid. You should keep it of you have a use for it. You ain’t kidding about the price, they sell for about the exact price they were new in 1996.
I would enjoy another video featuring this little beast.
The bad part is most of the fun was at your expensse lol
We enjoy most anything you work on Clint. Don't pay any attention to sasuage fingers.
I say 3 days suspension without pay who knocked the little Ford tractor😂😂
More videos on the little Ford tractor 👍
Paint the bucket blue and give it a bath!!
Bingo bango bongo, it's alive.
I don't think you're a Deere mechanic either there bud, you are just a helper.
Kevin great diagnosis as to why the :FORD" wouldn't start. LOL!!!!
Quick disconnect for the front attachments would be great.
Yes, show a quick attach video. Maybe flush the hydraulic system again as the cylinders and other stuff will have garbage as well. Best of the holidays for all of you.
When you figure out how much oil the front outer hub needs make a note in the repair book for future use
I like the little tractor. 😂
Might be the best video you guys have ever posted. Funny AF.
Might not hurt to run it a few hours then change the oils again just to get all of that old junk flushed out good. Looks good other than the lack of maintenance it had.
I have worked alongside
Get randy back !send Mr, Kevin to the paint shop !🎱
Those small ford's were tough machines, I had one
You honestly looked like you enjoyed working on the Ford. Hey, just another great tool for the tool box.
Here in the UK 🇬🇧 my ex-husband, car mechanic, used to say that FORD stood for Fix Or Repair Daily 😂😂😂
Merry Christmas all of you
Clint , Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you all your family and friends from Mississippi
I own 2 1920 ford newholland tractors and rebuilt the front 4 wheel drive front axle with all new bearings and seals you could put oil in the axel and it would pour out the final drives and on the ground. After rebuilding I put 80/90 weight gear oil in axel and final drives filled up to the opening .The part man at ford said the oil will go into the final drives from the axel and it does but very slowly .It passes through a cover on a bearing to make Its way down .
in 1919 GM did make a tractor at its Janesville Wisconsin plant
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND THE GANG
In Italy they say "Fatto Oggi Rotto Domani"
That is a SCORE!
Cool little tractor you've got there, and something a bit different for the channel. A nice Kevin paint job would finish it up nicely 😄
No! Clean it good w/ polish and toych up the rust, Let it ride!
Would he need primer toncover that blue with proper green?
It's about time you got something good to work on
All I want for Christmas is a quick attach video on the Ford 1715! Great video gentlemen.
You will be surprised how handy and how much you will use that little tractor around the house it will get places and do things a big one can't
Clint, you remind me of an ape sitting on a go-kart and I am a true FORD lover
Nice auction pick up Clinton.
Clinton you guys had a blast on this one....good times👍😂
I Have Had Good Luck With Mine It Is A Cold Blooded Tractor For Sure Have Fun
I have a 1989 Ford 1920, .......the bigger brother to the Ford 1715.
An absolutely wonderful machine, made in Japan by Shibaura, for Ford.
I completely refurbished mine, including a new auto quality paint job.
I also have a 48 HP Kubota TLB, but my little Ford gets the most use.
I have had a 1710 and it was a great tractor.!Traded it in on a 1920, completely rehabilitated it and use it year around!
Be a great tractor for Capitan Kleeman.
In 1980 a tractor dealer I worked for bought a boat load of those tractors. They came from Japan and was an awesome tractor . The sizes were very small to larger than what you have there. They would be in a creat you put the wheels on a d put the loader on fill all fluids we never had any problems. Ford made awesome tractors. There pickup trucks oh well what can I say . All we did on those tractors was maintenance. Construction company's and farmers bought those tractors. Great on fuel. Don't know why they stopped making them .Denis from Santa Rosa CA
You guys have to know that’s a Yanmar! They were the same machine basically since the late 70s/early 80s! Things you don’t do with them, is run them out of fuel, unless you like to bleed the system from tank forward, you don’t fck around with the air filters, use the right stuff & the right washers! Also, don’t slip the clutch! Because they can get burnt up in less then 50hrs on them, with a moron running it!
Was laughing all the way through the show love it.
Very few glow plugs go bad on these units - it is the relay. you will greatly extend the life of your front tires by turning them around backwards. you won't loose any traction, but the wear is greatly reduced especially with a loader. the 1715 was an "economical" version of the Ford compact tractors. The "full blown" version is the 1720. It has more gears and you could get it in a hydro which was awesome. You have a great little tractor that should last at your house as long as you want it to stay there. A good tractor to teach your grandkids how to drive in the future!
Model A, 9N Tractor and this 1715 all have about the same level of technology. Not a bad thing, they all do the job!
Not counting the diesel parts
Captain K will fix you up with that quick attachment!
You get those issues fixed and you will have a good tractor
Yessiree.., “she’s a beaut” Clinton. That little unit will run forever.
Great video,
Thank you sir.
Fixing the rims make less tipsy so right thing to do
Well done boys, just 'cos it's a Ford ol Henry would've lloved it!!
Pro Tip : How to get the squeak out of your concrete floor. Lubricate, lubricate, lubricate!
Ladies and Gentlemen, we give you the C&C amateur hour comedy show. Including the whole gang, well no, only one junior C&C member showed up. LOL You guys are a hoot. Would you come over to Illinois and "detect" why the trailer receptacle on my Nissan Pathfinder 2020 won't show any running lights?????
Great tractors. They’re hard to bleed the fuel systems, which you found out. They’re also cold blooded. You have to use the glow plugs even if it’s 80° out, for the first start of the day. If it’s parked in an unheated building, they can be a real bitch to get started in winter. Heat lamps and/or torpedo heaters required. Ford should have put a block heater in standard.
They only require four fluids: diesel, coolant, 15W-40 engine oil, and NewHolland 134 fluid or equivalent.
Nice a little machine
Kevin, as usual, makes the show. Randy adds to it. It is great that all interactions are great.
Kevin discussed with the ford tractor and he's bought an el camino who's the wally I'd rather have the tractor sorry Kevin but I like blue stuff and 1715 is a nice little tractor 😊
Thanks Clint 👏👏👏👏🍺 🤗
I own a 1720 I bought around 20 years ago nearly new condition- the little guy has been absolutely trouble free! It even thinks it’s a bigger tractor than it is lol! When you get it fixed you will be glad you found it!
Yes on quick attach.
No Frost means less snowmobiling for winter.
GM did have Tractors, they were called Samson
You never know this could be the next big thing C&C farm equipment division 😀 lol
Reminds me a little of the 1950 Ford 8N I spent hundreds of hours operating on my dad's farm in the 1950s and 60s.
Nice find, FORD POWER!!!!!!💪💪
I bought a well used 1984 Ford 1310, 4 sp 4WD, shuttle shift , 3 point rear hitch and FEL in 2006 for $6,000. I used it and traded it in for a JD 2025R in 2016. The Ford did good until the front frame bolts started stripping out of the engine block.
it is about time that you guys got some quality Blue paint in the shop. please keep up the good work.
Quality blue paint would be a GREAT idea... But C&C got a Ford instead...
