  • This is a woodcarving knife made of carbon steel, excellent for beginners. It is also easy to sharpen, which means that you can experience enjoyable woodcarving moments over and over again.
The characteristic woodcarving knives are highly appreciated all over the world and are well known for their excellent sharpness and high-quality. Not least because they are used by the skilled craftsmen in Nusnäs, where one of Sweden's most famous national symbols, the Dala horse, is produced.
With a barrel-shaped oiled handle of Scandinavian birch wood and a long, tapered blade in carbon steel, you can carve beautiful objects, only your imagination sets the limits. The knife’s full rat tang, which runs through the entire handle, provides both strength and stability in each cut and the handle gives you the opportunity to shape it to your own needs or expression.
Carbon steel rusts, wipe and oil the blade after use.

Everyone in my carving club has at least two Mora's besides all the posh carving chisels and Flexicut items . That says a lot about how good Mora are!

Mora is one of my favorite knife brands. However, I think it would be useful to make more scabbards for left-handed people. It would be useful to launch a line of Mora knives cut by Convex, not all Scandli. Yours sincerely. 😊👍🌲

Or just let the blade form a patina.
When you look at Cody Lundin's Mora 1 or 2 , it's all black.
But functions just as well as when it's shiney.

Something Mora now sells at a 5000% markup. Grease in a can. Maybe it can be used as mustache wax too, or tattoo brightener? Or perhaps make your voice sound like an old Swede even though you're 35? Or as waterproofing for your work boots that you've never done a lick of work in.

never draw a Mora knife towards your own body. If you want to live longer than today.

There are several safe cuts towards the body in the sloyd tradition. Unless you mean sticking the knife in yourself, then duh, don’t do that :)
