@@luis_6507 not that difficult but it breaks your stamina about 2.30 in, the solo is pretty easy. Ome of the only songs where the rhythm is much harder than the solo
yeah I'm learning it on the guitar right now, and it's one of most difficult rhythm guitar songs that I've ever played. It's really fast and technical.
@@KorsAir1987 and after you learn how to play it on guitar then you can practice singing and playing it at the same time lol. I don't think people really understand how difficult it is to play this song and sing it at the same time as well as a lot of Megadeth songs

+Chanel Brauer I think it's because at this point he was already having difficulty singing that high. He had to push hard. If you watch older footage from the 80s and 90s you'll see he doesn't struggle like this.
Those are “CONJURING” riffs man....it amazes me how mustaine plays and sings at the same time....hats off to “MEGADAVE “ \m/..this guy is doin these things for more than 3 decades....
I honestly think Dave's live singing and playing is much better than it was back in the 90s. He focused a little too much on speed back then and just aimed to play as quickly as possible, but in this video, he's aiming more for accuracy and tries to keep the speed normal, which honestly sounds a lot better in my opinion. It's rare to see musicians sound even better live after 20+ years, so this makes me even more impressed by Dave.
The 21 people who disliked this song doesn't realise the complexity of the song, being able to play and sing at the same time is amazing. Those 21 dislikes do not have appreciate for art. This is a very complex song to play n sing at the same time is close to impossible
He is really good drummer and he seems like a very nice guy in interviews but he always looks like a robot while nick menza used to destroy the drums while playing and in my opinion nick menza is way better drummer, but hey thats just my opinion and Shawn is great drummer too but for me Nick is God on drums...Rust in peace Nick, we miss you
47 and into megadeth from the beginning. Still have my KIMB tour shirt in the attic. This is in my top 5 Megadeth songs hands down. To play THIS and SING at the same time is insane and what makes Dave one of the best. Unbelievable. And to this day, after seeing many concerts through the decades, he can still sing and play these killer riffs without looking at his fretboard. Even Kerry King has said he can not do that to this day... and he's not even singing!
@Fmc 2465 For raw thrash - KIMBABIG>Kill em All>SFSGSW>Rust in Peace>Ride The Lightning>Peace Sells>And Justice for Jason>Master Of Puppets My opinion on best albums considering every aspect (aggression, melody, licks, etc) - Rust in Peace>Peace Sells>Ride the Lightning>KIMBABIG (My favorite song is The Skull Beneath The Skin)>And Justice for Jason>MoP>SFSGSW>Kill Em All Ye I've only included albums before 1991. After 1991 everyone started going down in style.
"Hook in Mouth", "Black Friday", "Loved to Death", "Headcrusher" and "This Day We Fight" - I'd say they were Megadeth's most speedy/aggressive songs :)
This song is metal genius. Notice how the rhythm guitar at the beginning is answered by the drums and bass, and it repeats to establish the song. The lyrics do the same thing ("got one chance" is answered by the chorus "infiltrate them!"). Another point about how brilliant the song is: the only solo on guitar is saved to start near the end of the song, and it lasts until the song is finished. Even the solo answers the lyrics, as was established in the beginning of the song. The variety, thundering drums, fantastic guitar solo, lyrics, and the way it's arranged and performed makes this song a 10.
The original was actually much better. There are some cellphone footage of this show here at youtube and they ironically better than the overdubbed version.
catastrovision this isn't about having "swag" in order to succeed as an artist you have to look good period. Broderick is a great acceptable guitar player he is no Marty Friedman
He does have a perfect voice for the backing parts on this or five magics Check out megadeth playing phantom lord live with Newsted on vocals and wearing a megadeth shirt 😂
The stuff that Dave is playing here while singing is fuckin outrageously difficult
Not in this song lol...
Thats why i consider this song one of Megadeth's hardest songs. Its difficult for every instrument imo.

Really like david ellefson's tapping in this song it's rare to see techniques like that in Metal ^^
It's rare to hear tapping in metal? .. uh... how much metal do you listen to?
@@jackgriffin941 i think he's talking exclusively about bass
*Laughs in Gojira*

Great song to play in the morning while driving the kids to school😉\m/
my brother \m/
i laughed at a yt comment?...
"Go to school and give em hell"
I nominate this as one of the thrashiest songs ever. My face has been sufficiently melted by this song.
Love that bass at 01:37
For a 50-years old dude his voice is really great, assuming of how much he pushes it to the limit to sing the way he does since 1985.

Thank god that this here is completely overdubbed in studio. If you listen to real recordings his voice is especially on this 2010 tour horrible.
Since 83
and he's still sing in standard tuning here.
Ellefson became my favourite bassist from literally one second of playing. 1:38
Chris's backing vocals on this intro are metal as fuck!
Techno Prisoners, Techno Shit!
I hear exactly the same thing!

there are so many riffs in this song, its even more awesome live than on the album.
Adam Lueb I agree but the intro totally overshadows the other riffs on this song, not good.
Dave singing is really on point while playing such guitar parts!
vocals are rerecorded in studio for this DVD btw, if you want to know how he really sounded around that time, cheack live in Sydney.
I think I just decided on my favorite Megadeth track of all... This song has everything! Take no prisoners, take no shit!!! It's great!
I first listen to this one when I was 15 and though it was the best thrash ever.. Now I'm 35 and I KNOW there is no better thrash than this.
Absurd. Thiscmancgives every song every performance his whole body and soul. What a hero, warrior. Dave saves the world
